One,
Living with Qiu Zhongyang was like living in a prison. His house is on the twelfth floor, but the fire escape only goes to the eleventh floor. It’s against the law, but Qiu has power, so who dares to say no?
If someone asks: Isn’t Qiu Zhongyan afraid of fire alarms? His answer was: “The chances of a fire alarm are very few, but the chances of someone coming up the fire escape with a gun are many.”
If you are as powerful as he is, you will not blame Qiu Zhongyang for being too concerned. Qiu Zhongyang didn’t even go out much; he only went to a nightclub once a week. So the beautiful and seductive Hua Ting got bored after only ten days.
Her way of showing her boredom was to tease me; this has always been the first symptom of women here over the years, and Qiu Zhongyang and I have long since gotten used to it. Hua Ting was a woman of about twenty-five. She had a perfect body; if it weren’t for the cloud of sadness that covered it, her face would have been impeccably beautiful.
In the evening, while we were watching TV, she was still wearing an evening gown. Like she was going to a big event, but when Qiu Zhongyan suggested having a little drink and going to bed, she went in with him to change and I stayed outside to mix the drinks.
She came out barefoot, wearing nothing but a transparent nylon nightgown. She glanced at Qiu Zhong Yang as if to demonstrate to him, then picked up her drink and raised it towards me, deliberately letting those plump breasts come up towards me. The sheerness of the nightgown was so transparent that you could clearly see her wonderful naked body.
If Hua Ting had been showing off to someone else, Qiu Zhongyang would have slapped her. But he was only amused when she showed off in front of me.
“You’re wasting your time, baby.” He said, “Officer Densen’s blood is frozen.”
This sentence provoked Hua Ting to become even more slutty. She walked up to me and pressed close to me, and between her breasts and me, she was on the verge of touching.
“Densen, are you really like this?” She looked at my face.
“No.” I said, “It’s just a matter of loyalty. The boss’s woman doesn’t interest me because he’s my boss and my friend. If I think evil of his woman, it would be as disgusting as thinking evil of my own sister-in-law.” I dragged a chair and sat down to drop my drink. Qiu Zhongyang laughed out loud.
“How was his speech?” Qiu Zhongyang said, “Do you know Deng Xian graduated from university? He’s just giving you face when he says he’s loyal, right? Even if you weren’t my woman, he wouldn’t look at you, he has his eyes.”
I frowned and he added, “Just saying, Densen, and I know you’re my best friend.”
He turned to Hua Ting again, “Do you know why I let him stay here? Because he is the only person in the world that I can trust completely. Even if you walked in front of him naked, he wouldn’t even look at you!”
The doorbell rang. Qiu Zhongyang’s face sank.
“Who’s still calling in the middle of the night?”
“I hope it’s a man who’s a little angry!” Watting headed for the door.
“Stop!” Qiu Zhongyan said sternly; she stopped immediately.
He softened his voice a bit, “This place is always answered by Densen. If you open that door, I will beat you half to death!”
She was a little scared and went back to the wine bar unhappily. I went into the room, holstered my gunny sack, and put on my coat again. As I came to the door, the doorbell rang again.
Through the doorway I saw a short man, probably about fifty years old, with a lewd appearance, standing inside the elevator. I unlocked and opened the heavy steel doors.
“Good night, Akiyo.” I said, “What are you doing here?”
Qiu Yong took off his hat and said warily, “Is Mr. Qiu asleep, Mr. Deng Xian? I have some confidential news!”
“What’s confidential?”
“It’s probably worth ten million dollars!”
I looked at him and didn’t move, and he said in a rush, “But I’ll take three.”
“Hands on your head!” I ordered him. Then I searched his body and realized he wasn’t carrying a gun.
“Wait.” I shut him out.
Back in the hall, I said to Qiu Zhongyan, “There’s business, tell her to steer clear.”
Qiu Zhongyang’s mouth pouted toward the sleeping room door, and Hua Ting tilted her head and walked in, slamming the door behind her.
I’ll go open the gate again and bring in the short man. Qiu Zhongyang stood up straight and looked him up and down.
“Who is this guy?” He asked.
“Autumn Yong.” I said, “He’s a police informant, what you call a ‘kid head’. He’s going to sell you a piece of information worth ten million dollars.”
“Oh?” Qiu Zhongyang said, “What do you have for sale, kid?”
“Mr. Qiu. That’s expensive information, and you have to promise first not to tell anyone I said so.”
Qiu Zhong Yang narrowed his eyes, “You came knocking on the door in the middle of the night to ask for three million dollars, and you’re still selling out? I asked you once more and you didn’t answer, then I told Guan Deng Xian to ask in another way, what news do you have?”
Qiu Yong gave me a horrible look and said hurriedly, “I mean Gion is that if they know I told them, I’ll be in big trouble. I told you, but I always have to be covered.”
“Who dares to touch you if you do Qiu Zhongyang a favor?” Qiu Zhongyang laughed and said, “No one has that much guts!”
“There’s just one person who thinks he’s that bold. He’s planning to get rid of you and steal your position.”
The boss and I both looked at him sullenly.
“Who?” Qiu Zhongyang asked.
“I don’t know who he is? All I know is that his shooter is Sinford.”
Qiu Zhongyang’s eyes turned into slits, a bit skeptical, “Xinfu is one of our own!”
“I know, but what I said wasn’t a lie, it came from one of Sinfu’s best friends, Ai Qing. Ai Qing was too drunk to remember having told me, but he was also too drunk to tell the whole truth.” Qiu Yong turned to me, “According to Ai Qing, after Sin Fu killed Mr. Qiu, his boss will give him your current position.”
I smiled at him. He hurriedly took a step back, “I’m only telling you what I’ve heard, please don’t be angry!”
“What else?” Qiu Zhongyang asked.
“That’s all.” Akiyo said apologetically.
Qiu Zhongyang waved his hand, “Give him three million dollars, Deng Xian.”
I said woodenly, “Now that we’ve got the news, we’ll just have to make the first move. If Sinful knows that you know, we’ll lose the head start again.”
“Uh, yeah! Sometimes I wish you hadn’t gotten into a fucking college!” Qiu Zhongyan said, “This is something to be cautious about!”
“Now, what can I do to prevent Qiuyong from selling what we know to Sinfu for another three million dollars?”
Qiu Zhongyang looked at Qiu Yong contemplatively, Qiu Yong was shocked, “I won’t, Mr. Qiu, I won’t betray you for any amount of money!”
Qiu Zhongyang shrugged, “Deng Xian is right, we can’t take any chances.”
Qiu Yong fell to his knees. “Please, Mr. Qiu! Please, Mr. Kuan!”
I drew my gun.
“Don’t do it here!” Qiu Zhongyang said.
I gave him a cold look, “Do you suddenly think I’ve become stupid?” I gave Qiuyong a knock on the head and he wouldn’t move. I put the gun away and fix him over my shoulder.
“Be back in about an hour.” I said, “You’ll have to wait to open the door for me.”
“But you have the key to the door.” Qiu Zhongyang said.
“It’s good. If it was yesterday or so I would have used it, but today the situation has all changed. From now on, I want you to lock the door when you’re alone in the house.”
“You’re giving orders now?”
“My job is to safeguard your life, if you’re not happy with me then hire another bodyguard!”
Two,
When he heard me say that, he was dumbfounded for a moment and smiled wryly, “When I ask a doctor to heal me, I do what the doctor tells me to do. You’re an expert bodyguard, I’m supposed to listen to you, so I’ll just lock the door.”
An hour later, Qiu Zhongyan opened the door and let me in, and I mixed myself a drink.
“What did you put him in?” Qiu Zhongyang asked.
“He’s safe now, he’s got two chains on him, he’s in a hundred feet of deep water.”
“You’re really an all-rounder.” He laughed a little, then asked in all seriousness, “Do you recognize this Ai Qing who leaked the news?”
“I know, don’t you know him?”
“Why, would I know him?”
“Because he just happened to be one of your men, too.”
“Oh?” He raised one eyebrow, then shrugged, “What he does.”
“Beaters, subordinates of Gurung.”
“The Xin Fu that Qiu Yong is talking about is also a subordinate of Gurang! Do you think it will be thought that Gurang is that ambitious man?”
I shrugged, “How many people are qualified to entertain such thoughts?”
He thought for a moment, “It’s safe to say there’s no one, unless he has another political affiliation that I don’t know about. Even if there is, it doesn’t come out of Li Si in the Western District and Gu Lang in the Eastern District. But even if it’s besides me, they don’t have the certainty to come out and claim the throne. They still have to see what Ouyang Feng and You Win want to do?”
I said, “Ouyang Feng and You Win both want to be the next mayor, but if the two turn on each other, neither may be able to become one. Maybe they made a deal with one of them, Li Si and Gu Lang, to promise political support if they beat his rival and you.”
“That’s reasonable.” Qiu Zhongyang said, “If either Li Si or Ouyang Feng dies, the remaining one will naturally take control of the entire regime. I’ve always viewed them as a pair of hitchhikers, but it’s not a bad idea to view them as a pair of enemies!”
“Tomorrow I’ll go and see that Ai Ching who drinks and mouths off.” I said, “If I ask him nicely, he’ll talk just as well or awake.”
Qiu Zhongyang frowned, “Then he might just report Sinfu for us to know.”
“No way.” I said, “I’ll send him a hundred feet underground.”
The next morning, I went to look for Ai Qing alone. By noon, I had returned. Hua Ting was present and I couldn’t report to Qiu Zhongyang, so I suggested that she go out to visit the company. Qiu Zhongyang picked up the phone and called the big Gatling to come, then gave her another two thousand dollars.
After the door closed, Qiu Zhongyang asked, “How did it go?”
“Good, it’s Ai Qing.” I said, “Xin Fu told Ai Qing the whole thing. It was You Win who promised to support Gu Lang on the condition that Gu Lang take out Ouyang Feng and you. The shooter was Xin Fu; the price for his shooting was to sit in the second chair in the future.”
“That’s where you are now, which means you’re on the blacklist too. What did you do with Ai Qing?”
“He has gone to accompany Qiuyong; neither of them will leak a word.”
Qiu Zhongyang laughed for a while and finally said, “I think the first thing I’m going to do now is talk to Ouyang Feng. He’ll be interested to know that his hitchhiker You Win will want him dead!”
“Better get Reese in on it.” I said.
Qiu Zhongyang frowned, “Why?”
“If we rashly kill You Win, Gurang and Xinfu, he’ll get nervous, he’ll think you’re clearing the party and he’s in danger too. Also, Gurang’s men won’t be convinced, so it’s better if we find out that Li Si is helping us first, or else there might be problems. If Li Si knows that Gu Lang deserves what he gets, I don’t think he’ll object.”
“Yes, if there is a price. He’ll ask to take over Gurung’s territory now.”
“Just give it to him.” I said.
Qiu Zhongyang shook his head, “It would make him too powerful and possibly ambitious.”
“He can’t without Ouyang Feng’s support.” I said, “When we remove You Win, you have to remember that Ouyang Feng will have sole power. Since the momentum is set, he will not want to change, so how can Li Si talk him out of it?”
Qiu Zhongyang carefully thought it over and said, “You have a good head on your shoulders, Deng Xian. We’d better drag Li Si in with us. In case of a wreck, we can drag at least half the city’s gunmen with us.”
“I’ll call Ouyang Feng and Lis this afternoon, okay?” I asked.
Qiu Zhongyang nodded and I picked up the phone. I made an appointment for them to meet here at three o’clock.
Ouyang Feng’s stature was tall, not far from Qiu Zhong Yang, he just appeared a bit too well maintained, with more fat than muscle. His cheeks were loose, as if sagging like a tiger dog. I had just handed him a glass of wine when Li Si arrived. Ouyang Feng came alone, but Li Si brought a bodyguard with him.
Reese was a tall, thin man with teeth like braided shells. He had a habit of opening his mouth, and his appearance seemed silly, but in fact, his brain was sharper than a computer.
After I opened the door and let him in, I said to his bodyguard, “Go outside on the balcony, Hong Jin. There are chairs there and your boss will call you when he wants to leave.”
Li Si looked a little unnatural, and I explained, “This is a confidential meeting, and Qiu Zhong Yang does not want idle hands to hear it.”
Reese shrugged and followed me into the hall. Hong-jin goes out onto the balcony, which I close to shut out the sound.
“Want some wine?” I asked Reese.
He shook his head. “Are You Win and Gurang coming?” He asked Qiu Zhongyang.
Qiu Zhongyang laughed dryly and said, “No, it’s them we want to talk about.” He looked at Ouyang Feng, “If I tell you that You Win and Gulang have made an appointment to waste you, how do you feel?”
Ouyang Feng was obviously startled. He carefully put down his glass and said, “You’d better say it again, I didn’t hear you clearly.”
“You heard me well.” Qiu Zhongyang said, “You’re already on their blacklist; so am I, and presumably so is Guan Dengxian. The man ready to shoot is Xinfu. Gulang wants to take my seat, You Win, and wants to monopolize the power. If you and I are killed, Xinfu can take Dengxian’s seat.”
Ouyang Feng said in disbelief, “You didn’t make a mistake, did you?”
“Never wrong.” Qiu Zhongyang told what had happened.
Reese calmly asked, “What does that have to do with me? And I’m not on Gurung’s blacklist?”
“In principle, every one of our men is under my orders.”
Qiu Zhongyang said, “But I have always divided the power between you and Gulang. So in fact Gulang’s men listen to him and your men listen to you. And you each have half of the gunmen in the city. If anything goes wrong, you’ll either help me or beat me up; riding the wall is out of the question.”
Reese considers this for a moment, his mouth opening wider and looking like an even bigger fool. Finally, he says, “What’s in it for me?”
“You get Gurang’s territory. That way, you control the whole city.”
Qiu Zhongyang paused for a moment, “Naturally, you’re still under my orders; you can’t push me around without Ouyang Feng’s support. I don’t think Ouyang Feng will support you either; right?”
Ouyang Feng moistened his lips a bit, a bit delayed, “Right. It’s best to minimize the bleeding.”
I interposed; “The way to minimize the bloodshed is to put You Win, Gurang and Xinfu to death. Let’s discuss this matter now, and if we keep it secret, it will soon be done.”
“How do you keep a secret?”
Li Si said, “I must inform my brethren. They are naturally absolutely loyal to me, but a great matter like this cannot be kept secret no matter how much precaution is taken. Is not Gurang an example?”
“We don’t need your brethren.” I said, “We’re just preparing for the unlikely event that we use them as a backup, and you and I will both be shooting.”
“You mean we’re going to put down Yo Win, Gurang, and Sinfu on our own?” Reese asked rifling his eyes.
“It’s only Gurang and Sinfu who have to be put down, and if we kill the Chief of the Department of Justice in a vendetta, it’s going to be a big deal. He’s supposed to die by accident, to die so that even Gurang is kept in the dark.”
Ouyang Feng said, “It’s a good doctrine, as long as we don’t have a big war.”
Reese said reluctantly, “I’m not used to shooting myself.”
“But think of the cost.” I said, “Your power will be doubled from what it is now.”
Three,
Since he’s already on Sinford’s blacklist, Ouyang Feng wouldn’t dare to leave without the protection of his bodyguards. I advised Li Si to leave Hong Zhen with him.
“So what about me?” Reese asked, “Or am I on the blacklist too?”
“Never mind, we’ll do it tonight.” I said, “Have dinner here and go afterward. With me protecting you, is it still better than Hong Zhen.”
Rees looked at Qiu Zhongyan and said razor-sharp, “You can use him; I’m safe locked up in this house.”
Rees opened the balcony door and called Hong Zhen in, and after giving him instructions, Hong Zhen left with Ouyang Feng.
At five o’clock, Hua Ting came back, her hands full of big bags, she looked at Li Si curiously, Qiu Zhong Yang said, “This is Li Si, he stayed here for dinner tonight.”
Although Qiu Zhongyang can afford to hire more than a dozen servants, he hires none, and he makes sure that Hua Ting cooks and cleans. His reasoning was, “It’s a woman’s job.” In fact, I knew he was afraid of being poisoned. Although he was in a high position and ate delicious food, he always felt that his life was in danger.
Before the meal, we dropped off our drinks together on the terrace. Reese looked at the lawn on that big balcony and said, “It’s strange to see the grass even from the roof.”
“It’s like having your own private park.” Qiu Zhongyang said.
He gleefully explained that he was working as a gardener here and that the ground floor had water distribution equipment. We walked up to the fence that fronted the street. The wall was only knee-high. Reese chanced a glance at the twelve floors below the wall and took a step backwards in fear.
“It’s not good if someone is drunk.” He said, “Drunks can easily fall out, this wall should be made higher.” Then, he suddenly said as if he had something to say, “Wouldn’t it be better to ask You Win to come here?”
Qiu Zhongyang shook his head. “Killing in this place won’t work, you can take him somewhere else and run him over with a car.”
Reese shrugged, “That’s just what I thought.”
Because of her trip to the street, Hua Ting came alive and made a good job of dinner. But when she realized that after dinner I was going out with Lis, and she was to stay home with Qiu Zhongyang, she sank back down.
“Why can’t we go?” She asked.
“Because they’re there on business.” Qiu Zhongyang said, “You may think it’s strange, but sometimes when someone goes out on the street at night it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to a nightclub.”
Reese and I were out the door by eight o’clock.
“Our friend Yo Win has dinner at the ‘Lido’ every Thursday.” I said, “That’s his custom. About nine o’clock, he comes out.”
“You’ve already checked it out?”
“I’ve always known the dynamics of everyone in the organization.” I said, “No matter what people are talked about, I know them by heart, and I can tell you where you spend your nights more often.”
We went to the garage and took the little Ford out. Originally, the Gatling was available as well, but it was too conspicuous.
At 8:03, we parked opposite the Lido. At 9:05, You Win came out.
Yo Win is a rather handsome and burly man who is not yet married. He was considered one of the most beautiful men among the celebrities, and he was not very interested in women. He was rarely seen with women in public arenas. He was fond of drinking, but in moderation, and never got drunk. Tonight he was here alone, and the situation was even simpler.
“How do I get down?” Reese asked.
“Take it easy and see where he goes.” I said, “It’s too bright around here, and even if we can get him in the car, there’s a good chance someone will see him.”
Yo Win came out of the dining room on foot and didn’t bother to cut off the streetcar. We kept watching him turn the corner. I started the car, too, and followed. He went into a wine bar in the middle of a half-block.
It was half past ten before he entered a dark section of street. Fortunately, it was also close to where he had parked. Apparently he wanted to try some of the wine bars on the neighboring street, and he took a shortcut through a dark cross street.
I tossed Reese the keys to the car, “Drive the car into the cross street and I’ll hold it off until you need it.”
In the middle of the cross street, I caught up with You Win. There were lights at both ends of the street, but the center section was completely dark.”
“Hey, Yo Win, wait up!” I shouted. He turned his head slightly drunkenly to look at me.
He recognized me when I walked up to him, and he was surprised when he said, “Hey Densen, where did you come from?”
“Just happened to see you walk in here.” I said, “Wanted to buy you a drink, where are you going?”
“Neighborhood street for a wine bar.” He tried to keep walking again, and my hand went on his shoulder.
“Wait a minute, Yo Win, Reese came with me too, he’s gone to drive the car, let’s wait for him to pick us up and go together.”
He’s starting to look at me skeptically.
“Reese? You all only drink before you go to bed, when did you start hanging out at the wine bar in pairs?”
“It’s just for tonight.” I said, “Qiu Zhongyan is buying dinner and we want to hang out afterward.”
He hesitated, unable to decide whether it was better to keep going or to stop. At that moment, the headlights came from down the street. Together we waited for the little Ford to pull up to us. Reese turned off the headlights and stepped out of the car.
“What for…” said You Win, trying to speak, when the barrel of my gun had already struck him on the temple. His body went limp and he lay down on the ground.
Reese panicked and said, “Can’t you detect this in an autopsy?”
“Check it out.” I said, “He was hit by a car and hit his head on the concrete. You think the coroner is a god?”
“Then let’s get him in the car and get going.” Reese said nervously.
“Why take him when we’re already in an ideal location?”
Reese looks worriedly at both ends of the street while I take a careful look at the crouching body. I think he is in an ideal position now. I signaled Reese to get in the car and backed it up about ten feet or so. I twisted the headlights on a little brighter to get a better look at my target and then kept driving forward, letting the car jump twice as the left wheel rolled over his head and the right wheel rolled over his legs.
Afterwards, I didn’t stop to see what the consequences were; no one survives being run over on the head by more than a ton of pressure.
Turning off the main road, Reese asked me, “What about those wheel marks?”
“I’ve done a lot of this kind of thing.” I said, “Don’t worry about it.”
After I dropped him off at home, I drove the car to a car company; it was owned by a friend who was not a talker. I replaced all four outer tires and took them to the garbage pool. I carefully embedded boulders in each tire and rolled them down the pool. If the police had drained the garbage pool, they would surely have found the primary evidence in half of the unsolved murders of the last ten years.
Four,
You Win’s body was found by a van early the next morning, too late to be published in the morning paper. A short account in the afternoon paper indicated that You Win had been hit by a car. It wasn’t until the evening edition that the news was published. There was not even a hint that it was a premeditated murder.
At dinner, Hua Ting asked Qiu Zhong Yang, “Do you also know this person who was hit by a car and died?”
“Recognize.” Qiu Zhongyang said, “He is my friend.”
“It was probably some drunk who ran him over.” Watting said, “Must be able to find them, right?”
“This kind of murderer usually doesn’t get away with it.” I said to Qiu Zhongyang, “We should send a wreath.”
“Uh-huh.” Qiu Zhongyang said, “I should.”
Hua Ting went to take a shower, and Qiu Zhong Yang and I started discussing the second step.
“Things I have considered.” I said, “If we strike down Gurang, what do you think will happen to his men?”
“They can’t be helped with Reese, especially when their best gunman, Sinford, goes down too, and they’re a rabble.”
“But it’s still better to have a trial, so that Gu Lang’s men can understand what their master died for.” Qiu Zhong Yang looked at me for a moment, “What you mean by that is…”
“I’m talking about interrogating him in Reese territory. We could hold a meeting at Lis’s main office on the west side of the city; Gurang is going to bring a few gunmen, but he’ll still be outnumbered with Lis surrounded. We can publicly execute Gurang and Xinfu, but let the rest live to go back and spread the word, and things will work out just fine.”
I called first to Gurung and then to Rees. I told them to meet tomorrow night at nine o’clock at the General Organization on the west side of the city to discuss important matters.
To Gurung, I said, “It’s you that Qiu Zhongyan wants to meet, but it’s okay for you to bring your brothers.”
On the phone, I didn’t want to tell Reese what we were planning, but I hinted: he’d have to gather all the shooters present when the time came.
I hung up the phone and realized that the door to Qiu Zhongyang and Hua Ting’s bedroom was wide open. I couldn’t see into the room from the liquor cabinet; Qiu Zhongyang was still sitting by the liquor cabinet. Qiu Zhongyang was still sitting by the wine cooler, but my phone was not facing the room.
Just after hanging up the phone, Hua Ting came out of the shower room, freshly showered and naked. The light from the top of the room shone on her hot, naked body.
She actually saw me as soon as she stepped out of the shower, but hastily turned her face away, pretending not to know I was there. She stopped so that I could see the front of her body, then raised both hands and swept her black hair back, her firm breasts standing out seductively. Seeing her staging a seductive gesture, I smiled and stood up, returning to Qiu Zhong Yang.
Ten minutes later, she came out, wearing a tight green shirt. She gave me a cold look and tilted her head, her nose in the air.
“What’s gotten into you again?” Qiu Zhongyang asked her, “Two days ago, you were trying your best to pander to Deng Xian, now, why are you as cold as ice?”
“He’s beginning to annoy me as much as you do.”
We’ll meet at the gym. This place is never used at night. Qiu Zhongyang and I arrived early so that we could discuss with Rees beforehand before Gurung came.
A while later, Gurung also came. Not surprisingly to me, he had only two other gunmen with him besides Sinford. He couldn’t help but pause for a moment at the door when he saw all twelve of Reese’s gunmen present. But he didn’t express suspicion, and after greeting us, he sat down in one of the chairs.
While Gurang was a short, fat and violent man, Xinfu was as thin as a bamboo pole and moved slowly. But when he drew his gun, he was as fast as lightning. The remaining two, are useless jerks. They are divided into left and right guards to look at their leader.
Qiu Zhongyang got to the point with a single sentence: “This meeting is not to discuss administration. It’s just an excuse to call you all here. I called you all here because I want a trial, because there is a rat who has ambitions to overthrow me and wants to make himself king!” With those words followed by a period of dead silence. Gurung’s eyes narrowed, suddenly looking around. Xin Fu showed nothing, but his gaze turned from Qiu Zhongyang to me.
The reason why Xin Fu can become a famous gunman is because he is alert enough. Gurang had just realized that Qiu Zhongyang was referring to him, and Xinfu already knew that if they were to start shooting, it would be me. I knew that their reaction was not that they were thieves, but simply appreciated that they were outnumbered, and knew that the traitor they were talking about would not be Li Si, otherwise we would not have snapped in Li Si’s territory. The two followers, however, were still confused.
Qiu Zhongyang continued, “This rat and You Win made an appointment to get rid of me and Ouyang Feng, so that You Win would have sole control of the regime, while supporting him as the leader. Unfortunately, their gunmen leaked out.” He paused for a moment and turned towards Gu Lang, “Now that You Win died unexpectedly and Ouyang Feng promised to fully support me, so this rat bastard is in a dilemma.”
Gurang wet his lower lip, “Why are you looking at me? Could it be that this rat bastard you’re talking about is me?”
Qiu Zhongyang smiled miserably for a moment, “I know.” Turning to me, “Show me the evidence, Densen.”
Sinford wasn’t waiting for my evidence; he probably already knew what the outcome would be. He knew the only chance was to draw his gun immediately. But I was watching him, and as his hand moved toward his lower back, so did mine.
Although I was only Qiu Zhongyan’s bodyguard, he hired me because of my shooting skills. There weren’t many people faster than me, and Sin Fu wasn’t a match for me; although he was fast, his gun had just left its holster and I had already snapped the trigger twice. The first bullet caused Xinfu to topple backwards, and the second embedded itself in Gurang’s throat. I hung down the barrel of my gun and looked at the remaining two rice buckets, whose faces gradually turned from white to blue.
“I guess a trial would be redundant now.” I said, “Don’t be afraid, go back and tell everyone what happens to those who want to rebel, and tell them that Reese is their new leader!”
The two men stood up with chattering teeth and scurried out the door as if a bullet had followed them.
I said to Reese, “Let’s settle the bodies.”
He nodded, then looked around. His dozen gunmen had their guns drawn. He drones, “All right, get ’em outta here!”
Five,
Back at the house, as he behaved himself and went up in the elevator, Qiu Zhongyan said, “You had almost full authority to act on your behalf on this; you were the one who fired the shots, and you were the one who planned them. I was just approving.”
I didn’t make a sound, and he added, “In fact a lot of the time, I don’t even have to use my brain, so it’s a good thing it’s not Gurung you’re helping.”
The elevator stopped, I opened the door with the key, Qiu Zhongyan looked around, the hall was empty. He went into the bedroom. He walks back again, his head poking toward the kitchen, and out into the hall again.
“Strange? Where does Watting go?” He said.
I shrugged and went to the liquor cabinet to mix two glasses of wine. Qiu Zhongyang walks back to his bedroom, and I grab one of mine and head out onto the balcony. Hua Ting was sitting there with a glass at her feet.
“So you’re here.” I said, “Qiu Zhongyan is in a hurry not to see you!”
“Hmm?” She said disinterestedly.
Tonight she was wearing a black evening gown so low that three quarters of her breasts were exposed. She looked especially beautiful in the moonlight.
I said, “Why are you ignoring me? You know I don’t mess with you because of Qiu Zhongyang only.”
She raised her eyes in sudden interest, “Wasn’t your blood supposed to be frozen?”
“You might want to try it again and see?”
She flashed a glance toward the house, “Now? I thought you said Qiu Zhongyan was home?”
“Qiu Zhongyang can’t count for a thing now.” I said.
I put the wine next to her empty glass and pulled her up. She lay into my arms, but still looked at the room.
“You’ve been teasing me, and now that I’m in my shell, you’re scared?”
“You’re not afraid and neither am I.” She said.
Her arms encircled my neck; her lips printed hungrily on mine. We were together for a long time.
Suddenly, a rasping voice said, “What is this?”
Hua Ting jumped away as if electrocuted. Qiu Zhongyang was standing right next to him, wine glass in hand, his face both surprised and shocked.
I said to Watting, “You go into the room.”
She just moved her body. Qiu Zhongyang yelled, “Wait, bitch!” She stopped walking.
“Get in there!” I drank.
Hua Ting and Qiu Zhong Yang were both startled. She finally walked in. Qiu Zhongyang glared at me with his mouth wide open.
“Got some bad news for you.” I took his hand and pulled him toward the short fence.
He looked at me half-angry, waiting for me to explain why I was making out with her. Coming to the wall, I let go and looked twelve floors down.
“What’s wrong?” He said unhappily, “Has your resistance finally been breached by her?”
I looked at him coldly. “You Win didn’t make an appointment with Gurang to scrap you and me.”
“What?”
“The one with the ambition to take over the world alone is Ouyang Feng.” I said, “He asked You Win to stay out of his way. Gurang and Xinfu didn’t realize there was a rebellion until they were dying.”
Qiu Zhongyang was completely at a loss. “What are you talking about?”
“That information about Qiu Yong was deliberately leaked to him by me asking Ai Qing.” I said, “Ai Qing didn’t sink to the bottom of the garbage pool, he’s just hiding; he’s one of my inner circle. In the near future, he’ll be my bodyguard.”
“Your…bodyguard?”
“Doesn’t the Supreme Chieftain have bodyguards as usual?” I said, “Like you, don’t you have me?”
All he would do was open his mouth. I said, “This is the only way I can make it work, if I beat you to death alone, Gurang and Lis will have to duke it out first, and it’s impossible for me to intervene. I need political support as well as forceful support. Therefore, I made a deal with two people; one is Li Si, on the condition that he can receive all that Gurang has; one is Ouyang Feng, who can get rid of You Win. And they both promised to support me once they’ve deposed you!”
“You mean waste me?”
I nodded. “We don’t need you anymore, because we were afraid that Gurang’s men would disobey us, and that’s why we used your authority to kill Gurang and Xinfu. Now, you are tantamount to a waste; in fact, for a long time, you have been useless.”
He was still glaring at me as I went on, “You’re right, you haven’t even needed to use your brain all this time. The people down there are shocked at your name, but the main heads know it’s all about my skills, hence O’Youngblood and Reese’s willingness to do without you. You’ve been comfortable too long!”
He understood perfectly, and even in the pale moonlight his face turned white. I could see that his mind was racing; he handed over the glass in his right hand to his left with seeming unconcern. Then his right hand flashed to the holster of his gun under his coils.
I didn’t draw my gun, I wasn’t going to shoot him in the first place. I just lightly relaxed both hands and pushed on his chest.
He staggered back two steps, the crook of his leg touching the wall as his body leaned out of it. His right hand abandoned the gun and swung wildly into the air to keep his balance. His left hand couldn’t hold on to the glass in his hand, and all the wine cascaded down. Seizing this opportunity, I stepped forward and gave him another hard, gentle punch in the stomach, just enough to unbalance him. His whole body tumbled out.
I thought of that lovely girl, Hua Ting. There were several times when she hinted to me about “sex”, but I refused. It wasn’t that I didn’t want her, but I was in Qiu Zhongyang’s way. Now that Qiu Zhongyang has flipped out, my plan is a success.
I walked in and still saw Hua Ting’s translucent nude body, with two-thirds of her breasts still exposed. Without a second thought, I instantly pressed her down onto the bed. She gasped and seemed nervous, trying desperately to push me away.
“Uh…uh…uh…”
“What’s the matter! You don’t want to…”
“I…I was afraid of him…” she looked out of the room nervously. I knew she was afraid of being seen by Qiu Zhong Yang.
“There was a bit of an accident and he’ll never be seen again.”
“You…you…really?”
She didn’t seem to believe it, but at that point I had removed her clothes, peeling off her bra in the process, and she wasn’t wearing panties underneath. And I also disarmed myself with lightning speed. This time she believed it, because if Qiu Zhongyan hadn’t died, I’m afraid I wouldn’t have been so bold.
So Wah Ting excitedly hugged me up, looking unusually aroused. I also quickly climbed onto the bed and began to tease and tease. Soon, her prodigal behavior was revealed. She was panting heavily, her eyes were like silk emitting flames of desire, and her humming and ah-ah sounds were soothing to the senses.
Days of repression had made me feel like a treasure. Her hungry skin was flawless, smooth and soothing to the touch. I kissed her, touched her breasts, slurped her nipples, and slid my tongue over her belly. Her legs were already parted, I’m afraid she had been looking forward to this for a long time! I could see the water pouring out of her pussy. After the belly, it was the sensitive delta of a woman’s soul. As I licked and kissed her, Hua Ting’s body shook uncontrollably.
“Ah…ah…my god…you…are so good…mmm…comfortable…”
“Uh…uh…th…uh…give it to me…come on…Denzai…come on… “
“Ouch…come on…come on…”
It seemed that this natural beauty was horny as hell. So I got up and used my thick and majestic dick to go through the cave. I didn’t realize that her pussy was quite tight, and it took me a long time to get it in. After my dick went in, I pumped it a hundred times, it was really comfortable. At this time, Hua Ting became even more crazy, forgetting her joy and croaking…
“I love you big cock, so…pumping…ahhh! Th! Mmm! Phew…thrusting so good, come on…big cock…thrust it hard…yes…harder! Harder! Ah…make it harder…kill me, phew…phew…” she gurgled and gurgled.
“Good, good, you’re going to die! I’m going to stick you half to death, stick it in you slutty ‘loan’, huh?” I, too, had long been mesmerized by the sucking and kissing, and clenched my teeth as I replied through them.
“Ah…yes, ouch, so beautiful! So beautiful…yes, yes, yes, this is the place, against the center of the flower, no…don’t pull out, the cock don’t…pull out…top top top…ouch…no good! I’m…I’m dying! Big big cock…you…plug me to death…to death…ah…ah water water water…water is coming out…to die die die… “Hua Ting croaked out again Iso Iso.
Hua Ting ass straightened and straightened, double grasp tightly, thick cunt cum water shot to the glans eye, how can I forbid that ingenious hole inner strength strong shaking and fronting, clamping the cock not to let go, I can not help it. So insert insert insert, to the apex, the sperm door a loose, BuBu semen shot to the uterus, two people at the same time screamed, tightly embraced.
But, when I was tired and warmly hugging Hua Ting and indulging in tenderness, I suddenly felt a chill on my back.
“Ah…” followed by a scream from me. A short knife had been inserted into my back. Hua Ting immediately pushed away from me, dodged to another corner, and quickly dressed.
I felt the sky spinning and couldn’t speak.
As if in a flash, I heard Hua Ting say to me, “You have all failed, let you die under the peony flowers!” I could no longer hear anything else, and my body slowly went cold…
