DESIRE (Deranged Spiral) (3)

Chapter 7 Flow

One,

When! Today, I woke up again to the sound of impact.

After gently putting a heckling Na down on the bed, I walked to the bathroom and quickly washed my face before grabbing my razor.

Today was going to be a day of interviewing what was being experimented on within the institute. I shaved more carefully than usual.

“Ah~, Al’s got bubbles on his face!”

” Na, don’t come over, it’s dangerous yeah.”

“You’re doing something dangerous~!”

I anticipate Na’s embrace and release the razor from my hand. Na shakes my body and jaws the shaving cream, which lands in her hair. Na whisks the lather up and applies it around her mouth.

“Look at you~ It’s just like you~!”

“Puh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh!”

I couldn’t help but giggle at the sight of her growing a white beard.

“It’s over the top!”

Na scrunched up her face unhappily, but that expression doubled the ridiculousness of the white beard even more. I leaned against the wall, trying desperately to hold back my laughter.

“Oh, Nat, the bubbles aren’t necessary for girls.”

” Na is not a girl, she is a woman.”

“Women don’t have to either!”

I wipe Na’s angry face with a towel. For me, Nat’s presence is the only joy here. I haven’t had a moment to spare since I met her, but she’s become an irreplaceable part of my family.

“Al…”

“What are your orders, Your Majesty?”

After looking at me uneasily, Na suddenly hugged me tightly.

“Al, you’re going back tomorrow… when can I see you again?”

I slapped myself and cursed my stupidity. Because unlike me, who was just here for an interview, Nat had lost her memory and had nowhere to go. The consortium must either put Na in an orphanage or leave her in the hands of Dr. Gates. I don’t think it would be good for Na on either count. One, it would break my pact with her. It would break my knightly promise to protect her no matter what.

” Nah, wanna stay here?”

“No. Na wants to be with Al.” Na’s pleading eyes made me make up my mind.

“Then go back together! I’ll ask the professor and Kasmi to say yes.”

“Really?”

“Eh, Honest Al doesn’t lie.” I keep stroking Na’s hair, almost making it knot.

“But I don’t make much money, so life will be hard, right?”

” Na just have to be with Al.”

Although I don’t pretend to be a single person, I like the comfort of living alone. However, I don’t mind giving up that comfort for Na.

“In that case it’s much simpler, I’ll ask them to agree to it while the interview is going on today. Until it’s over, you stay at Cheryl’s. No wandering around no matter what oh?”

“Naw, Na promised you! So you have to keep the promise too!”

Me and Na hooked our pinkies. Like a knight with a sword, I swore to protect her. But as it turned out, I couldn’t keep my vow…

Two,

I was brought to the institute by Reiko as I was yesterday. Yesterday’s aftermath seems to have left Reiko rather exhausted.

“Hey, Al!”

“What are your instructions, my lady? Elle will go through fire and water.”

Unfortunately, my hilarity did nothing to ease her weariness. Reiko glared at me and let out a huge sigh.

“Al, you betrayed Makoto.” Reiko looked at me reproachfully.

“I was with Makoto all last night. Al, it’s none of my business what’s going on between you and Chrissy, but I want you to go apologize to Makoto. Oh no, it’s you yourself who should go apologize.”

Indeed, she was right. Because I did betray Makoto by sleeping with Chris. However, I didn’t know exactly how to apologize. Because Makoto might have had something to do with it, I couldn’t speak to her at all.

“When the visit is over and I’m in a calmer mood, I’ll go and apologize to her. Right now my mind is a mess, and the more I talk about it the worse it will get.”

“If you miss the time to apologize, you may not get another one!”

I didn’t answer. This is something I know very well. If I were just an ordinary person, I wouldn’t have to bear so much pain.

But I’m a journalist.

“After all, it’s between the two of you, I have no right to ask or want to interfere.” Reiko looked at me quietly.

“If you make Makoto cry again, you’ll get your comeuppance.”

“I bear that in mind.”

My conversation with Reiko is interrupted here. Suddenly, Professor Stella’s voice came out from the loudspeaker.

“Attention all staff of (DESIRE). (DESIRE) is closed today. All staff, please pack your bags and begin preparations for evacuation. I repeat…”

Reiko’s stunned expression stiffened with the broadcast.

“Reiko, what’s going on?”

“…like you heard.”

I also put on a look of surprise. Because I don’t want Reiko to know that I am aware of the existence of sabotage work.

“┅That means I’ve become the first and last reporter here. It’s a big responsibility.”

“Yes!” Reiko said coldly. The expression was very grave.

We walked into the institute without saying anything and became even more silent. The service desk of the institute appeared within sight.

Empty chairs greeted us.

“┅┅Don’t like her, but don’t think she deserves to die.” Reiko muttered to herself towards the deserted desk.

In my head, Chris from last night came to mind. She wanted to kill Kasmi. But for whom? And why? Seeking answers, I looked straight to the end of the walkway, to the lab where this interview was to take place.

“Al, the professor is busy. Remember to keep it simple and concise.”

“I’ll try to keep it short.” I said and followed Reiko into the lab.

“Hooooo, that looks like it cost a lot of money.”

The laboratory, filled with research equipment, was much larger than it looked. There are many computers in the room that are connected for control. Although there are no employees now, there is still a lot of space even if there are more than 50 people working together.

‘That’s where the most money was spent, right?’ My eyes, pinned tightly to the innermost part.

Inside, there is a huge dome-shaped piece of equipment that strongly asserts that this is where the experiments were held.

“This is a research facility made by the consortium that has gathered the essence of the latest technology. Naturally, cheap things are not allowed to exist.” Reiko said with her chest puffed out.

“Indeed.”

Even the computers used for control are the latest models. If I remember correctly, one of them can buy a car.

“Professor Stella is waiting inside. While indoor photography is authorized, that reactor dome device is classified and should not be approached.”

“Reactor!?”

“The experimental equipment designed to enable the fusion of genetic elements is called a reactor.”

“Oh…”

I took some pictures around. I don’t feel any excitement at all about taking pictures of this equipment. I can’t understand what’s being studied here with just these. If you need this kind of composition, you can just take pictures of a large computer software development company. What I wanted to take pictures of was the special experimental equipment that directly conveyed the content of the research.

‘It’s probably all hidden in the dome! That’s why I’m allowed to take pictures,’ I thought as I pressed the shutter on the exterior of the dome. I’m still interested in the equipment inside, but it’s unlikely that I’ll be able to avoid Reiko’s eyes.

“Reiko, I’d like to take a picture of the staff sitting in front of the computer. Is there no one else?”

There was no one in the lab. Because I’m here for an interview… I don’t think so. I’ve been told that the research has reached a successful stage, so isn’t it perfectly normal to finish it today?

‘It must be that the research has been thwarted to the point where it can’t be done, or that the staff are still conducting experiments in secret, one of the two’ I prayed in my heart that it wasn’t the latter.

“Then, go to the professor’s! Don’t take pictures as desperately as if you were taking pictures of monkeys.” Reiko probably didn’t like my leisurely photography! Pulled my wrist.

“Joke about your ancestors, be careful of getting the wrath of God!”

Although my mouth was not willing to show weakness, I obediently followed Reiko. Reiko’s severity was more threatening than the wrath of God. Reiko led me towards the bottom of the lab.

Three,

‘This is so like the Miss World pageant!’ The illustrious tech elite, are waiting for me.

There’s (DESIRE)’s chief supervisor, Prof. Stella, technical director Makoto, the consortium’s inspector, Kasumi, and the professor’s exclusive secretary, Reiko. I kind of feel like how great it would be if we weren’t here for an interview right now!

I glanced at them. Kasumi was glaring at me coldly just like before yesterday. It must be because she considered that if she changed her response posture here, yesterday’s incident would be discovered by the enemy! I also think she’s right. Vigilance is always a necessity.

“So, first let me take a picture of the four of you together. Would like one to sit in front of the computer while the other three gather around.”

“I wear a staff uniform, so I’ll sit!”

The one who spoke was Makoto. She purposely passed by me without meeting me at eye level and sat down in front of the connected computer at the very front. The others followed her past me.

“I’m going to shoot.” I changed my framing angle and pressed the shutter many times.

“We don’t have much time, so move fast.” Kasmi watched my movements closely. No different than before yesterday.

“I know. Then start the access!” I took out my handheld MD and placed it next to the computer.

“Professor, please explain what this institute is researching.”

“What is being carried out here is the realization of the legacy of the late Prof. Gustav Stradovic, ‘The Integration of the Environment and Humanity’. We are conducting research to realize the legacy of the late Prof. Gustav Stratovic: ‘Integration of the environment and human beings’. The current stage is to create animals with the ability to purify the environment by developing robustly in a contaminated environment, and to accelerate evolution through the development of improved genetic factors.” Prof. Stella spoke fluently as if he were reciting an original script prepared beforehand.

“Creating… you mean creating creatures?”

“Yes. Among the beings born by the fusion of genetic elements, although they are similar in appearance, their internal structure is completely different. It is most aptly expressed as creation.”

I looked at the giant egg-shaped device. What kind of creatures were being built there?

“How much has been accomplished?”

“It can already be said to have reached the completion stage.”

“I see. This consortium agreed to be interviewed for that reason, right?” I looked into Kasmi’s face, and as I expected, she didn’t answer at all.

“So why was it shut down (DESIRE) moments before it was completed? Did a terrorist organization activity take place?” I asked a hair-splitting question outside of the intended context in order to reach the child’s heart.

“(DESIRE) is not threatened by any terrorist activity. Don’t make false reports.” Kasmi glared at me. Her expression seemed to say to me ‘Say something, you idiot’.

“Kasmi, that’s not correct.”

“Professor Stella, did something happen?”

Professor Strawn nodded at me and gently tapped Kasmi on the shoulder and began to speak.

“The shutdown was indeed due to terrorist activities. As a result, the experimental equipment became uncontrolled. I decided to abandon (DESIRE) for the protection of the staff.”

“Professor!” Makoto and Reiko, exclaimed in unison.

“I see. You must have something in mind about the reasons for terrorist activities?”

“How could there be!” Makoto screams at me, but I don’t look at her.

“Hmm, too many to know which is the real reason.” Prof. Stella smiled gracefully at me.

The three people around her watched her.

“Then tell me the most likely reason.”

“Well…” After glancing to the left and right, Prof. Stella stared at me.

“Maybe it’s because of a killer virus made by applying genetic modifications.”

The MD fell to his feet with a click. It was due to the aftermath of Makoto’s sudden rise. Makoto’s face instantly turned pale.

“Professor, please don’t joke about this.”

“Makoto, unfortunately, it’s not a joke. It’s (DESIRE) the truth.” The smile on the professor’s face did not fade. If Reiko hadn’t blocked her, I’m afraid Makoto would have already pounced on the professor and grabbed him!

“But I’ll get this study done. (The abandonment of (DESIRE) is only momentary. This research is my lifelong destiny.”

“Are you trying to legitimize murder research with a pushy argument like predestination?” I glared angrily at Professor Stella.

The professor’s smile had disappeared and his face was all sadness.

I looked at the professor dumbfounded. Why was the reaction to me and Makoto so different? I wanted to open my mouth to ask her, but Kasmi stopped me.

“In the position of the Consortium, the contents of this interview cannot be allowed to be made public by you.” Kasmi removed the tape and tossed the empty handheld MD to me.

“Reiko-san, escort Mr. Reporter out.”

“Yes!”

Makoto and I, were taken away from the lab by Reiko. I didn’t expect it to turn out like this. Announcing the virus research is definitely a major blow to this place. But why did the professor make it public? I cocked my head and couldn’t figure it out.

“¿… didn’t you do it?”

“What are you talking about?”

As soon as I turned around, Makoto’s sight as sharp as a needle pierced through me.

“I’m asking you, didn’t you do the terrorist sabotage?”

“You’re calling me a vandal?” I glared back at Makoto.

“Because the sabotage started exactly when you arrived. The day before yesterday, too. You kept it all from me and said nothing! I can’t trust you now.”

“Yeah? I have nothing to say if you think so.”

I don’t want to argue. No, there is no defense. Because I did assist in the destruction.

The one who develops a military weapon (DESIRE), and the one who destroys it in order to stop it, which side’s sins are deeper? I didn’t want to question Makoto. I… I know I can’t ask.

“Then the spoiler is going to his room.” I turned my back on Makoto and walked towards the dormitory.

Naokane did not utter a word.

Four,

Climbing up the stairs with heavy feet, I didn’t go back to my room, but headed for Cheryl’s room on the third floor. I didn’t keep my appointment with Na. Because of the unforeseen circumstances of the interview, I missed the time to get permission.

‘As it turned out, there was no mention of Na at all. Maybe we’ll ask the professor for permission later, but Na must be waiting with great anticipation…”

Arrived at the door of Cheryl’s room.

“Cheryl, are you there?” There was a knock on the door, but no response.

“Probably went to the waiting room!” Tip pushed the door slightly, and it opened smoothly.

“Cheryl!!!” I rushed into the room in a panic.

The door to the room slammed shut with a loud bang, but it didn’t matter. Because Cheryl fell in the center of the room. The vase rolled to the side, and Cheryl’s glasses fell some distance away from her. I hurriedly looked around the room, but there was no sign of Na.

I picked up Cheryl and ran my hand down her neck. The pulse was still beating. She was bruised, but didn’t look like she was bleeding. I patted her cheeks.

“Cheryl, are you okay?”

It wasn’t long before Cheryl opened her eyes weakly.

“É… El, El.”

“Cheryl, are you okay? Where’s Na?” I asked her, but she just kept shaking her head.

“Yes, I’m sorry. It’s… my fault…” Cheryl’s tears slid down her cheeks. She kept apologizing to me while crying.

“Calm down. What the hell is going on?”

“I’m sorry… Na, Na was…”

” What happened to Na?”

In order to calm Cheryl down a bit, I hugged her tenderly. Her body trembled slightly as she buried her face in my chest and cried.

“Someone has taken Na… I tried to stop it… but…” Cheryl gazed at me with tears in her eyes.

“No need to apologize, because you did your best.”

“No… I… it’s always like this… oooh…” Cheryl kept shaking her head. I held her gently tight.

“I… always cause trouble… for Na too…”

“It’s okay, don’t say it.”

“I can’t help it… because, it’s true…” said Sheryl, her face buried in my chest.

“I don’t… I don’t do anything… I just cause trouble, I’m useless… If I can die for someone else… then I haven’t lived a wasted life… Oooooh… You must think I’m useless too…”

“Say no more!”

I forcefully took Cheryl’s lips. Cheryl’s eyes opened wide for a moment, then closed silently. She needed someone to say, “You’re the most important person to me.” If I ignored her at this point, she would never be able to get back up.

“Al…” said Cheryl, gently coaxing me to the edge of the bed.

I was worried about Nat, but I couldn’t leave Cheryl. While intertwining my tongues, I pushed Cheryl down. I slipped my hand into her panties.

“Not afraid?”

“… Uh-huh. But…”

Seeing her hesitation, I understood that today was a dangerous day for her.

“No problem!” I said and overlapped her lips again. Having come to this stage, there was no possibility of backing out.

I slapped Cheryl’s breasts from the bra and tenderly rotated them in my palms. Her limbs shook lightly and her hot breath reached my mouth. I quickly undid her buttons. The front hooked white bra that peeks out over her face from the bottom up, glowing against her wheat-colored skin. Then from the top of the bra, I began to stimulate the nipples, teasing them one by one.

“Ummm… ah!”

Cheryl’s fingers popped off a button on my jacket. As if to punish her, I opened the front hook of my bra with my mouth and nipped her pale peach-colored nipple with my teeth.

“Ahhhh!” She twisted her limbs and struggled as if to escape. I sucked on her breasts and removed her panties with my hands.

“Don’t…” she said, but she didn’t resist. The panties with bows at the ends covered Cheryl’s secret flesh.

“What a cute panty.” After saying that to Cheryl who covered her face with her hands, she lightly untied the bow and removed the tiny cloth.

She reached up to cover it and I removed her hand before burying my face inside the mystery delta. Under the pale bush, it was already overflowing with copious amounts of nectar. I let my tongue curl up like a straw and feed it between the walls of flesh that looked like parted tender leaves.

“No… no… ah ah ah… it’s dirty…”

“Not dirty at all.” After I said that, I leapt my tongue onto my already swollen and high grained clit.

“Uhhhhhhhhh… ahhhh! Uh-ah! Aaahhhh!” Cheryl shifted her waist to the right in time with the rhythm of her tongue. I grabbed her waist and pressed my whole face into it, regardless of the fact that it would be covered in wet nectar.

“Thick tongue… tongue… ah ah ah!”

My tongue bucked open her entrance and invaded inward. Wanting the entire tongue to savor the taste of sweet nectar, I pressed into the deepest part and wriggled with the tip of my tongue.

“I can’t… tongue… ah ah ah! It’s going!”

Cheryl pressed both hands against my head and stroked it gently. I thanked her with a firm swirl of my tongue as I pulled off my own pants and underwear. The man-root had long since risen painfully high, twitching and waiting to go out on a limb. Withdrawing my tongue pulled out a thread of nectar.

I grabbed Cheryl’s thighs and secured her waist. Cheryl’s body, jolted.

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! A lewd watery sound came out, and my rod jutted into Cheryl’s blazing walls of flesh.

“Ahhhhhh!”

Stirring like swirling jabs back and forth. The ripe flesh matched the motion, sucking inward. I reveled in the nearly paralyzing pressure as I pushed into my loins one wild turn at a time.

“Woahhh! Uhhhhhhhh! Uh-huh! Al’s, Al’s thing is in the very center! Ooooohhhh!”

I sucked on her tongue as I fiercely drove my stake inward. As if enjoying her internal elasticity to the fullest, they overlapped each other’s bodies and the two tongues entwined with each other.

Coochie! Poochoo! Plop-chop! The sound of nectar resounded in time with the push of my loins. Sherry’s fingertips sank deep into my back.

“Mmm…” Feeling a burning sensation, he raised his body and then lifted Cheryl’s feet to his shoulders, thrusting inward even more quickly and fiercely. Cheryl’s breasts rose and fell like waves with each thrust into her waistband.

“Aaah… aaah! … mmmm ah! Al!”

Cheryl’s secret flesh tightened and twisted up, pressing against my rod. I was about to give out too!

“Ai, Al! Together… uh…”

Cheryl was flushed and intertwined her fingers with mine. I also tightened my grip on her hand and pushed my waist as strongly as a car engine. Cheryl shook her head and her body, which was the color of cherry blossoms, kept twitching.

“Ah! It’s going, it’s going! Al, it’s so good, it’s going to leak!!!”

Cheryl’s limbs spasmed, and her flesh hole clenched violently as if she wanted to give the male root maximum pleasure. Can’t cum in it! I desperately revitalized my consciousness and withdrew my rod that was about to explode.

Goo shoo!!! Coo shoo! Beep beep beep! My rod instantly thrashed and white liquid spurted towards Cheryl. The powerful spurt of semen leaked her breasts and glasses into a milky white.

“… mmmm goo…”

Cheryl’s breasts bobbed up and down and white juices dangled. I was dumbfounded by this lewd scene. Cheryl didn’t realize I was looking at her, and for a moment she stared blankly at the ceiling in a trance.

“Al…”

“Eh?”

“It’s okay if you shoot inside… as long as you’re comfortable…”

I fell silent and hugged Cheryl tightly.

“Al, I’ll go along with Nat.” Cheryl said to me after taking a shower together.

“Aren’t you forbidden to go out?”

“It may not be good… but I stopped thinking about this and that and decided to do it my way.”

Cheryl said to me after changing into her uniform. On her face, I saw a fortitude that no one could match.

Five,

I put on my clothes, stowed the fallen buttons in my pockets, and together with Cheryl began searching for Na.

“First go to the hangar. There you can ask Silvia for help.” I said as I walked down the stairs.

The only one who can be trusted in (DESIRE), besides Cheryl, is Silvia. Although Cheryl showed a disgruntled look for a moment, I pretended not to see it. However, there’s no need to go all the way to the hangar. Because I met Silvia, who came to eat before the waiting room. The light lipstick tells of a change in her state of mind.

“Yo, Al.” Silvia tapped me on the shoulder in high spirits.

“Great, I just happened to want to meet you.”

“Said on purpose to cheer me up!”

Silvia completely misunderstood. Looking at her, who was smiling sheepishly, I was really troubled as to how I was going to take it.

“Better not be mistaken.”

No, it’s best not to take it the wrong way… That’s a very hurtful thing to say… Uh? Who said that? Before I could say anything, Cheryl stood in front of Silvia with her arms crossed.

“Al, what does this woman want?” Silvia’s voice dropped an octave.

“I’m not a female, I’m Cheryl.”

“Not a female, so you’re a male lo?”

“Are you deliberately looking for trouble!?”

As I expected, the two sparked and glared at each other.

“Both of you, calm down.”

I had two heads in one. Both of them realized that the other had slept with me. Although both of them would have to help me find out about Na, if I wasn’t careful, both of them could leave me in a fit of pique. I put my arm around their shoulders and walked towards the waiting room.

“I’m going to need both of your help in the waiting room for a combat meeting!”

The incompatible duo followed me toward the waiting room.

In front of me, there were plates full of food facing the sky.

“That’s… that’s what happened.” I explained to Silvia how Na was taken away.

Silvia looked at Cheryl and I interactively and nodded as if she had another deeper meaning.

“Indeed, Cheryl can’t be relied on at all. Al’s judgment was correct.”

“What did you say!?” Cheryl shouted angrily as she stood up, returning to her seat as she felt the sights around her.

“What do you mean!”

“That’s the idea.”

Snap-snap-snap-snap! I thought I heard a walking fire.

“In the first place, Na should never have been left in the care of someone as weak as Cheryl. If it was me I wouldn’t let him take Na no matter who it was. Al you’re looking at the wrong person.”

“Yeah? That’s a good thing about you. But Al can’t stand it when Na turns into a foul-mouthed girl!”

“What do you mean!”

“It means what you heard it mean!” Cheryl opened Silvia’s eyes with a strong, angry glare.

Only a moment ago, Cheryl had profoundly realized the survival significance of positive rigidity. However, the transformation was too much.

“Don’t argue. The most important thing now is to find Na, not to argue!”

What I said made both of them look disgruntled. Presumably both parties were upset that I didn’t speak up for myself!

“Cheryl, then it’s going to come down to who can save Na!”

“Come on if you’re not afraid to lose!”

Events seem to be going in the wrong direction. The two of them seem to want to compete on who can do me more favors. But since they’re going to do their best to find it, I can’t say anything else.

“So, Al, I’m responsible for not letting Nat be taken on the plane. If you want to take Nat, the only way to do it is on an airplane. I’ll identify the first passengers and baggage for the day.”

“I’ll look in the Institute and you can’t enter the premises.”

The two stood up separately after each had finished and walked out the door with their backs to each other.

“Really, there must be another fight when we find Na.”

I finished my coffee and stood up as well. But after we find her, it doesn’t matter how long we love to argue. Because finding Na was the most important thing right now. With Silvia at the airport and Cheryl at the institute, I… “Let’s go to the beach and the medical center! But… I’m a bit worried.”

The waiting room had only one entrance and exit. I sighed as I watched the duo walking across the room like crabs with their backs to each other toward the door.

Six,

I walked to Na’s favorite beach first. The beach seemed to be still dead from last night’s tragedy.

“Uh?”

There were already two uninvited guests on the beach. It was Reiko and Kyle. Kyle seems to be saying something to Reiko.

“That son of a bitch, Chris is dead and he wants to go after Reiko?” I couldn’t help but feel angry at that indulgent stallion.

“Yo, thinking you’re Reiko’s escort again after Cheryl? You really have no shame!”

“Kyle, the one who has the least right to talk about being unashamed is you.”

After casting a contemptuous smirk at the furious glowering me, Kyle walked past me. The look on his face was almost as if he knew I had slept with Silvia and Cheryl.

“Al, you’re just in time.” Reiko’s words pulled my consciousness back from Kyle.

“Reiko, I don’t think you want to be with that man.”

“That’s for sure. Because, I was really annoyed by him today.”

Reiko looked full of fatigue. However, it was obvious that Kyle was not the reason for her fatigue. Regardless of the fact that her clothes would get sand on them, Reiko sat on her butt on the beach.

“Today’s whole day really feels like years!” Reiko said as if she were talking to herself.

“Reiko, the professor’s words gave you a big shock!”

“That goes without saying! The professor went so far as to conceal that kind of research from me as his secretary!”

“┅So it’s true!”

“…” Reiko wordlessly gripped a handful of sea sand. I don’t think she’s acting.

“It seems I misunderstood. I had thought you must know.”

“How could it! If I had known, I would have stopped her! Maybe it was the death of my daughter, Na, that changed the professor… Why would I help the professor to kill!” After saying that, Reiko stood up and glared at me.

I was stumped in my mind, but it was too late.

“You heard wrong.”

“Lies! Why do you know what even I, the professor’s secretary, don’t know?”

Couldn’t find a suitable excuse.

“Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Forget it. There’s no use talking about it now! The problem is later.”

“I’m going to denounce it to the world.”

Reiko sighed.

“… It seems impossible to stop you.”

“Even if you please me!”

“What kind of please is the same?”

“I’m very sorry…”

I understand why Reiko said that. She’s very attractive. If it were anything else, maybe I could say yes. But not this.

“I get it. From what I know of Al, I’m sure he’d say something like that.” Reiko said brightly.

“Forget about that, Al. What are you going to do about Na? What are you going to do about Na? The abandoned cat that you love so much can’t just say goodbye and part ways!”

“About that, I want to use your power. If I want to take Na, I have to get permission. So…”

Originally, I didn’t want to tell Reiko about Na’s kidnapping. However, the previous conversation made me think that she should be trusted.

“So… I’d like to ask for your help in finding Na, who was kidnapped.”

“I don’t think it was kidnapped! Going on another adventure?”

Perhaps because of yesterday’s incident, Reiko takes reservations about my words. I shook my head vigorously and put my hands on Reiko’s shoulders.

“The prisoner assaulted Cheryl and took Na away!”

“What did you say!” Reiko’s eyes widened.

“Is… Cheryl okay?”

“Uh-huh. She’s helping me find Nat right now.”

“Yes… that’s great. I don’t know who did it, but the culprit seems to be serious!”

Understanding the gravity of the situation, Reiko propped her hand on her lower forehead in deep thought. After thinking for a while, she snapped her thigh.

“It probably has something to do with what I’m investigating! I know, I’ll help search for Na too.”

“On the investigation?”

“Ah, that’s my business. I’m currently working on comparing a certain piece of information with the Foundation’s computerized database. If it’s what I think it is…” Reiko smiled thoughtfully.

“A certain information?”

“That still needs to be confirmed. Don’t worry, I’ll let you know when the time comes. If it’s true, there’s also value in publicizing it!”

I gave a look of remorse.

“Sheesh. How much more please?”

“I’m very sorry…” Reiko pitched back what I had just said perfectly. I totally lost it to her.

“Al, will you be in your room at night?”

“Probably, no, it’ll probably be in the hangar.”

“Hangar?” Reiko thought for a moment before smiling as if she had a deeper meaning.

“Hmph, Silvia is indeed a good girl…”

No… I managed to hold back the words that came out of my mouth. It wasn’t the right time to tell Reiko what I really wanted to do. Besides, Silvia is really a good girl…

“I guessed it! Makoto will cry!”

“Maybe!”

What I’m going to do in the hangar will indeed make Makoto cry. If I denounce (DESIRE), Makoto will not only be suspected by the consortium of leaking information to me, but will also be publicized as the technical director of the research institute that develops bioweapons.

“Yes… It seems I can’t help Makoto anymore.”

I had no answer to Reiko’s despondent words. I mumbled in my mind (DESIRE) as well as myself as a reporter.

Seven,

I parted ways with Reiko and walked towards the medical center, the last place I wanted to meet anyone. The medical center was a beautiful white building that presented a sense of cleanliness. It always felt out of place with Dr. Gates.

“Forget it, whatever!”

I knocked on the door of Dr. Gates’ City, the medical center. There was… no response. You could see through the glass that the building was dark.

“Not here?” I felt bummed. Dr. Gates, a guy with whom I was thoroughly uncomfortable. Turned the doorknob only to find it locked. Couldn’t open it even if I pushed hard enough.

“What are you doing at the medical center?” From behind me, came an icy voice.

“Ah, that…”

The same icy sight as the voice was cast on me who turned around. The person staring at me was Irena.

“You don’t seem to be hurt. Did you eat something bad?”

“No, there isn’t.”

Airena, who was displaying hostility, confused me a bit.

“As a matter of fact, Na has been kidnapped. I don’t think Dr. Gates was unaware of that…”

“So it’s a problem with the mind!”

Irena’s eyes showed mockery. It was hard to imagine from her eyes that she was under the age of twenty, but she looked exactly like a seasoned socialite.

“What!” I couldn’t help but clench my fists.

“Your self-righteous bragging to Dr. Gates didn’t protect Na. If you had listened to the experts from the beginning, Na would be safe inside the medical center. And you’re trying to put the blame on Dr. Gates by making unfounded assumptions. That’s not how decent people should think.”

“If the doctor is innocent, I’ll apologize. But the only place left to look that hasn’t been searched is here. So the chances of Na being here are high.”

I lied. The rest of the place is still being searched, only no news has come in yet. But that statement, it seemed to have some effect on Irena.

“Really? The elimination method turned out to be your basis!” Aerina thought for a moment and looked at my face.

“I know. Please go in and look for it! In fact, the doctor isn’t here to prepare for the evacuation, so he’ll be angry if I open the door, and if I don’t let you in, it looks like you won’t die…?”

“Excuse me!!!”

“No, medical treatment of the psyche is my job too.” Aerina said and opened the door.

The medical center, filled with the smell of medicine, which I hated. Irena turned on the electric lights and the inside brightened up.

There are all sorts of medical instruments set up all over the place.

“Hold out your hand for a second.” Without waiting for a response, Aerina sat me down on the bed and took my pulse.

“In a state of high arousal!!!”

Nosy! It was tempting to yell at her like that, but she was indeed right.

“I’m clear as a bell. It takes a lot to calm you down. …because the room inside holds Chrissy’s remains. You can’t enter it.” Irena asserted in a doctor-like tone.

“So, please drink this first!” Aerina took a bottle of mineral water from the refrigerator next to the drug store, then deftly poured it into a paper cup.

…seeing that paper cup gave me a marvelous feeling.

“Don’t worry, it hasn’t been used. Or don’t you have the guts to drink it?”

I guessed it. It’s a urine test cup. Irena was teasing me like a mother-in-law bullying her daughter-in-law. I wasn’t going to lose to her, so I drank it all in one gulp.

“? Is this expired? It’s so bitter!”

“Bitterness is what helps, that’s a special potion.” Aerina clicked her tongue and grinned. An elephant-lizard grin.

“What… well!”

“Poof! Poof! Plop!” Shocks raced through my body. The sound of pulsing shoulders filled my ears and my body burned.

“What do you… make me… drink…”

“Don’t worry, it’s not poison. It’s medicine that will make you comfortable.”

Not even a hint of teenage innocence could be seen on Aerina’s expression. Her hands undid my pants and I couldn’t even resist. My body didn’t obey, and I was just pinned down on the bed by her. The lower half of my body was stripped bare by her all at once.

“Ouch, it’s swollen like that. There is a need for treatment.”

Irena’s cold hand gripped my manhood. Stabs of intense pleasure hit the pith of my brain.

“Comfortable, right? The sensuality here has gone up too, you know?”

“How… would you know…”

“Gee, yeah? How about this?” After Aerina finished speaking, she started wrapping her tongue around my man-root.

“Umm… ah…” The tip of the tongue stimulated the tip of the male root.

“It smells like love juice oh! Who did you sleep with? Makoto? Reiko? Or Cheryl?” A sadistic smirk surfaced in Aerina’s pleasant demeanor.

“It’s going to take a lot to sterilize you.” Irena took my manhood, in one gulp, into her mouth.

The dense tongue and pressure stimulated the rod. Irena’s tongue skills were much more advanced than Chrissy’s. My mind leaked into a pink color. My body was enveloped in floating sensations, feeling only the pleasure coming from my man-root.

Bastard!

I tried desperately to resist the waves of pleasures, but it was just a waste of energy. My abdomen blazed like a burn.

“Ummm! … oohhh, uhhh!!!”

The pleasure exploded out, and the man-root jerked violently, spewing out semen in a voluminous gust.

“It tastes a little bland.” Aerina drank it down deliciously, smiling sweetly at me.

Although I had only just ejaculated, my saliva-covered manhood was once again hard and pointing to the sky. I realized right away that it was the drugs.

“The fun starts now…” said Eirina, putting her hand under her skirt and pulling down her panties.

“You, what are you going to do…”

“Yo, don’t you get it when you read it?”

She pulled one foot out of her panties and crawled onto the bed. Then sat on her knees over my head, her tiny pussy pressing into my face. It had been flooding there for a long time.

“Remember not to shave your beard off next time, Al.”

After rubbing her flesh against my face an unknown number of times, she stood up and moved toward my rod.

“Dicks are the most honest. It’s hard and hot. Just come and have fun!”

Irena sank her back against my manhood with a “plop”.

“Umm… ah… ah…”

The rough-feeling walls of hot flesh clamped down on my man-root. Aerina sheathed my rod, rocking her hips fiercely and rhythmically. I ejaculated inside Airena. The mixture of nectar and semen foamed and wrapped around the man-root. But it wasn’t over yet.

“Ahhhh, it’s still throbbing… shoot more… shoot more.”

My rod fires again and again, but all but shrivels up.

“No, no, not yet. Harder, more…”

In a white-colored consciousness, Irena’s voice slowly drifted away…

When I opened my eyes, there was a dimness around me.

“Appointment with Kasumi… Oooooh!”

When I stood up, the whole headache was unbearable. Probably a side effect of that potion. I barely managed to hold up my heavenly body and put on my long pants.

“It’s already ten…” I looked at my watch while pressing my temples.

At this point, Kasmi would be waiting for me in the first hangar. I dragged my heavy body towards the hangar.

Chapter 8: Destiny

The sea breeze felt so much more soothing to my aching, splitting head. I was sweating all over and dragging my feet with great effort. The opposite of eager, walking slower than a turtle. It took me over an hour of desperate walking. Passing through the dormitory on the way, all the windows were blacked out.

“Damn it!” I lashed out at Aerina, who wasn’t here, with my stupid self.

Finally, we got to the first hangar. Unlike the reserve hangar, it was dark inside.

I didn’t know what to do but pick up the emergency light and head inside.

“Silvia, Kasmi… where are you?”

Two people in Silvia’s room? Or was it the control area? I walked deeper into the room by the light from the lamps and the light coming in through the small windows.

“This… this smell, is…”

The pungent smell of iron irritates my nostrils. Before yesterday, there had been no such smell of the heart. I know what gives off this smell. It’s the smell of blood.

I panicked and looked around again. There wasn’t even an emergency exit light on in the hangar. Someone cut the power on purpose. If it wasn’t for that, there’s no way the hangar, with its control facilities, would have stopped functioning.

“Silvia! Kasmi!” I brushed aside my bad feeling and rushed inside.

Sure enough, my hunch was right. Of course, this time I didn’t want to be right. The light from the illuminator reflected a pool of crimson blood, and Kasmi, who had sunk into it. Silvia had collapsed beside her.

“Kasmi!” I don’t care if I get blood on me, I help Kasmi up.

“Ai, Al… it’s too slow… I think it’s too late…” she was very weakened, with only one breath left.

I saw the knife stabbed into her abdomen. She must have been in pain, but it would have bled profusely if I pulled it out. I couldn’t do that so as not to make her chances of surviving zero.

“Kasmi, who did this?”

“… I don’t know. Suddenly… the lights dimmed…” Kasmi looked up weakly.

“It doesn’t matter, stop talking. It’s not good for your health…”

But Kasmi gazed into my eyes and caressed my breast with a trembling hand.

“I will die… I know better than anyone… and…”

“Don’t say anything stupid! Don’t worry, you’ll be fine.”

Her face was pale and breathless. I put my own fingers and held them to hers.

“Even if I get better… I have less than a month to live…”

“What did you say!”

“My body… is… eroded by genetics…” Two quotes of tears slipped down Kasmi’s cheeks.

“I… I can’t forgive Prof. Stella… for having such advanced technology and knowledge… even if she couldn’t save me… she could have saved millions of human beings… but she… used it for military purposes…”

“I know, stop saying that.”

“Even though I couldn’t do it… she was… so hateful…”

I realized my judgment was wrong. She wasn’t assigned to sabotage as a family member trusted by the chairman. She must have come of her own free will. The Chairman, who knew that she didn’t have long to live, must have tried to stop her. However, she still came (DESIRE). Even if she burns out her last torchlight, she will stop the foolishness of (DESIRE).

“That’s why, in the airplane, you said I didn’t have an eye for people.”

On the plane, I said to her, “In five years, you’ll be a beautiful woman.” I was blind. Kasmi couldn’t wait five years.

“But at that time… I was happy. Because someone… imagined me in five years.”

“Ç… I stand corrected. It doesn’t take five years. You’re already a beautiful woman.” After I wrapped my arms tightly around Kasmi, I laid her across the floor.

At that moment, a light emanated from the hangar entrance. The emergency exit lights started flashing red. Somebody hooked up the power, I guess!

“Yo? Sorry to bother you guys.” Aerina’s figure emerged from the light. Slowly, Aerina approached without caring.

“Al, you terrorist who helped the murderer Kasmi.”

“Irena! You did this!”

“It will turn out that you did it yo. Besides, you’re the one who told me you were meeting here. Don’t try to pass the buck.”

“And the potion, does it also have a whitening agent in it?”

Aerina laughed. I probably guessed right.

“Want to kill me, do you? It’s not that easy! I have a lot more to answer for!”

In the light, Aerina’s pupils glowed fiery red. She should be like Kris, no ordinary human. I could glimpse canine teeth from the mouth of the maniacally laughing Irena. My opponent was an Enhanced Human, and I was a patient who was almost half paralyzed from the effects of the drug. It was clear to me that I had no chance of winning.

“Be a good boy and die!” Aerina’s figure suddenly disappeared into the darkness.

“Where are you looking? This way this way.”

Hoo thunk! I panicked and moved, but couldn’t dodge.

“Guwah!” I bent over in order to endure the excruciating pain, and received another one of Aerina’s hand slashes in my back.

‘Uh-oh…’ I clutched my stomach and collapsed on the floor. There was no way to even fight back.

“It wouldn’t hurt to let you die like this, but if the cause of death is suspected, it’s better to blow up…”

Aerina threw the immobilized me out and pressed a button on the wall. There was a mechanical clicking sound and the iron door fell on my back.

“Woo!!!” I struggled like a cockroach that had been trampled by a slipper.

“Hmph, just in time so you can watch the bomb’s chronograph turn to zero minute by minute.”

With the sound of ticking, the LCD numbers continue to decrease. When the number turns to zero, that’s when I die.

“Then take your time and enjoy the remaining three minutes of your life!” A subdued smile appeared on Aerina’s face.

Kasumi was seriously injured and dying, Silvia was unconscious, and I was… Aryna was in a strong position. I tried to think of a way to fight back, but I couldn’t come up with anything.

“Bye, Al!” She threw a flying kiss at me before leaving the bomb behind and heading off.

“Oooh…” I twisted my body to get away from the iron door, but it didn’t help at all. The idea of rescuing Kasumi and Silvia in any case… was only in my head.

“Él…” I turned around in a panic. Kasmi was struggling desperately to get up.

“Kasmi, what are you doing! Don’t move!”

She ignored my attempts to stop her. Enduring the excruciating pain, Kasmi held the wall with her hand and moved step by step towards the switch. Then, just like when it fell, the iron door rose with a clicking sound.

“Kasmi!”

A long, bright red trail of blood trailed down the wall. Kasmi’s body, contrary to the iron door, slowly slid down by the wall. I rushed to Kasmi’s side.

“Hurry… save Silvia…”

“I know.”

“There’s no time… take Silvia away…”

I nodded quietly and picked up Silvia.

“Kasmi, I will absolutely come back to save you. So…”

“… I’ll wait here.”

Time was closing in relentlessly, second by second. I knew, and Kasmi knew, that it would be impossible to come back for her in the time remaining.

“Hurry…”

Urged on by Kasmi, I picked up Silvia on my back and ran outside. I clenched my teeth tightly. I hate to wake up from this nightmare immediately.

“…Goodbye, Al.”

Before the explosion and the blast of wind hit me, I felt that I heard her saying goodbye… II,

“Still alive… what a dog’s luck.”

The first words I heard after regaining consciousness had a slightly bored tone. I ignored the sharp pain throughout my body and opened my eyes wide. This wasn’t a hangar, but the middle of a room that hadn’t been seen before.

“You’re… Kyle!”

The man in front of me didn’t react at all. I quickly stood up, clenching my fists and pulling away from Kyle.

“That’s enough, isn’t it? I don’t want revenge for that incident in the waiting room.” Kyle seemed to have no intention of attacking and spread his hands.

“I said me and you, not the enemy.” Kyle sat down crumpled. Beside him lay Silvia.

“Don’t worry! She’s fine.”

“Did you save us? …”

“Sort of! Drink it, it’ll make you feel better.”

Kyle handed me a brandy. I suspected for a split second that it was poison; but took it anyway. If he wanted to kill me, he could do it anytime.

“┅・・Hey, is Kasmi inside the hangar?”

Before answering, take a sip of dry brandy. There was a burning sensation, but it was unexpectedly pleasant.

“Yeah?” Kyle understood from the way I looked. After saying that, he also took a drink.

“Then I’m unemployed.”

“Unemployed?”

Instead of answering, Kyle pulled out a file folder with documents and gave it to me. It had the virus research report written on it, and the words “Extreme Secret” in red.

“It was Kasmi who planned the sabotage, and I was the one who carried it out. In order not to be suspected, preparations began months ago.”

“Yeah?” I push my empty glass toward Kyle. Kyle fills the glass with brandy for me.

“But I’m ashamed of this job. Both bosses are dead. Kasumi was so bad, if she had taken me with her…” After mocking himself, Kyle downed the remaining brandy in one gulp.

“She said to give this to you in case something goes wrong. Want it?”

Kasmi had expected to be killed, I guess! I nodded my head vigorously.

“This won’t work for me anymore. Take it all together!”

“This?” I picked up the file folder Kyle had tossed over.

It says [results of data cross-referencing]. There was only one line of text in it. But this one line of text gave me a great shock.

–Miss Grass, the DNA collected from the hair of Dr. Ghez that you sent me has been matched to the DNA of Professor Gustav Stratovic. Professor Gustav Stratovic’s DNA.

Dr. Gates, after all, is Professor Stratovic, who is supposed to be dead. That’s what Reiko was talking about when she said she was comparing the data.

“Kyle, Ms. Kusama is Reiko, right? Wouldn’t it be better to hand it over to her in person?” I’m going to give the file back to him, but he has no intention of accepting it.

“Didn’t I tell you? Both bosses are dead.”

“┅This joke is not funny.”

“I don’t joke about death.” Kyle said coldly as he opened another bottle of whiskey.

“Reiko was killed. It was engineered as a suicide. By tomorrow at the latest, you and Reiko will be announced as the main perpetrators of the terrorist act. Or Kasmi’s murderers.”

“How do you know she didn’t kill herself?”

“Simple as that. That Reiko, there’s no way in hell she’d shoot herself in the proud face.” Kyle frowned, setting the whiskey at his feet.

“Reiko, was killed by a bullet through her forehead.”

“¡¡Yes?” I gulped down the remaining brandy in my glass.

Reiko and Kyle meet on the beach for what must be a data comparison. Reiko is shocked by the professor’s confession and begins to wonder if someone is forcing the professor to do research. It turns out that the most suspicious person is Dr. Gates.

If I had told Reiko about the conversation between Kasumi and Chris, she would have realized the truth right away. That is, by “Professor”, Chris meant the truth about Professor Stratovic. If we had known who the enemy was, both Reiko and Kasumi would have survived. I bit my lip without saying a word, and smelled the iron odor of blood.

“What’s it going to be? Revenge? I’ll give you a gun if you need one.”

“Don’t need that kind of stuff. I’m armed.”

“I thought you were unarmed.”

I didn’t answer. Even if I had, Kyle wouldn’t have understood. A journalist has a journalist’s weapon. And he wouldn’t understand that it was more powerful than a sword. Kasmi would have wanted me to do the same.

“Okay! Do as much as you can! I’m with you.”

Kyle’s implication was that he wouldn’t assist me anymore. Since the head is dead, I can’t blame him anymore.

“Then this room can be lent to you. It will be much safer than your quarters.”

“What about you?”

“Go and have one last lukewarm moment with some beautiful woman! Luckily I have plenty of candidates.” Kyle smiled wickedly.

“I’m leaving. I’ll see you again someday if you don’t die.” Kyle put on his jacket and walked out of the room.

I immediately took my notebook out of my pocket, picked up the intercom and pressed the number.

‘Hello?’

“Cheryl, are you okay!”

Relieved, I told Cheryl where I was. When I put the microphone back, a sober Silvia was glaring at me.

“Please don’t call other women names when their eyes are open, okay?”

“Silvia, how is your injury?”

“Luckily the body is strong enough. But the strength of my arms was tarnished. For failing to protect Kasmi…”

Silvia bowed her head darkly.

I have no doubt at all that Silvia fought with all her might. It’s the other side that’s being mean.

“Don’t say such things.” I hug Silvia tenderly.

As a result, both Cheryl and Silvia failed to find Na. I told them what had happened up to that point in time without hiding anything.

“Don’t have to think about it. Na inside the medical center.”

“It’s infuriating, but I agree with Silvia.”

I’m certainly in favor of the same.

Three,

When! I cracked the glass of the medical center as hard as I could.

“Al, can’t see you being so rough.”

“It varies from time to time, and from object to object.” I reached in and opened the door.

Inside the medical center, it was dark. Just as Irena had done, I turned on the light switch.

“It seems like no one’s there.” Cheryl looked like she was on a haunted house adventure.

“No one alive…” I said as I opened the door to the room inside.

Behind the door is what looks like an operating room. Inside are three stretchers with three large black bags above them.

“Could this be?” Cheryl gulped. It must have contained objects such as she had imagined. I left the two of them behind and stepped into the operating room.

The first bag, containing the hardened remains of Chris.

“… Chrissy. “

Her left eye became hollow, staring eerily at the ceiling. Although she belonged to the position of victimization, she was poisoned by Prof. Stratovic and became a sad victim. I prayed for a blessing for her and pulled the bag closed.

In the second pouch, contained Reiko. The earrings and necklace, defiled by blood spurting from her forehead and ears.

“┅Forgive me. If I tell you the truth…”

This kind of death is not for Reiko. She wouldn’t choose to die this way either. The hole that burst open in her forehead took away her beauty, and there’s no way she wouldn’t have cared. I’m sure Kyle was right about Reiko being killed.

I said goodbye to Reiko and pulled open the third bag. Inside the bag, there should be Kasumi’s scattered broken limbs. However, it wasn’t Kasumi who confronted me with the determination to open it.

“ERINA…”

Contained inside, was Aerina with a pained expression, her body was still warm, and although her complexion had darkened, I wouldn’t be able to mistake that face as I pulled the bag to the very bottom. There were countless stab wounds remaining on Airena’s remains. I’m afraid that was caused by a scalpel.

“Is it poison? …”

Irena’s throat bore the finger marks of a death grip. Judging by the bleeding, the scalpel was stabbed postmortem, not as a direct cause of death.

“The murder weapon needs to be disposed of after use!”

Taking Na and blowing up Kasmi, she’s done her job.

“Goodbye, Irena.”

I zip up the bag one at a time. She was in the same category of victims as Chrissy, I guess! But I don’t want to pray for her. Because she kidnapped Na, attacked Cheryl and Silvia, and took the lives of Kasumi and, I’m afraid, Reiko. There’s no reason to mourn such a hateful person. However, I at least retained the decency not to spit in her face.

There were no other bags for the body. I sincerely thank God that I was able to avoid the most horrific situation – coming face to face with Na’s body. But I hadn’t saved Na yet. I looked up at the sky and said to myself.

“For the first time in my life, I’m praying to you. Please protect Na. If anything happens to Na…” I clenched my fists, “you are not my god, and I will never trust you again.”

I knew I would be punished by God, but it was from my heart. I shook my head and looked into the room inside. There came the sound of shivering.

” Na!” Hurriedly, I turn the door handle and pull it inward, but it won’t open. I calm down and push it outward.

“What’s… what’s going on?” When I opened the door, I was stunned by the unexpected sight.

Prof. Stratovic, who was supposed to be the black sheep of the incident, fell in the center of the room with blood on his head. There was no weapon beside him, so I’m afraid the murderer had already taken it with him!

‘There are murderers other than Aerina…’ I looked at the professor again.

Underneath the professor’s body was an alchemist’s son that I knew very well. It was as if I was drawn to it. Panicked, I pulled the refining strip out.

“Sure enough, Na’s here!” As I expected, there’s a charm without a picture attached to the end of the purificator. This is something I gave to Na. Na was here.

“Al! It’s not good!” With the sound of snapping footsteps, Cheryl ran into the room. Her eyes widened for a split second when she saw the fallen professor, and she immediately grabbed my wrist again and continued talking. “There’s light at the Institute…”

“Will it be Makoto or Professor Stella who stays behind to deal with the aftermath?”

Cheryl shook her head.

“I was just looking out and noticed that the lights in the lab suddenly came on. That’s an unusual time!”

“The lab glows?” I got a very bad feeling.

“Go to the lab! Na is 80% there!” I took Cheryl and Silvia and ran to the lab.

“Oi? The electronic lock was opened?”

Shirley, who was trying to open the lab door with her ID card, cocked her head as if she couldn’t figure it out. The card reader didn’t respond, and with a push of her hand, the door moved.

“What’s wrong with saving yourself the trouble?” Silvia pushed the heavy door open bit by bit.

“You’re thinking too simply. If the alarm device is activated…”

“There’s no one. Even the security staff has escaped.” After saying that without caring, Silvia walked into the lab.

“Don’t touch… Silvia, where are you touching!” Cheryl, who had walked into the lab after receiving Silvia, exclaimed. I hurriedly followed suit.

The entire wall turns red. Every computer screen constantly flashed texts such as Danger, Emergency Closure, or Overload or Explosion. There were also screens showing timers.

“I didn’t touch anything. I just wanted to touch it… because it was strange…” Silvia blushed like a child caught in the act of playing a prank. Cheryl ignored her and sat down in front of the computer.

“¿… how? Al, it’s not good!” Cheryl said to me, pointing at the screen filled with cosmic language-like marks.

“This is the first time that the control area under construction has been overloaded with this kind of information! If this rampage continues… it won’t take more than 20 minutes before the critical level is breached and a massive explosion occurs!”

“How big is it?”

Cheryl calculated the energy. “A radius of five kilometers centered here will be wiped out!!!”

A five-kilometer radius of total annihilation! I didn’t realize things were this serious.

“And a part of the staff stay in the dormitory!”

“I suppose so.” Cold sweat broke out on Cheryl’s face.

“All will die if they don’t flee. Silvia!”

“Ah, you, you called me?” Silvia looked at me as if she was wide awake.

“You said last time you had a pilot’s license, is that true?”

“It’s true. And I graduated from flight school. What for?”

“Can you fly a transporter?”

It’s as if you heard me. Silvia nodded vigorously.

“Just being prepared. To have you ready for takeoff in case of an emergency.”

“I see. …You two, run away if you realize you can’t stop!” After Silvia finished speaking, she ran out in the direction of the hangar.

“Cheryl!”

“I know!” Cheryl was already sitting in front of the computer, getting it going.

If she can stop the rampage, or slow it down, the (DESIRE) remaining staff (and us) can escape. The responsibility was great, but it was nothing to Cheryl, who had already figured out the direction of her life. I nodded admiringly.

“Al, go ahead and wait on top of the transporter.”

“No way. Na must be there.”

Cheryl understood what I meant. Took a deep breath and looked at me.

“The place where Na will be… should be the innermost lab area. This is where the fusion of genes takes place.

There’s a big hole in the center where you should never go near. Now what kind of radiation is staggered and scattered in that center can be imagined.”

“I see, I’ll be careful!” I left Cheryl behind and ran towards the giant egg-shaped reactor towering over the lab.

Inside the dome, as I had imagined (DESIRE), there was a sci-fi movie-like setup. Looking back at photos of other research centers around the world, I can’t think of anything like this.

“Made especially for this experiment? …”

I was a little intrigued, but I couldn’t stop because finding Nat was more important than anything else. There must be someone in there, and I’m afraid they’re with Na. That person definitely took Na from the professor in order to experiment on her. There aren’t many people involved in behind-the-scenes research in (DESIRE). Moreover, there are even fewer people who can freely manipulate the equipment.

I had a clue about the killer, but didn’t want to believe it. Gritting my teeth, I opened the door to the lab area. But, standing next to the huge vertical cave that was emitting a strange light, was her.

“It’s you!” I stared angrily at the woman with Na.

“Al… whatever I say to you, it’s probably not going to work anymore!” Ms. Machina Stradivich Prof. Stratovic looked at me with sad eyes. The pistol in her hand was aimed at my chest.

“Ah, Al! Sis really called you here!”

” Nat, are you alright!” I ignored the pistol and immediately ran to Na’s side.

“Eh! Sis saved Na from the scary old man!” Na smiled innocently and ran towards me as well. She trusted Professor Stella to stay by her side for so long, I guess!

“Professor Stella, I admire you, there must be a misunderstanding somewhere in all this!”

The reality that I didn’t want to believe unfolded before my eyes. I knew that the professor was the most suspicious, but somewhere in my heart, I still trusted her. Because she had some kind of power that made me believe. But reality shattered my naivety.

“I’m all for Na’s happiness. She won’t be happy if she keeps this up.”

“What nonsense! There’s no happiness in human experimentation! Can you call it happiness when you turn out like Aerina and Chrissy!?” My emotions burst open and I roared at her. Because Na’s pure trust was trampled on by her.

“That kind of happiness is something I don’t share! Shoot if you want to!”

I grabbed the barrel of the gun and held it against my chest. A shuddering sensation came over the cold, hard metal.

“Why are you crying?”

Professor Stella shed a tear. The tears that slid down her cheeks wet her hand that was holding the gun. I was a bit puzzled as I watched the tears falling like raindrops.

“Only now, shedding tears of regret?”

“Al, I just hope you understand.”

“No kidding. How can one understand the crooked reasoning of that kind of scientist!” I couldn’t accept her argument. She actually wanted me to understand the reasoning behind remodeling Na!

“I can’t understand it either!” By the entrance to the experimental area came the voice of an angry man.

“…Gustav!!!”

The fourth man on the stage, with blood pouring from his head. Prof. Gustav Stradovic. Prof. Stradovic, approached us with his pistol raised.

“Hmph, trying to pounce only leads to death.” Gustav guessed what I was thinking and stopped at a certain distance.

“Machina, are you mesmerized by this man? How dare you get in the way of my great experiment… You’re just a woman after all!?” The voice became agitated and high-pitched. Gustav’s eyes showed a frantic look. His bloodshot eyes opened wide and he glared at me fiercely.

I stare back at the maniac in front of my eyes.

“You call the development of bioweapons, a great experiment!”

“An insignificant little person like you will not understand my grand and growing plans! and the agonies of my genius! Do you think I developed it because of my own preferences?”

“It’s ridiculous. The result is everything. The fact that you developed a weapon is something that nothing can be said to hide.”

Gustav trembled with rage and turned his gun toward me.

“Nature will bear everything! Including everything I created! And the death caused by the virus! Because mankind, as well as nature, are created by Me! I allowed all of this!” Arrogant, trite and comical words, coming from his mouth.

“How dare the man who disguises his death speak out!” At my derision, his expression became sad.

“That was forced. Those fools don’t understand my great creation. Not only that, but to take sacred research from my hands. I hid my research from their eyes and let Machina inherit it from me. While conducting military weapon development to fulfill those people’s desires.”

“You even killed your daughter to continue your own research!”

“Creation is dependent on the whims of the Creator for its existence. Even though it was only admitted to Machina after the fact, she understands.” He said it with extreme ease.

“Machina, are you going to manipulate this kid’s genes to bring back the dead Na? I can help you!”

“I don’t have that kind of intention. No matter what I do, the dead child will not come back…” said Prof. Stella’s voice, filled with hatred.

I can see that. She hated Gustav for killing her daughter. But she still helped him because she still loved Gustav too…

“Nothing like that. Nothing is impossible in my research!!!” Spraying flying  around his mouth, Gustav screamed furiously. He seemed to have gone mad.

“Do you think you’re a god?”

“Thought? I am the Creator… I am God. Therefore, killing you, the fly that is so offensive, is also a divine instruction. My great research must not be known to those people, as well as nuisance.”

“So you killed Kasmi and Reiko!”

“That’s right there will always be Godless fools like Judas in this world.” He laughed so maniacally that he even let me spy the gums.

Is Kasmi a fool for trying to stop military research? Was Reiko, who discovered his true identity and tried to protect Professor Stella, a fool? I know the answer. The answer is no!

“Those words are enough of a memento to send you off to the underworld. You are also sad. If a few more months had passed, all your interviews could have been answered.” Zhamstaff finished and pointed his gun at me.

“Machina, don’t worry. The medical center has samples of this man. Create one for you next time.”

The fingers on the trigger moved. I hugged Nat tightly and slowly closed my eyes.

! Gunshots echoed through the experimental area.

“Idiot!!!” Following the gunshot was Gustav’s voice. Soft hair, brushing against my face.

“Prof. Sh… Stella! Why!”

“Ai… Al… even if, captured by the spiral of destiny, even if I will be drowned in the cycle of reincarnation forever… I…”

It was almost like a slow-motion replay, with time flowing slowly, slowly. Saffron-like blood oozed from the chest of Professor Stella, who had fallen into the glowing vertical cave. I desperately put my hand out. For a split second, fingers touched fingers. But no more miracles occurred.

“El…” Na hugged me tightly. I couldn’t say anything to her.

“Women are stupid creatures. It seems necessary to create them smarter.” Gustav turned his smoking gun toward me. To this man incarnated as a god, killing his wife was not something to be regretted.

Step by step, Gustav forced his way in. We were forced to move backward, little by little.

“What’s up? No way back yo!?”

I clenched my fists. Professor Stella was still dead because of me, and I cursed the powerlessness of my inability to fight back while I was at it.

“You are not forgiven for obstructing the research.” Gustav’s fingers snapped on the trigger.

I was forced to choose between the two. To be shot, or… Cheryl’s voice rang in my head.

“Woohoo!”

It doesn’t even have to be a choice. My foot slipped and I fell into the vertical cave. Na jumped in with me. Unlike Professor Stella, I was able to grab hold of Na’s hand. Green light surrounded us. Hot and cold… wonderful sensations seeped into my body.

! ! In the midst of fading consciousness, I heard gunshots.

“Am I… dead?”

What entered my vision upon opening my eyes was the metal ceiling. It’s too damning for heaven. In other words, this is hell?

“Al! Are you okay?”

It’s probably not hell! Na, who was looking at my face worriedly, proved it. There’s no way she’s going to hell.

“┅Here, yes, in the reactor.”

I got up and looked around. I couldn’t tell because the light had disappeared, but I was finally able to confirm it by seeing the equipment on the wall.

“Al… there’s no one on this island.”

“Not a soul?” I climbed up the steps used for maintenance.

“Cheryl?”

There was no one in the lab. I don’t know if the power is not connected, but the computer screen is black.

“Did it go for shelter?” I walked out of the institute.

“In the end…”

The sky was a patch of gray. I thought it was shielded by clouds, but realized I was wrong. It was a gray sky without even a small cloud.

“El…” Na’s expression showed her unease.

“Let’s race back to the dorm, maybe there’s someone there.” I cheered up Nat.

” Na has been everywhere, not a soul.”

I was probably out for quite a long time!

“Yeah? Not bad for Na, so smart.” I stroked her head, almost messing up her hair.

“It’s too much, Al~”

“Sorry, sorry, this is for you as a palliative.” I take the pendant I picked up at the medical center out of my pocket.

“This was supposed to be Nat’s!” But Na was happy to wear it around her neck.

“Indeed it is yours, it suits you well!!!”

“Heh heh heh!!!” Na smiled happily.

“Then, Your Majesty, return to our lovely home!”

“Eh!” I take Na and start walking to the dorms.

Presumably, we were abandoned when we escaped! Since we fell into the reactor, it’s only natural that we were abandoned. But there’s no way the consortium would abandon these facilities. If they knew the island hadn’t sunk, they would have sent an investigation team.

It must not take long to be saved. I thought it would be too easy.

Chapter 9 – Fantasy

One,

Six years have passed since that day. (DESIRE) that may have been shed. In six years, not even an airplane has passed overhead. I sighed as I looked at the sky that hadn’t cleared once in six years.

Living without electricity or gas is hard, but I’ve gotten used to it. I sat on the beach and patiently lowered my fishing rod. Piles of emergency food and fish caught in the sea are the staple food for me and Na. If I hadn’t been with Na, I would have gone crazy a long time ago. As several years have passed without any change but waiting for help, my proud daughter is now studying in the professor’s room.

Nana explored the large number of books left by the professor and learned all sorts of things on her own. In the beginning, I was able to answer her questions, but about two years ago, I completely surrendered. If you want to be Na’s rival, you have to have knowledge like Cheryl or Makoto.

Na is now studying Professor Stella’s theory of hyperdimensionality. According to her, the mutations that occurred in (DESIRE) can all be explained by this theory. A while ago, she stayed at the institute almost all the time except for meals and sleeping hours, and I was worried that she had reached a rebellious stage, but she was concentrating on the Transdimensional Theory in order to break away from (DESIRE).

“Al~, did you catch it~?”

Speak of the devil. Na is walking towards me. Waist-length hair, swaying up and down in high spirits. Like her hair, she has also grown in height. It’s natural for children to grow up, but I’m happy to see Na grow taller, and I even carved her height on the dormitory wall to keep track of it.

“Not at all. Didn’t even catch one today!”

“I told you to leave it to me in the morning!”

“Hahaha, it’s finally that day!”

“What the hell, it’s like that every day, isn’t it?”

Na hugged my back. Although it’s a habit that I’ve developed since I was a child, Na doesn’t care about it and leans her breasts against my back. Nana, who has grown up to be 18 years old, has a mature body and emits a sweet scent.

” Na!”

“What is it?”

“You’re old enough to stop that kind of behavior.”

“Why?”

I couldn’t blame Na How can I say something like, “Don’t do it because it makes me horny.

For six years, I lived a life of continual abstinence. I think I was able to tolerate it.

Nana has grown into a very attractive girl. With her sensual face, full breasts, slim waist and bouncy hips… if I met her on the road, I’d definitely try to pick her up. Of course… It’s a bit strange to say this, but I’ve dreamed of making love to her many times. And the urge often boiled up inside me. However, my self-consciousness as a father suppressed the urge time and again.

‘It’s almost time to sleep in separate rooms.’

I suggested it many times, but Na was adamant. Because she’s afraid to be alone. Now that she’s said that, I can’t force her.

“Al you’re so strange. …ah, the button fell off again, let’s sew it for you again!”

Na crouched in front of me and pinched the jacket button that Cheryl had gotten rid of and sewed it back on with pink thread.

“By the way, Na picked up something interesting oh! I’m sure you know what it is.”

Thud! “That hurt!” Na’s head jerked upward and hit my jaw.

“Are you okay?”

Na pressed her hand against her head.

“… I couldn’t even hit it before. Na has become an adult too!”

“Yes… you have grown up too. And then there’s only the growth of the mind left.” I looked at Na with a lot of emotions.

“Always treating people like children…” Na pouted. I poked her cheek with my finger.

“By the way, what’s the fun stuff?”

“Uh, I found this. It’s totally different from Al’s, but it’s a camera, too!”

What Na held in her hand was the instant camera sold in the landscape.

“Wow, there’s still such a thing! Ah, there’s one negative left.”

I scrutinized the camera. It was a cheap camera, but much more expensive than my monocular camera with no negative.

“It really is a camera, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, shoot it for you! Famous photographer Al’s skills are extraordinary!”

“Shoot it together~! It’s so boring alone.” Na gazed at me with a pouty expression.

“It’s hard to shoot this model together…”

“I want to be with Al!” Na, who was not usually too capricious, protested with some agitation.

I deftly took the camera and pulled Na towards me.

“Ah…!” Suddenly I took her hand, and Na lost her balance.

Chomp. The way it’s going to fall is captured in the negative.

“Bugger… it’s so hard to get the negatives!”

“It doesn’t matter… when we’re rescued, we can take as many pictures as we want.”

“¡¡Yes!” Na’s expression turned somber. Yesterday, when the sky turned dark, Na had this look on her face several times.

” Na, not feeling well?”

“No!!!” After simply saying that, Na stood up with vigor.

“I’m going to do some more reading, so go to bed!”

I was relieved to see Na running away. …it looks like I’ll be able to get a good night’s sleep tonight.

Two,

“Al… Al… Hey, Al…” someone called me. It was Na. I closed my eyes and lifted a corner of the sheet.

” Na, it’s not good for your beauty if you don’t go to bed soon!”

“Eh!!!” Na sighed and burrowed into the sheets.

“Al… Promise me one thing, okay?”

“What’s the matter all of a sudden!”

Na didn’t say anything and grabbed my hand toward her leg. Prickly, my hand met hairs.

” Na! You’ll catch a cold if you don’t sleep in your underwear!” I panicked and jumped out of bed.

“Al… hold me. Please, hold me!” Na sat up, the sheet slipping from her body.

” Na!!!”

The light coming in from the window illuminated her body. A shadow fell between the furrows of her plump, swollen bosoms.

The soft, detailed texture enveloped my retinas.

“Please, Al…” Without hiding it, Na slowly got out of bed and walked over to me.

“Don’t be impulsive… if you’re impulsive…”

I couldn’t say anything else. Because Nat leaned her body against me. Pinned down by her weight, my t-shirt clings to my chest. The sweet scent that stimulates my nostrils.

“Al, you want to have sex with Nat, too…”

My manhood is already hard and erect. I want to hold Na! I want to suck on those soft breasts! I want to penetrate Nat’s warm body with my rod! I want to shoot hot semen and defile Na’s body! That’s what my body says.

“Please… hold me!”

I put my trembling hands around Na’s shoulders and… pulled her away from me.

“Don’t do anything stupid, Na…”

“I’m sorry… for giving you a hard time.”

“Not really. Because I cherish you too much.”

It’s said that once in a lifetime, every man meets a woman who doesn’t act on male instincts, but wants to be treated like a gentleman. For me, that would be Na.

“So, can I get a kiss?”

“With great pleasure.”

Na closed her eyes and waited for me. I placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

“Bugger, you keep treating me like a child…” Na, with her mouth agape, was back to being my lovely daughter.

“Because you…” I stopped again. This time, Na didn’t hug me. Instead, it was because the room suddenly became bright.

“What’s that sound…” came a loud, thunderous sound from the distance.

“┅” Without uttering a word, Na quickly put on her clothes. After finally putting the pendant around her neck, she took my hand.

“Al, let’s get to the reactor!”

“What did you say?”

“Just follow me!” Na darted out of the room. I’m at a complete loss as to what’s going on right now.

“Why all of a sudden!” I cocked my head and ran out of the dormitory after Na.

The sky brightened.

“Maybe… it’s possible to escape (DESIRE)?” With a glimmer of hope, I rushed towards the institute.

The computer screens in the lab are back up. In front of one of them, Nat is tapping away at the keyboard.

” Na, you’re amazing. Even learned how to operate the computer.”

“Ummm!!!”

As far as I know, proficiency in operating a machine is more a matter of practical experience than learning. Na who learns only from technical manuals must be a genius.

“That’ll work. Al, get to the reactor.”

“Whoo!”

With a force I’ve never seen before, Na pushed my back. Running through the zones on the way to the reactor. Snapping footsteps echoed down the corridor. Running into the reactor, Nat closed the door.

“It’s moving here too!” The reactor longitudinal point, emitting a green light.

“Al, look at the bottom and let me know if there are any changes.” Na pointed to the vertical point that was emitting a green light before standing in front of the computer next to her.

The sound of falling thunder outside is getting louder and louder. Na, who was operating the computer, came back to me.

“Al, how’s it going?”

“Umm… it seems like there’s no change.” I grabbed the edge of the vertical hole and looked inside.

“I know.”

“What?” I don’t know what that means and look back at Nat. In front of me, Nat’s hand appears.

“Whoa! What are you doing?”

Na pushed me hard. I regained my balance in the air, finally hanging on to the edge of the vertical cave.

“I’m sorry, it was all I could do.” Na gazed at me, crystallized teardrops appearing in her eyes.

“To get you back to your old world, someone has to be here to manipulate the computer.” Spilled tears dripped down my face. Na desperately flicks away my fingers that are clutching the edge.

” Na!” I braced my body with the gist of a single bar, barely sticking my head out.

“El…” Na kissed me gently on the lips.

“It doesn’t matter, we’ll definitely meet again…” said a tearful Na, surrounded by light.

” Na! No matter how far apart, I will find you!”

“… Uh-huh. I’ll wait. Make sure you remember me…”

Not only the vertical caves, but the entire reactor began to emit light. The light surrounded Na. That’s where my consciousness stopped.

Three,

My field of vision, for the second time, was the ceiling of the reactor. But it wasn’t Nat who was staring at my face.

“Makoto… I haven’t seen you in six years, but you’re still so youthful and beautiful, and you haven’t even gained any wrinkles.” I said to her in a nostalgic mood.

“Six years? What are you talking about! You fell into the reactor less than five minutes ago. The… memory is confused!”

Makoto put her hand on my forehead to take my temperature, practically treating me like a patient.

“That’s ridiculous. I did spend six years with Na in (DESIRE)! Where is Na, where is Na!?”

Makoto didn’t answer me.

” Na said we’d definitely see each other again, she wouldn’t lie!”

“Al, Nat’s dead…”

“Don’t lie to me, Makoto!”

“Al, you’re in luck. Only the remains of Professor Stella and Na, who fell inside the reactor, have been found.”

Makoto crossed her head sadly.

“Tell me, Al, why did Dr. Gates kill you?”

“The answer is in Kyle’s room, see for yourself. Has Dr. Gates escaped?”

“Shot by Kyle. Al, when did you and Kyle become good friends?”

“It’s a man’s secret.” I replied lovingly. It was all disgusting. Makoto seemed to understand, and with that reticence.

“Technical Director, the overload operation has been lifted…”

“Makoto, preparations for takeoff of the small plane are complete.”

I heard wistful voices. It was… Cheryl and Silvia.

“Ah, Al… Are you okay?”

“I heard from Shin-kyum that you’re hopeless…”

Without even giving me time to speak, the two suddenly pounced on me and hugged me tightly.

“Will you have some sense of proportion, Cheryl!”

“That’s what I should have said!”

Makoto got a bored look on his face and gave way to those two.

“Jealous! Makoto.”

“If it was three days ago, sure.” Makoto still looked annoyed.

I endured Silvia and Cheryl’s rough embrace while remembering Na who disappeared into the light.

She opened her mouth then and said something to me.

Couldn’t hear her voice, but I know what she said. I love you. That’s what Na said.

I would absolutely find Na, no matter where in the world she was. I swore to the instant camera in my jacket pocket. Tying the buttons with pink thread will definitely help me too… The Final Chapter

After that, I was busy flying around the world in my own dedicated jet.

I, who was only a journalist, was able to get such a luxurious machine power because of the super high hush money paid to me by the Grandchester Consortium. Of course, I initially refused. However, the chairman of the consortium insisted that I accept it in order to repay me for accompanying Kasumi through her journey and for ruining the hardliners’ plot. The amount of money the chairman wired into my account was several digits more than I had expected. But I didn’t say anything. Because that amount represented how much the chairman loved Kasumi.

Even though I bought a jet and have enough money left over to eat, drink and be merry for the rest of my life, I still continue to work as a journalist. I’m proud of what I do, and if I keep getting my name in the paper, I might even get Na to discover me. While I’m doing my interviews, I’m sure I’ll be traveling the world with a photo in my hand. Na would never lie to me and would be waiting for me somewhere in the world. I was convinced. But Naokane doesn’t believe it.

The distance between Makoto and I didn’t shrink as a result. Initially, we had correspondence, but suddenly there was no news. Perhaps the Consortium is considering her next assignment and has asked her not to divulge any information. According to rumors, her new place of assignment is still (DESIRE).

If it was her, she would have done her research according to Kasmi’s expectations, right?

I was in a good mood for a lonely journey that I had long been aware of.

Now, there are two excellent pilots and assistants to help me search for Na.

The beauty of it was that the duo clashed as soon as they opened their mouths, but I thanked them for that.

The name doesn’t have to be mentioned specifically, anyone can guess it.

I have met and parted with many people.

But I continue my journey.

Until the day you reunite with Na.

Chapter Zero returns to the final chapter of the Prologue ~The Long Spiral~.

Where do people come from, where do they go…?

Who was it that rescued me by the long spiral?

The one who helped me…

It won’t be long before Al gets here. My heart is so excited I can’t contain it. Al, if you don’t apply to (DESIRE) for an interview, maybe we won’t be able to see each other again. But I know you’ll come.

Yes, it is. I must write this letter at once. For the sake of the lovely Na, who will surely appear here, captured by the spiral of fate. For the sake of Na, who has been cleansed of her filthy memories and limbs, and is as white as a sheet of paper. If all is well, this letter will be of no use. But I must write it for the sake of insurance.

Write it down and put it in your book! The inquisitive Na will surely see it. I’m sure she’ll do what’s written in the letter. Because it’s a letter from the most trustworthy person in the world.

I don’t know how many times I have written… this letter. I don’t know how long I’ve waited for this moment, and, captured for the long spiral, returned here I don’t know how many times.

[Nana, read this letter with all your heart, and think carefully. When the sky darkens and the gray heavens thunder, great danger will befall you and Al. At this rate, neither will be saved. But there is no need to feel uneasy. If you are sincere for Al, do what you think is best. The result will be that the two of you will be separated. You’ll wake up in a foreign land where you don’t speak the language and you’ve never been before. But it will only be for a moment. The scientists who need your abilities will give you the opportunity to meet Al again.]

Writing is becoming more and more of a chore.

Can I give Na a future without having to read this letter? Can I save her, and myself, from the long spiral of the endless earth cycle? Can I break through the closed interdimensional wall and create a bright future for Al and Na?

In (DESIRE), you’re bound to meet Al. Just as I met Al. Here, it’s up to you to forge your own destiny…]

The text is getting fuzzy.

Tears slid down my cheeks, wetting the fallen refinery that had no pictures. Are you lamenting the fact that I met Al, but that fate was playing tricks on me? No matter how much I hoped, Al never called my name. A few tears fell, wetting the letter.

Al… You said you’d find me no matter how far away I was. I believed in your words, and that’s why I’ve lived this long. Even though I knew it was impossible, I waited for you forever… Please… pay attention to me… Na…

┅┅

I racked my strength and wrote the last line.

Go for it! Another lovely me… Machina… Nana Stradivich. Stradivich’s pen
