Chapter 1: Secret Tracking Trips

1 man stayed at the beach all day.

The men did nothing but look out over the ocean.

Sagami Bay is right under the balcony of this vacation home. After placing a canvas lounge chair on the balcony, you can lie down and look out over the deep blue sea.

This is a new type of resort villa located in the northern part of Atami on Mt. Izu, and it is a majestic eight-story building situated on the end of a mountain, far away from the busy streets of Atami, so it is full of greenery, the end of the mountain is steep, and the water of the Sagami Bay is clear and blue.

The view doesn’t get boring even if you view it every day. Even if he gets tired of looking at it or bored with it, the man has no way to go. The man is Yukiyo Tsuruta, the head of the bidding section of Roc Construction, a large construction company.

Yukiyo Tsuruta, who claimed to be on a business trip to Kyushu two weeks earlier, had in fact left Tokyo for a secret trip to Izu, and had been staying in this room facing the sea for a week, waiting for instructions from the office of the chairman of the Tokyo head office.

In other words, living a reclusive life.

To receive an order from a corporate executive to live in seclusion in this room is tantamount to house arrest for a man who loves his work.

The difference between house arrest and imprisonment is the freedom to move around the inconspicuous area, i.e., around the vacation villa, without being watched, and the fact that the company has sent a woman to accompany him, and she is also a top-quality beauty, i.e., the secretary of the chairman of the board of directors of Roc Construction. Why would the company’s number one beauty secretary be with Yukio Tsuruta for the past two weeks?

“Why the unhappy expression, what are you thinking?” Funakoshi Kasumi hugged him from behind and asked him.

In fact, Tsuruta knew very well in his heart that the reason why Funakoshi Kasumi had comforted him in seclusion, and even spied on him and was responsible for reporting his every move, was because of someone’s instructions.

The expertise required of the secretary to the chairman of Roc Construction, i.e. no matter how excessive the request is, even to accompany a man to bed cannot be refused.

“Quick! Confess! Are you thinking about your wife?” Kasumi asked in a face-to-face voice as she came around to his front and sat on Tsuruta’s lap on the recliner, pampering herself and wrapping her arms around his neck. Any closer and lips would be touching lips!

“What! No kidding!” Tsuruta replied with a laugh. “You think a master negotiator like me worries about family? I told my wife that I was going to Kyushu on a business trip, so my plain, simple, virtuous wife wouldn’t even suspect me!”

“But how do you think she’d feel if she knew you were traveling sweetly with me?”

“You and I aren’t even on a sweet trip, we’re just following the instructions of the president and chairman to avoid it for a while aren’t we?”

“But outsiders see us as a rather sweet pair of lovers traveling! Before, we were in the hot spring area of Izu, and now we’re in Atami! And the two of us are closer than lovers!” With that, she placed her right hand lightly on Tsuruta’s crotch. Then lips and lips touched each other.

While kissing Tsuruta, Kasumi’s right hand was slithering like a snake around his center of gravity, causing his blood to run cold. Tsuruta then smoothly picked up the curvy and slender Kasumi, entered the room and headed straight for the bedroom, and carried her to the bed. Both of them immediately and eagerly removed the clothes on their bodies.

In fact, the two of them once went to the top of Wushan without undressing.

And it’s been done so many times that the thrill of pleasure goes straight to your head.

When they were both naked and their bodies were interlocked, Tsuruta kissed Kasumi while his hands kneaded her breasts, and while enjoying the sensation of kneading the swollen, full breasts on his hands, he asked her, “Is it okay for you to go on this incestuous trip with a man? Because I heard you’re married!”

Tsuruta had also heard the rumor that the beautiful secretary had an underground husband, a man who seemed to be an employee of a designer’s office, and a soft touch at that.

“You don’t have to worry about me! The popular Madonna has a secret husband and a patron behind her! So lovers like you are nothing to be alarmed about!”

After hearing what Kasumi said, Tsuruta caressed Kasumi’s pretty ass while saying, “Wow! That guy is really pathetic, having to put up with you cheating outside!”

(Ugh! Who cares what others think of us!) Tsuruta muttered in his mind!

At this very moment, the beautiful secretary was lazily stretching her tantalizing limbs to her heart’s content, her ample breasts seemingly beckoning for his favor. Tsuruta’s hand traveled to her flawless belly and caressed down to the secret sanctuary covered with dark velvet hair.

While teasingly blowing lightly on its ear, sucking on Kasumi’s ear, at that moment, his hand invaded towards the black velvet-like forbidden place, while his fingers were like snakes burrowing into the deep black hole.

“AH… AH…” At this point, the female body trembled with excitement.

Kasumi’s female channel had long been warm and moist.

Spreading her legs, Tsuruta’s magician-like fingers nimbly moved in and out of that warm, wet, secret black hole.

“Aaah… Section Chief…” said Kasumi, holding Tsuruta’s head tightly.

“Hold me… tightly… again!” For Ruth Shumei, everything after that was in a nutshell.

“Right! Right! Yes!” While caressing Kasumi, Tsuruta spread her legs wide to find the best position.

When he was poised to strike, Kasumi extended her snow-white fingers and guided him to the entrance of her mysterious, dark cave.

Tsuruta, guided by her, stabbed deep into that secret black hole, burying his body in that warm, moist heaven and earth.

“AH… AH… Class Leader… You’re great…” gasped Kasumi.

Hearing her chirping, Tsuruta began to stroke inside her excitedly and squirm to his heart’s content.

At this moment, Kisumi’s snow-white breasts to her neck were flushed with excitement, her eyes were closed, her eyebrows were furrowed, her plump breasts were towering high, while her smooth and delicate abdomen was violently bumping against Tsuruta’s waist. And her nails painted with purple-red brightly colored nail polish were pinched deep into Tsuruta Kouyou’s back, and moans came out of her mouth from time to time.

Her petulant cries were sometimes high, sometimes low, sometimes high pitched, sometimes sobbing, and the source was endless.

Her head was tilted back against the pillow, and from time to time she let out, “Don’t! No!” or “Great! Good!” She was murmuring.

“Please! Don’t stop!” While wailing, he said, “Harder… harder!”

This woman really deserved to be the secretary personally trained by the president and director of the big construction company, so knowing how to put it in and out.

While Tsuruta’s waist was deepening into Kasumi, his right hand was also kneading her breasts from time to time, making her gasp loudly when he rubbed her ample breasts hard while he was rushing. From a moment ago, warm juices were already flowing from their joint.

Just then, Tsuruta’s hand wandered to Kasumi’s black velvet-like forbidden area, rubbing the core of the sensitive zone as he did so, causing her to gasp from time to time, arching her back to enjoy the extremely quick sensation. It seemed to be about to explode! Tsuruta accelerated the speed of his rhythm.

In addition to accelerating the speed of her body in and out, her hands kept rubbing the core of that sensitive zone rapidly, causing Kasumi to climb to the peak three times in a very short period of time. At that moment, Tsuruta’s body was sucked in by something, and Tsuruta also went into the highest climax. (Okay! Let’s launch!) Thinking about this, Tsuruta felt his whole body stiffen, waiting for the most passionate moment to come!

“Kasumi! I’m coming!”

“Come… come…” Both of them went to the top of Wushan at the same time.

2 The smell of passionate sweat permeated the dormitory. The two men fell asleep with their bodies pressed against each other, contentedly.

When awakened again it was sunset, with the sun reddening at sea level, but the colors deepening below the surface.

Checking my watch, I realized it was six in the afternoon!

“What’s taking the president so long to give instructions? He called here this week, didn’t he?”

“That’s right! But he said the situation can’t be seen as joyful yet, so there’s nothing you can do if you’re anxious! Hey, take a shower! Take a shower and we’ll go out to buy dinner together later! I’m going to take a shower first!” After saying that, Kisumi got out of bed and walked naked into the bathroom.

Tsuruta spread his hands out on the pillow, took a cigarette and put it in his mouth and lit it. As the cigarette smoke curled around him, he thought of his home in Tokyo and suddenly became homesick.

(Shoko, what are you doing?) When he thought of Shoko, his young wife of twenty-nine years who had yet to have children, living alone and lonely, he couldn’t help but pity her!

Several times during this period of seclusion and escape, he had thought of calling home, only to be discouraged.

And that’s because the company didn’t inform the family that he (Yukio Tsuruta) had embezzled public funds and was unaware of their whereabouts.

“Just a few more days of patience…” Tsuruta told himself in his mind.

Tsuruta, in his capacity as the head of the bidding section of Taiho Construction, a related company of Otemon Construction Company, has been working hard in the industry and the government in the past six months to win the contract for the coastal public works project, which could change the fate of the company, and has finally succeeded in winning the contract.

However, after the case was successfully awarded, some guy who had dealt with Tsuruta ratted on him, causing the Tokyo District Prosecutor’s Office to announce that it would start investigating the bidding case for any wrongdoing, and in order to avoid this, the company’s higher-ups ordered him to leave Tokyo as a matter of urgency.

“This case will probably fade away in a short time! Just bear with it a little for a while! You’ll be called back as soon as the matter is completely resolved! And after this is resolved, the board of directors will agree to promote you to Sales Director!”

He wouldn’t have wanted to hide out in this hellhole from Tokyo if the president and the directors hadn’t, in their extremely flattering voices, calmed him down and asked him to take shelter for a while! Tsuruta pressed his finished cigarette into the ashtray and put it out when the phone rang next to his pillow!

He figured it would be from the counter, so he picked up the phone without thinking.

“Hey! Hello!” Tsuruta, who was still lying on his bed, as soon as he heard the voice on the other end of the phone, immediately went “Ah!

President,” he tensed and immediately got up to look for his slippers, because the person who called was Washio, the president of the Tokyo head office.

“How about! Have you been enjoying life to the fullest?” Washio asked, still in his usual chipper voice.

“Yes! Thanks to you, I was able to fully relax my body and mind!”

“Right! What could be more comfortable than a vacation, and it looks like my careful arrangements are really working!

Isn’t Kasumi nice? Yeah! That woman is a real natural beauty! You mustn’t waste your time!”

“Ah! This…” Tsuruta frowned, a little embarrassed, “Now, has the District Attorney’s Office started an investigation?”

“Eh! An internal investigation has been launched! It’s not as superficial as originally assumed, but don’t worry, we still have Yakuoin-san’s great help! But I have one more favor to ask of you, so don’t refuse!”

“I see! Are you asking me to help distribute this bribe to the companies?”

“Although it’s very similar, it’s not taking place in Tokyo, and in order to put this incident to rest, I’d like to ask you to meet with a few important people at a certain venue!”

“Whoa! Where do I meet those characters?”

“I’m afraid it’s not convenient to say it on the phone!” Just as he finished speaking, Washio sneezed loudly, and then continued, “In an hour, my car will pick you up at the entrance of the vacation villa, and my driver, Irihimoto, will tell you in detail what you have to do and who you will meet, so just do what Irihimoto tells you to do! Understood?”

“Got it! What about Ms. Funakoshi?”

“Of course I’m riding with you! She’s still a very important woman to you, I suppose! If anything happens, just call me on the car’s cell phone and I’ll make a ruling, now get ready!”

“Yes! I’ll get right on it!”

As soon as he received the order, Tsuruta replied that he would do it immediately! And the caller continued, “For security reasons, in case someone finds out you’re at the resort, don’t go back there after you’re done for the night, and change your place! You tell the counter that you want to change to Atami’s Penglai Pavilion to stay, and then take all the luggage to check out!”

An hour later, a large, all-black, luxury Mercedes-Benz parked in front of the gate of the Izu Mountain vacation villa where the two of them had been living in seclusion, and Kouyou Tsuruta, dressed in his travel clothes and carrying his luggage, and Kasumi Funakoshi hitchhiked away in it!

The Mercedes, carrying the two men, drove along at a brisk pace, and by the time the speed slowed down, the car was already on the coastal highway beside a dark ocean! While listening to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore and the wind rustling the trees, the car turned off its red taillights in the darkness!

3 Hubby hasn’t been home for two weeks!

Tsuruta Shoko opened her eyes early in the morning and immediately glanced her head to the side. There was no sleeping husband Kouyou beside her.

He still didn’t come home this morning. In the past, when her husband traveled for a day or two, he would call home to report that he was safe in order to reassure her, but this time, he has been traveling for more than two weeks now, and she has not heard anything from him, which makes her very worried.

Shoko woke up at eight o’clock in the morning, and as soon as she got out of bed, she pulled open the window  She felt a little dizzy, and that was the result of the strong alcohol she drank last night in order to make herself fall asleep when she couldn’t sleep, I guess!

Raindrops dripped from the window glass, and although they were silver drops of warm blossoming flowers in early spring, they reminded Shoko of the cold, wet, icy rain of winter. Outside the window there was a foggy haze that made the buildings of the neighboring Swiss Embassy, the courtyard, the iron railings, the national flag, and the woods of the Arikawamiya Memorial Park across the street from it, all disappear into the haze.

Not feeling quite awake yet, Shoko took a shower to clear her head, then she sat down in front of the three-way mirror and began brushing up her hair. Shoko was twenty-nine years old, still very young, and judging by her reserved personality, she could really be called a virtuous wife.

This can be traced back to her family environment. Shoko’s family has been law-abiding civil servants for two generations, and her grandfather served in the Ministry of Finance from before and during World War II, rising through the ranks from chief of the Controller’s Division to the Controller’s Director, a position with a very promising future.

Later, he was promoted to the position of Undersecretary of State, but probably because he did not have a strong desire to go into politics, he chose to retire and stayed in his own house in Minami-Mabu 5-chome to enjoy a comfortable and leisurely retirement life in the depressed and chaotic situation after the end of the Second World War.

His son, Shinzaburo, Shoko’s father, was very different from his grandfather. After graduating from the University of the East, he worked at the Ministry of Construction and held major positions such as the head of the Housing Division, the head of the Road Division, and the head of the Construction Division, and finally became the Director of Construction for the Kanto Region, and then, because he had reached the age of retirement, he was appointed as a special advisor to the chairman of the board of directors of the private company, Daihotsu Construction Company, which is a subsidiary of Daihotsu Construction Company, and had a wealth of experience.

As a result, the Shoko family in Azabu was a typical middle-class family. Shoko grew up freely in this family, graduated from a prestigious university, and married at the age of 24, leading an extremely smooth and simple life.

Due to her mother’s infirmity, she gave birth very late in life, i.e. Shoko’s father was thirty-five years old before he had a daughter.

As soon as Shoko reached marriageable age, her father, Shinzaburo, asked for help in arranging his daughter’s blind dates in order to find a good husband for her. After graduating from the university, Shoko went on to take a course in housewifery and had no experience in the workplace, so she did not have much chance to choose a marriage partner for herself.

So Shoko left her marriage to her father’s discretion. In the construction company where her father worked as a consultant, her father saw a young and promising young man named Kouyou Ogikura, so her father arranged a meeting between the two, and since she had no special likes and dislikes for Kouyou, and had no particular reasons for opposing her father’s choice, she told her father that she would do exactly as he wished on the next day of the blind date and she married Kouyou six years ago. She married Kouyou six years ago.

Moreover, Kouyou came to be the son-in-law of the Tsuruta family as a member of the family.

Since the marriage has been six years of days, the family all went well, calm and quiet Shoko married the third year, his father died, but in exchange for Kouyou only thirty years of age, was promoted to the head of the bidding section, the two couples began to life gradually into a good situation.

If there is anything that Shoko is unhappy about, it would probably have to be Shoko’s inability to get pregnant, and the fact that when Kouyou became the head of the bidding department, he suddenly lived an extravagant life, either coming home late or spending the night out, and if he came home at night, he must have smelled of another woman’s body odor on him. But in the face of this situation, Shoko neither asks questions nor complains to him.

Whenever he came home late with another woman’s body odor on him, Kouyou would always say, as if he was unhappy, “It’s exhausting to entertain the customers, and the customers are so vigilant, so it’s exhausting to have to work so hard to close the deal.”

“Yeah! It’s really hard work!” Shoko always said gently.

At first she thought that his absence was just a long business trip, but she never thought that there was anything wrong with it. A few years ago, her husband had also traveled many times to bid on projects planned by the local construction bureau, such as reservoirs, harbors, and roads, and the longest time he had not come home had been as long as half a month or a month, which was not infrequent.

Since she was traveling to Kyushu, she thought it might be for the bidding of a reservoir project in Kamishiba or upstream of the Kuma River! But five days ago, when she had called Kouyou at the Fukuoka branch office, which was in charge of Kyushu’s local business, to check on her car’s annual inspection, she had been surprised to get an answer that Kouyou hadn’t been to the office.

She thought he might have gone to a branch in Miyazaki or Kumamoto, so she called each one to inquire, but the answer was that he hadn’t gone to the branch.

“Strange! He obviously told me I was going to Kyushu on business!” Shoko called Aoyama’s head office to confirm his business trip location.

And what the company’s business department answered was really strange.

“Yes! The Chief is really on a business trip to Kyushu, not in the office, but…”

Just when the young bidding clerk didn’t know how to answer, the sales manager named Saito immediately picked up the phone and said, “Hello! Mrs. Tsuruta, long time no see!”

“Yes! That… May I ask if my husband is still in Kyushu?”

“Well! In fact, we are also very troubled, your husband did apply for a business trip to Kyushu two weeks ago, and did not come to work, but he has not contacted the company since then, and now the public money that your husband kept is also missing, so now the whole sales department is also feeling very headache!”

“What!”

Shoko was unable to understand what the other party had said on the phone for a moment, but simply asked, “Do you think that my husband is shortchanging the public coffers?”

“No, no, I’m sorry to tell you all this, but that is the idea on the part of the company right now, and since we can’t find out what happened to your husband, the company is doing everything it can right now to find out what happened to your husband. We will let you know as soon as possible if your husband has called back to the company.”

“Good! Then please!” The phone just hung up inexplicably.

Since that day, the company had not called at all. Shoko began to worry whether her husband had been away for an extended period of time, or whether the news was unclear, or whether he had lost public funds, and she was in a complete state of disarray.

(Instead of being here all alone, it’s better to find someone to talk to.) But who should we talk to? If I were to discuss it with my father’s friends, wouldn’t that be a nuisance to my elders? And I couldn’t think of any friends or relatives from my student days that I could trust.

After thinking about it for a long time, Shoko finally thought that when her father was working at the Ministry of Construction, his predecessor’s son had boarded at Shoko’s house in Azabu during the four years of his student days when he was studying in Tokyo from his hometown, and that the person who was now working as an economic reporter for the Chuo Daily Newspaper, Taniutsu Savehei, would be the best person to consult with.

“Ms. Tsuruta? Ah!” Tanazu also knew about Kouyou, so he felt surprised to hear her call.

“However, I don’t think Mr. Tsuruta is running away after deficiting public funds, there should be some kind of misunderstanding in between!”

“But he hasn’t even called the office or called me yet! So I don’t know what’s going on? It makes me wonder if he’s absconding with some woman!”

“Eh! It’s possible! Maybe it really is related to a woman! However, there shouldn’t be many women who could make him give up a beauty like Shoko and abscond!”

“Do you think it would be better to call the police?”

“Don’t for now, because it involves the company’s public money, so act more carefully, if it were me, I wouldn’t choose this method to draw too much attention from the company or the industry, I’ll help you inquire about this matter!” Taniuzu Provincial Ping hung up the phone after saying that.

But since then, Taniizu hasn’t even contacted her!

(Check back at the office today!)

(Or would it be better to go to the police station and ask for their help in finding the missing family member?) While Shoko was cleaning the floor and doing the laundry in the morning, these two thoughts kept repeating in her mind and she couldn’t make up her mind.

Shoko’s house was built in her grandfather’s time, and it was considered a Western-style building in Azabu, with two floors and a total of twelve Western-style rooms and Japanese-style rooms, which was a lot of work to organize for a person living in such a large house.

Instead, Tanizu made a phone call around 1:00 PM.

Answering the phone that rang in the living room, Shoko said, “Hello!”

The person on the other end of the line said, “This is Tanizu, did your husband call back?”

Shoko replied under her breath, “No… no!”

“And no calls from the company?”

“That’s right! I was just thinking about saying if I should stop by the office today!”

“So! That’s strange, where the hell has Mr. Tsuruta gone!” Mr. Tanizu spoke in a murmuring voice.

“Did you get any information from Mr. Tanizu’s side?” Shoko asked hurriedly.

“I’ve also been to Roc Construction Company to try to see if I can pry into the news, but the company side is very tight-lipped, the only thing that makes me feel is that the company side doesn’t seem to be that worried about this shortfall of public funds, this point makes me very skeptical, because usually as long as a company is involved in a similar incident, it should all be dealt with by the police, but Roc has no intention at all to do that, so I think that the matter of your husband’s defalcation of public funds is a fraud, you can rest assured!”

“Really! It’s really great if that’s the case!”

“But I’m more worried about something else!”

“What is it?”

“Did Mr. Tsuruta ever talk to you or say anything about the bidding case for the Tokyo Bay Bay System project before he disappeared?”

“What?” Shoko was confused because it was the first time she had heard the name of the project.

“It doesn’t matter if you haven’t heard of it, it’s been two weeks anyway! I think Mr. Tsuruta is probably on a secret business trip somewhere with secret orders from the top of the company! Let’s wait and see what happens, and if there’s still no progress by next week, I’ll start a serious investigation!” Tanitsu hung up the phone after saying soothingly.

Shoko put the earpiece away and thought about what Tanitsu had just said

(Bidding for Tokyo Bay Bay System Project…) Why do I feel so strange?

Anyway, Kouyou had never mentioned anything to her about complicated business matters like the company case. However, hearing Tanitsu say that the money loss might be an empty rumor, in that case, she could wait for a while before calling the police to ask for assistance in finding the missing family members.

Afterwards, in order to have to go to the grocery store, she was ready to go out, but just as she was about to walk out of the foyer, the doorbell rang!

4 (Who could it be?) The doorbell continues to ring.

Shoko didn’t open the door, instead she ran back to the kitchen and grabbed the intercom microphone.

This was a method of self-defense that Shoko, who often stayed home alone all day, had become very accustomed to.

“May I ask who you’re looking for?”

“I’d like to talk to you about your husband!” The man’s voice on the other end of the microphone was heard for the first time.

“My husband?” To her surprise, she asked, “May I ask who you are?”

“I’m Funakoshi, and I’d like to talk to you in person about something, ma’am!”

“Whoa! What do want to talk about?”

“I just need to talk at the door!”

So Shoko went to the entrance and opened the door, and outside stood a tall, dignified man in a dark blue suit in his mid-thirties.

“Pull open the outer door and come in yourself!” As soon as he had finished speaking, the man opened the outer door and stepped into the red-tiled courtyard and walked to the entrance door. He set his black suitcase down beside him and took out his business card.

Suddenly he said, “I’m Funakoshi, Kasumi’s husband!”

“What?”

“I’m an employee of Tsukishima Construction Consultants and not a bad person.”

Shoko didn’t think he was a bad guy, but perhaps her expression showed some hint of precaution!

The man, named Funakoshi, handed her his business card.

That business card bore the name of the company he had just introduced, as well as the words designer Shoutarou Funakoshi.

However, he just called himself Mr. Kasumi. Kasumi sounds like a sweet name!

But what did that have to do with her? So Shoko asked, “Can I help you?”

“Ma’am, hasn’t your husband been away on a business trip for about two weeks and hasn’t come home?”

“Yes, he went on a business trip to Kyushu!” She said as she opened the door.

“Do you believe that, ma’am?”

“Huh?”

“Your husband is not on a business trip to Kyushu, but he is taking my wife on a trip to Brunei!” The man who called himself Funakoshi Shoutarou spoke in a very agitated tone. That agitated tone sounded as if he was angry, it was really strange.

But once she heard the words coming out of the man’s mouth, Shoko was really startled.

“You said my husband and your wife…?” She repeated the question like a parrot.

“That’s right! I have caught the handle! They’re traveling secretly to Atami!”

“Really?” Shoko couldn’t think of what to say for a moment.

The man in front of him was dressed as an ordinary office worker, and his face looked sincere and serious, not like he was telling a lie.

Shoko wanted to ask him more, so she said, “I… have something to ask you, so please come inside!”

When Shoko invited him into the house, the man looked at his watch while saying in hasty refusal, “Ma’am, this is not the time to talk about things, please get ready right away, I came here today to ask you to go to Atami with me!”

“To Atami?”

I didn’t realize that there really were people in the world that were that abrupt, causing Shoko to freeze for a moment.

“You mean right away?”

“That’s right, it’ll be too late if we don’t move right away! They’re vacationing at Atami’s vacation villa right now! I didn’t find out about this hiding place until yesterday. I think I’m a bit thinner going alone than going with you, ma’am, and the two of us can still have someone to discuss it with, so please go with me!”

The man looked at her eagerly and spoke, hoping that she would prepare her traveling supplies immediately.

“We’ll discuss the details on the tram, so please get ready!”

5 When the 16:48 Shinkansen “Ziyu No. 455” started up on the platform, Shoko had only just sat down, feeling as if she were dreaming.

However, Shoko’s mood was accelerating along with the white body of the Shinkansen.

The street scene from Marunouchi to Yurakucho outside the window was gradually left behind the fast-moving carriages.

Shoko was dressed in a springy lavender dress with ivory high heels, and her hand luggage consisted of a small suitcase with toiletries, cosmetics, and simple belongings, and an LV bag.

As for what exactly she was going to do in Atami, she really wasn’t too sure, but after five days of worrying about Kouyou’s well-being under unknown circumstances, she finally found out Kouyou’s whereabouts and where he was staying, and that was a piece of news that wasn’t too bad for her.

What was the intention of this man named Shoutarou Funakoshi, did he want to raid the scene of their private rendezvous? All Shoko wanted to do was ask Kouyou when she saw him why he was suddenly lost and unheard of, and she wanted to be the wife who was in the best position to ask.

(The first thing to do is bring him home first!)

(He stays in Atami even if he’s with a woman, maybe it’s for something else!) “I’m really sorry to come to your home so abruptly!” Funakoshi Choutarou sat down, took out his cigarettes from his pocket as if to catch his breath, and said so.

“Now you can start telling me the whole story!” Shoko said, adjusting her sitting position slightly, and then added, “Also, I’d like to know what kind of person your wife really is.”

(That’s right! It’s the most natural question to ask Kasumi’s husband!) Shoko thought so in her own mind.

Funakoshi Choutarou held a cigarette in his mouth and did not light it, while his hand took out an envelope from his shirt pocket, took out several photographs placed in it, and handed them to Shoko.

“Can you see if the man in the photo is your husband? The woman is Kasumi.”

These photos were all taken during the day.

However, it looks very much like a surreptitious photo. The photo shows the man lying on a deck chair on the balcony of his vacation villa room, looking out over the ocean, while the woman lies on top of him. In addition to this photo, there are also photos of them walking hand-in-hand along the coastal road near the villa, or walking out of a supermarket or restaurant arm-in-arm, all of which were clearly snapped.

The expressions of the men in the photos, on the other hand, were all of the kind Shoko had never seen her husband have. Some of them were expressions with lovers reveling in that sweet feeling, while others were expressions of frowning in agonized thought.

Shoko shifted her eyes to the woman beside the man. Surprised to find that it was a rather gorgeous woman.

Even though she had gone through a journey, compared to herself, who was a typical beauty belonging to the small family type, that woman in all showed that she was an experienced, mature and confident capable beauty, and she was a completely different type of typical.

“This one, is she your wife?” Somehow, the heart suddenly felt a little uncomfortable.

“Exactly! You see how well the two of them get along!”

“What does your wife do?”

“The secretary of the chairman of Roc Construction!”

“What! The same company as my husband?”

“That’s right! Just in a different department!”

“So! You’re a two-paycheck family lo!”

“It’s a two-paycheck family, but we’re nothing like the average two-paycheck couple!”

“What’s the difference? Can you please make it clearer?”

So Shoutarou Funakoshi began to narrate!

The Shinkansen continues to speed westward.

After graduating from the Department of Architecture at a prestigious private university eight years ago, Shoutarou Funakoshi joined the Tsukishima Design Office, an architectural consulting firm run by renowned architect Junjin Tsukishima, which was a fortunate start for him as he wanted to become a young architect.

But in his third year of service, he quit his job. He was active in the Sumida River Hayate Cup  boat race as a student and was a star competitor, but he quit his job because he had tuberculosis.

Lung disease used to be a disease that caused a very high mortality rate, but nowadays, with the advancement of medical science, if treated correctly, it does not become a fatal disease, but nowadays there are still a lot of patients in our society.

Funakoshi was sent to the National Highland Sanatorium in Yatsugatake for the next three years to live a convalescent life, and the person who visited him with flowers every month during this period was his college-age girlfriend, Kasumi Ogio.

Kasumi was already working at Roc Construction by then.

And it was at the Highland Sanatorium that Funakoshi proposed to Kasumi, and while Kisumi initially said she’d go back to Tokyo to think about it, she ended up agreeing to his proposal on her second visit back to Yatsugatake, but on one condition.

“I can support you, I want you to get well in peace and become a famous architect in the future, but after I get married I have to continue to work, you can’t interfere with my work, even though we’re married, I can still have the free space of an independent individual, can you accept this condition?” Kasumi asked him this.

“Can you really honor that condition?” She asked him again, once more.

This strange condition of female superiority over male inferiority was so strange to Funakoshi, who was in convalescence, that he considered Kasumi, who was willing to marry him, to be nothing short of a goddess, and so he agreed to do so without giving it a second thought!

Finally, they got married! The two then lived separate lives in a nursing home and in Tokyo.

Three years later, Funakoshi was discharged from the hospital. During that time in the sanatorium, it was entirely up to Kasumi to support her life.

That is to say, she is completely dependent on her alone in every aspect, spiritually, financially, physically, etc!

And during this time, Kisumi had been working in the secretary’s office of the Roc Construction Company, a career woman.

Three years later, Funakoshi returns to Tokyo and soon returns to work at Tsukishima Construction Consultants. At the same time, he moves into a new apartment in Mitaka and starts a life together with Kasumi. Funakoshi is a bit uncomfortable when their lifestyle is implemented on the terms that Kasumi has described.

“For me, I have to be patient, just because I promised in the nursing home, so I have to keep my word. However, I can’t agree with this kind of too company-oriented approach, utilitarianism, and independence, so I often throw teacups to vent my grievances. It slowly made me stop trusting Kasumi!”

“Is your wife even capable of ignoring your emotions?”

“Exactly! She can vacate her home as a guest house every Saturday and Sunday in order to host the president’s golf trips, she goes on business trips once or twice a month, and she goes out for about three days or so on each trip, or else she goes on trips and lives completely without me, and she has even more secrets!” Funakoshi uttered these things while looking out the car window.

Shoko sighed! So there were such weird couples in the world.

To Shoko, she really couldn’t figure out the complicated relationship between these two people, but she was well aware that this man called Funakoshi Shoutarou was filled with restlessness and anger all over his body.

The ground thought that this man might be lonely because he had been alone in the sanatorium for a long time, so he thought that Kasumi, who often visited him in the sanatorium, was a goddess, and as soon as he came back to the society, he realized that his wife had acted in her own way, and could not be restrained at all, and the situation was probably like this.

(Then how did Kouyou get so close to that woman?)

“So, then these photos…” asked Shoko, moving her gaze to the photos on her lap, “how did you find the two of them in Atami?”

“I’m about to tell you now, my wife is always generous whenever she goes out, only this time she looked strange before she was going to go out, she only said that she might go to Kyushu on business for about two weeks or so, but wasn’t very sure about the location, so I thought it was strange, so I hired someone to follow her, and that person wasn’t from the credit bureau, but a student from the photography school who works part-time for fun. “

“That means that photographer ended up tracking down this vacation home Lo!”

“That’s right! And it seems like the person who booked three rooms in that vacation villa is the president of Roc Construction! The part-time photographer I hired to follow and spy on them didn’t manage to take those pictures and report them to me until yesterday, so the business trip to Kyushu was simply just a cover. I want to have a good talk with Kasumi this time!”

Shoko couldn’t tell what Funakoshi, who was talking like this, was going to do about it, but she thought that he would probably ask for a divorce! But for Shoko, she was more concerned about how Kouyou was going to explain it to her!

Outside the car window to her left, a view of the ocean was presented.

The Shinkansen continues to rush forward.

Once past Yugawara, the car drove into a long tunnel.

Looks like it’s almost at Atami!

(Okay! Let’s just see how they both explain it!)

Shoko was finally starting to arm the defenses of her heart!

6 Shoko and Funakoshi arrived at Atami on the Ziyu 455 at 5:40 PM.

The two of them caught a taxi from in front of the station and set off for Mt. Izu, the scenery around the windows already showing dimness.

The destination vacation villa they wish to travel to is located quite high up on the end of a mountain.

When the car entered the gate of the vacation villa, it was immediately confronted with a steep slope of about thirty-five degrees that had to be climbed, making the car have to struggle to climb up this steep slope.

After checking with the counter, Shoko now had some idea of what had been going on in her mind since she left! Her husband, Kouyou, and Kasumi had left here last night!

“Where did it go? I wonder if you know?” Pouncing on it, an anxious Funakoshi pressed the counter with undying interest.

“They’re talking about moving to the Pomp and Circumstance Hotel in Atami!”

“Penglai Pavilion…? Where is it?”

“It’s over by Yehli High Terrace, and if you take a cab, Mr. Driver will know where it is!

Luckily, the taxi that brought Shoko and the others was still waiting for guests in front of the vacation villa hotel.

So the two got back in the same cab and headed to their second destination.

There were so many slopes and mountain roads in Atami, and after twenty minutes they finally arrived at a large Japanese hotel in Ekiri Takadai. However, there was no sign of the two men inside the hotel.

So Funakoshi began to ask the middle-aged male receptionist at the counter some more matters.

“Yukio Tsuruta and his wife, Kasumi, have indeed booked a room for three days from yesterday, however, they have not been seen checking in as yet, and such guests are causing us a great deal of trouble during this period of the peak tourist season! Do you know Mr. Tsuruta?”

That receptionist was complaining commercially about guests not canceling their reservations.

After hearing what the receptionist said, Funakoshi was instead overjoyed.

“They booked the room for three days did they?”

“That’s right! But they haven’t shown up until today!”

“It’s okay, maybe they’ll come tonight! Is the room still available, sir?”

“Because it’s a reservation, we keep it all.”

“No, I’m asking if there are any other empty rooms in the neighborhood where they booked the room.”

“Are you going to stay the night?”

“That’s right!” The receptionist was surprised but quickly checked the booking record.

“You guys are really lucky! Since today is a non-holiday, there are still rooms available!”

“Then give me a room!”

“No, give us two rooms!”

Suddenly Shoko, who was behind him, spoke up!

Shoko thought that there was no turning back now that she was here!

Knowing that the situation at hand was just as Funakoshi had intended, and that she had no choice but to wait for the ambush, she agreed with Funakoshi’s approach.

(But… it’s a bit of a problem to stay in the same room!)

“Both of you, please go up to the third floor with this lady!”

The receptionist showed a strange expression while asking the service lady to bring the two of them to the single room on the second floor!

The rooms were “Kaede” and “Kustoma”. Since the rooms were separate, it would be unnatural to eat separately, so Shoko and Funakoshi agreed to have a late dinner together in Funakoshi’s room after taking a bath in an hour.

It was an unnatural dinner. It was a strange combination of Mr. and Mrs., who were on a secret trip to track down their respective significant others, who were now having dinner in a room in a Japanese hotel.

“They’ll come, won’t they?”

“It should come!”

“We’ll find out the truth tonight!”

“Exactly! It would be great if it did!” Shoko still had the habit of not being able to sleep without a drink before bed, so she opened two beers.

Funakoshi, on the other hand, took the whiskey and poured out some of it and mixed it with ice water and drank it down, looking into Funakoshi’s eyes from the glass, Shoko realized that Funakoshi’s eyes were misty, which caused Shoko’s whole body to stiffen up.

Shoko hurriedly adjusted the neckline of her yukata. Because she realized that Funakoshi was just looking recklessly at the valley between her snow-white peaks that was unintentionally exposed when the neckline asked. The air in the room suddenly became much heavier.

“The receptionist should let us know if they arrive!”

“Grace! I’ve already explained, so you can sleep in peace, there’s nothing more to worry about.”

“That’s right! It is possible to sleep in peace! I’m a bit tired, so I’ll go back to rest first!”

Shoko hurriedly got up and moved to the next room. In order to avoid staying in the same room all the time, which would cause a subtle flirtation with Funakoshi, Shoko hurriedly returned to her own room.

7 Shoko’s room was about four tsubo in size.

The doorway was a sliding door, just one door away from Funakoshi’s room next door, and since she found that both doors were unlocked, Shoko started looking for a stick or similar object that could be used for defense, but was unable to find either, so she had to give up and prepare for bed.

(There’s nothing to be nervous about, maybe it’s just your own worrying!)

At about 9:30 p.m., she got under the covers in her bathrobe and belt.

Maybe it was the alcohol working before bedtime, she slept for an unknown amount of time. A sudden feeling of breathlessness woke her up!

She felt as if something warm covered her lips, Shoko was still blurry in consciousness, she thought it was probably because of the two beers she drank before going to bed! Because of her head, it felt a little sore! But slowly she regained consciousness.

Opening her eyes, she saw a man’s face face to face with her, and the reason why she was having trouble breathing was because the man was kissing her on the lips. Not only lips met, she realized that somehow the yukata on her body was undone and the man’s hands were roaming her smooth body with impunity, at this moment Funakoshi was caressing Shoko’s breasts and kissing her at the same time.

“No!” Shoko instinctively popped into a sitting position. “Mr. Funakoshi, what are you doing?”

But as soon as she popped up into a sitting position, she instead allowed Funakoshi to capitalize on the opportunity by clasping her hands behind her back and pressing her right hand hard against the quilt. “Oops! Mrs. Tsuruta, why be so formal? We’re in the same boat!” Funakoshi spoke in a sad tone.

Shoko heard what he said, but she didn’t think that she and Funakoshi were in the same boat, no, it should be that she never wanted to be in the same boat as him from the bottom of her heart!

“Mr. Funakoshi! Let go of me!”

Shoko fought back.

“It’s mean to sneak up on someone while they’re asleep! What’s the matter? Is it because my husband and your wife haven’t shown up yet?”

Shoko tried hard to calm Funakoshi down. But what she said enraged Funakoshi even more.

“Damn it! They haven’t shown up yet, those two must be having a good time somewhere tonight! In that case, Mrs. Tsuruta, let’s not waste any more time!” Funakoshi said as he pressed his body closer to hers, and she could smell the strong odor of alcohol still lingering on his body.

The smell of alcohol made Shoko sense that Funakoshi had taken out his own anger at Kasumi’s betrayal of his marriage on her, and that all he wanted now was revenge. The situation made her feel dangerous, and even more frightening was the fact that Funakoshi’s upper half of his body was now naked! The lower half of his body was also down to a pair of white panties!

“Don’t! Don’t! You let go!” Shoko resisted desperately, still utilizing her empty left hand to hastily pull the open yukata together and back away as she did so. “Don’t come any closer!”

“Come on! Mrs. Tsuruta!”

“Don’t come any closer! Come any closer and I’ll have to call someone!” She saw his burning lust in Funakoshi’s eyes.

In fact, it wasn’t that she didn’t understand what Funakoshi meant by being in the same boat.

Except she didn’t think that just because they were in the same boat, they could rightfully have sex. Maybe just because they had sex made it impossible for them to righteously condemn their other half’s betrayal!

Actually, Shoko was not a sexually puritanical person! Before she got married, when she was a freshman at a women’s college, she had her first relationship with someone she met at a disco, and after that, she had intimate physical relationships with several of her boyfriends, and even after she got married, she cheated on him once or twice without her husband’s knowledge.

In other words, although she is a virtuous and conservative wife, she is still a mature woman with lust.

In other words, she also wanted to make love to her favorite man! But wouldn’t it be too shallow if she simply reacted for the sake of momentary carnal desire!

“What’s the matter? Mrs. Tsuruta, why are you so insistent? Anyway, your husband hasn’t touched you in a long time, so he’s probably having an affair with my wife right now! What’s there to worry about?” Funakoshi’s words had a hint of coercion in them. The meaning of his words seemed to imply that since his own wife was sleeping with someone’s husband, he also had the right to fuck someone’s wife.

It wasn’t that she didn’t actually understand the implications of his words, it was just that she didn’t really want to respond to him.

“But we’ve only just met today, and our friendship isn’t even close to that!”

“It takes no time at all to recognize when you do something like that! Just the thought of Kasumi now lying in the arms of Kouyou Tsuruta makes me so angry I could explode!”

It was a part of the mood that Shoko could quite relate to!

Because the thought of Kouyou hugging that woman named Kasumi made Shoko explode with rage!

At that moment Funakoshi got up and moved closer to her. He grabbed her right hand and still refused to let go of her. Shoko, who was trying to run away, felt the throbbing in her chest and the thumping of her heart at the same time.

(Move your hand no matter what!) But the more she moved her hand, the more she saw Funakoshi’s lower abdomen grow excited, and Shoko’s mind immediately felt a rush of heat at the thought of the power represented there.

The more she struggled, the more she saw the standing male erection, causing Shoko to think about it and feel her whole body burning.

Deep inside her body, she was slowly fighting against her senses to embrace that wonderful male-female love. She was in agony, her mind was telling her that this was wrong, but her body was telling her to relax, that there were unexpected pleasures waiting for her if she let it happen…

She thought about what an awesome act of vengeance it would be to be suddenly and madly united with the same end-of-the-world person who had been betrayed by her other half, while preparing to track him down on a secret trip.

At the moment, her mind was replaced by this thought, though reason still slightly outweighed physical sensation.

(No way! No way!)

“Don’t! Don’t!” The more she resisted, the harder the grip on her wrists became.

Funakoshi once again pressed the body that the  ship had worked out against her, and Shoko was thus pinned down by Funakoshi.

Then Funakoshi unzipped her yukata, and was busy caressing Shoko, and took off her yukata, then Funakoshi’s tongue started to lick Shoko’s armpits, and this action made Shoko shiver with excitement. Before she got married, she met a married man in disco, when that man licked Shoko’s armpits with his tongue, it made her feel pleasure from the depth of her body, and even more, it made her shiver with excitement all over her body, she broke up with that man for more than half a year, and this is the first time to be licked by a person’s armpits after she broke up with him.

“Don’t! Stop it! Don’t!” Shoko whimpered in shock.

Funakoshi started kissing her all over. The yukata had been completely removed.

Gradually Shoko began to chirp as she was starting to react!

Through Funakoshi kissing from her neck all the way to her lower abdomen, the gentle touch of those lips made Shoko involuntarily and instinctively react to this passion as she gripped the pillows, enjoying the gush of pleasure.

(I… I… how can I…) In her mind she still stubbornly resisted, her pride still not bowing down.

But now the dominant power is completely manipulated by Funakoshi.

Eventually even the clothing on the most intimate parts of her body was removed at some point!

And being caressed repeatedly, Shoko could only relax her whole body to enjoy the pleasure, because resisting the torturous caresses for a long time had drained Shoko’s whole body of energy. She had done her part as a wife, having tried so hard to resist the caresses of others.

And now she lay naked on the bed, unconsciously enjoying the bursts of pleasure coming from her body, wanting more than anything else the pleasure of the man’s strong body on top of her joining with hers.

Lying on the bed, Shoko was a lovely girl whose whole body was full of the charm of a mature woman, with a thin waist, plump breasts, a flat belly, and round, plump buttocks all exuding a charming style. Funakoshi sucked hard on the tips of her full breasts, making the buds stand hard.

“AH… AH…” Shoko whimpered.

Funakoshi’s tongue did not miss every inch of the white and pink skin in front of him, sucking it to his heart’s content, while his hands were not idle, exploring the secret valley between Shoko’s legs. Under the caress of his magic hands, Shoko’s valley gushed out a gush of love juice.

With the movement of his fingers in and out of the channel, there was the occasional sound of crisp water.

“Don’t! Don’t! I can’t stand the sound!” Shoko’s physique was of the very sensitive type.

She couldn’t stand to hear a voice that would make her shy.

“Please! Love me quickly! Stop torturing me!” Its voice was no longer in denial, replaced by the sound of petulant pleading. Funakoshi’s caresses had finally worked, immediately causing Shoko’s arousal to rise!

“Mrs. Tsuruta, you’re awesome! Your bidding-sergeant husband who’s having fun with someone else really doesn’t know how to enjoy the beauty in front of him!” Funakoshi started to have some energy left for some jokes.

Because the situation in front of him had been mastered, Shoko’s whole body was already warm and moist, waiting for him to explore further and deeper.

“Please! Stop torturing me! Come on!”

Funakoshi finally got up and buried himself deep inside Shoko, a move that caused Shoko to arch her back with certainty and made her cry out. As Funakoshi moved, Shoko excitedly hooked her arms tightly around Funakoshi’s body, enjoying the pleasure to the fullest.

“Ah… Ah… Ah… Ah!” As Funakoshi’s whole body was moving, he was biting Shoko’s ear and sucking on her full breasts from time to time. This back-and-forth rhythm finally brought both of them to the peak of ecstasy.

Shoko let herself fall across the bed afterward, suddenly feeling a little uneasy about what had just happened.

As it turned out, Shoko’s husband and Kasumi did not show up at the hotel that night.

Shoko and Funakoshi remain in Atami the next day, but Kouyou and Kasumi still don’t show up, making their ambush plan a failure.

Shoko spent the next night still lying next to Funakoshi enjoying sexual pleasures and didn’t return to Tokyo until the next morning.

Chapter 2 – Bad news during the day

1 “Hey! Not getting up yet?” The woman beside me said in a voice that had just woken up.

When he heard the voice, he woke up from his sleep, but he did not reply, instead he pulled the quilt higher over his head and turned around to go back to sleep again.

“I didn’t expect to be a bedwetter, hey, the sun’s up my ass already and I’ve got things to do this afternoon!”

The woman who had been chattering incessantly picked up a cigarette from the pillow and lit it, and pushed the hair that hung in front of her forehead behind her ear with the fingers of her right hand that was coated with cardamom, which was a habitual action of hers, and he did not need to look to know that she was doing these actions.

(It’s not like you’re a waitress, why are you waking people up so early, besides isn’t it Sunday?) The woman beside her only took a drag on her cigarette before twisting it out, and after a big yawn, she lifted the quilt and got out of bed.

“I’m going to the shower!” Then the sound of shuffling slippers on the floor was heard.

The window  was pulled open by her.

“Wow! That’s great! Check it out, the sunlight sparkling on Tokyo Bay is so bright!”

(Huh? Tokyo Bay?)

All he could think of was that he couldn’t see Tokyo Bay from the bathroom of his single room near Kichijoji! Suddenly he finally woke up from his sleep and was presented with the grand and splendid large-sized double bed of the hotel.

Seriously for a sleepyhead like him it was a good time to sleep, but he lifted the quilt and sat up from the bed.

It turned out that he got drunk last night and somehow got confused and stayed in this double room.

It was a city hotel on the outskirts of the city, and the woman pulled open the window  facing south; from this room one could look out over the glittering sunlit Tokyo Bay.

“Good morning! It looks like you’re really awake! I’m going to take a shower, so when you’re ready, you can come along too ooh!”

The woman smiled as she said it and, naked and ready to bathe, disappeared in front of the bathroom, tossing her long hair and swaying her pretty hips as she did so.

The woman’s name was Takagi Mika, but whether it was her real name was unknown!

She’s a waitress at the Ginza Club Maiko, where Roc Construction’s executives entertain VIPs, and she’s not too good-looking, so Tanitsu’s shoestring budget can be used as a reason to buy dinner.

And the suburban city hotel where they were staying was one he had booked for a friend’s kid!

That is to say, this room was booked by Tanitsu a month ago, but not for Mika, but for his hometown friend’s daughter, who was attending a short university, and needed a place to stay while she and her friend prepared to come to Tokyo Disneyland for spring break, so he asked Tanitsu to book this room, only for his friend’s daughter to suddenly fall ill, making the trip to Tokyo impossible. Although he received a call from his friend saying that he wanted to cancel the reservation, he thought that if he didn’t cancel it, it might still come in handy.

“How about coming with me to the City Inn to see a lavish cabaret show and to dine? Mika, let’s go!”

He didn’t offer an invitation until yesterday.

Since it was a Saturday, Mika took a vacation from the store.

Sure enough, I had a happy day, but I didn’t extract any valuable information from Mika.

Tanigatsu Savehei is about to start investigating the truth about the disappearance of Tsuruta Kouyou because he was asked to do so by Shoko.

Tanizu got up and covered himself in a bathrobe, put on his slippers and got up and headed for the refrigerator, opening the door and taking out a can of beer, sipping it as he headed for the window.

As far as the eye can see, there is a vast expanse of Tokyo Bay, flooded with warm spring sunshine, and the surface of the sea ripples with the breeze.

This daytime view of Tokyo Bay is not really perfect, as the seemingly clear water is actually covered with a black film of oil, and the bay is surrounded by a hodgepodge of gray warehouses and buildings, as well as petroleum tanks and concrete dykes, which greatly spoil the beauty of the view.

It’s hard to imagine the original view of the bay with all the garbage and debris floating in it, but I’ve heard many old people say that Tokyo Bay was originally a very romantic bay. Unfortunately, the scenery of the bay will change even more in the 21st century, and it may become a commercial area by then!

In addition to the opening of Tokyo Disneyland, city hotels and exhibition halls, everything in Yokohama has become commercialized, and the recently completed Tokyo Bay Bridge, as well as the ongoing development of the 13th landfill, the Toyosu area redevelopment and other development projects are mostly planned in accordance with New York City’s Manhattan Harbor, so in the twenty-first century, Tokyo Bay’s scenery may become a city of skyscrapers and harbors. The view of Tokyo Bay in the 21st century will probably become a harbor city with many skyscrapers!

However, before the completion of the renovation project, there is no telling how many cases of malpractices involving collusion of interests will be implicated in the case of investment of large sums of money!

(No, I should say there’s a malpractice erupting in the immediate future!)

The fact that Shoko’s husband has suddenly disappeared without any contact with her makes Tanitsu realize that there must be some unknown and ugly scandal behind the disappearance of Kouyou Tsuruta!

Tanitsu thought so as he looked out over Tokyo Bay.

“The water is ready, want to wash together?” Takagi Mika’s sappy voice with a thick nasal tone suddenly came out from the bathroom.

“Whoo! I’m coming!” With that, Tanizu headed for the bathroom.

The bathroom was full of hot air, and he stripped off his robe and underwear in front of the mirror, opened the narrow, folding, beveled-glass door, and entered into a mist of water. Mika was already showered and soaking in the tub, which was so narrow that it seemed impossible for the two of them to share a bath together. But after Tanitsu finished his shower, he still squeezed into the tub next to Mika and shared the bath with her.

“Sitting side by side is a bit cramped! Why don’t we face each other?”

As they adjusted their soaking position, she giggled loudly with delight as they touched Mika’s breasts in the water. This woman really loves to laugh, this kind of laughter really sounds like a manly woman!

When Tanitsu’s hand touched Mika’s sexy area, she smiled in the same way.

“I’m very sensitive!”

(Of course you wouldn’t say you’re frigid!)

The woman’s over-excitement and the fact that she had been laughing in the morning light had caused Tanitsu to lose interest and to want to leave the bath tub first.

Probably got up when she saw his dick!

“Wow! So you’re not very energetic! That’s okay, wait a minute!” Saying that, Mika pulled out the plug of the bath benefit and drained some of the water so that only a little bit of water was left. “This way, you won’t drown, come on! Lie down!

Tanizu did as she said and laid down.

When he felt the water only just cover his body, Mika’s fingers went for his dick.

After holding it, she lifted it above the surface of the water so that the warm water just covered it, and rubbed it from time to time, and in a short while it slowly regained its spirit!

“You were in high spirits yesterday! As soon as you went to bed you drilled real hard for several rounds, and I think you must have had some purpose in mind in inviting to find the inn.”

“Exactly! Drunk as I am, I just want to warm up to you properly.”

“Liar! Your enthusiasm last night was unheard of!”

“Just because it’s never been seen before, that’s why you love it!”

“When did I say I liked it?”

“Last night when we fought!”

“Hey! When did you hear me say that!”

“See! I’m refreshed again! I’m a vibrant person in the morning!”

“I’m afraid of you! I’m twenty-four hours a day, all year round! Let’s go to war!”

“Whew! Is that a jingle designed for women?”

Tanitsu flirts with Mika flirtatiously, while Mika’s hand fully grasps Tanitsu’s erogenous zones and stimulates his blood flow through the rhythmic movement of his fingers. The soft hands rubbing the balls of flesh under the surface of the water are a true expert in this field.

(Women in Ginza have changed a lot lately!)

Mika’s fingers seemed to move around the testicles with pleasure, and from time to time, she held the hardness that stood on top of it and buried it in her lips. When she took the stiffness and ran her tongue over it, Tanitsu couldn’t help but growl lowly in excitement.

(Even if I couldn’t get any information from Mika, this operation was still worth every penny!) With Mika’s flexible lips and tongue, Tanitsu realized that his hands were unknowingly gripping the edge of the bath tub, and he kept letting out a low roar like a lion.

“Hey! Stop it! I’m about to explode!”

“So! Well, go on out then, I have to dry my hair!”

Tanizu left the bathroom first and just walked naked to the fridge to grab his unfinished beer and headed to the bed to sit down.

Mr. Tanigatsu is thirty-two years old and still single. He works in the economics department of the Chuo Daily, and although a veteran like him would probably have been promoted to editorial page editor by now, judging by his age, he is a special exception! But Tanitsu is a special exception.

Because he is a member of the rich and powerful, he has always been a loose cannon, which makes him a dangerous radical in a news organization that stresses the need for organizational warfare in all matters. To put it nicely, he was more opinionated, but to put it bluntly, he was simply egotistical and uncaring.

On Sundays like this, Tanitsu was happy to be away from home. The thought that he might be able to get some clues behind the disappearance of Shoko’s husband about the collusion between business and the government in the construction fraud case made him as eager as a forest cheetah preparing for its prey.

2 “I’ve kept you waiting!”

Mika stepped out of the bathroom and made her way naked to the bed, her breasts swaying as she did so, while her thick hair fluttered. “What are you thinking?” She leaned into Tanazu’s naked shoulder and inquired.

“Nope! Nothing!”

“Liar, you must be thinking about something to have such a stony face.”

“I was thinking that you and I really work well together!”

“That’s true, a spirited morning person!”

“Who said that, I’m a twenty-four hour, year round, ready to fight type just like you!” Tanitsu ran his hand down Mika’s body as he felt himself finally waking up from his nap and looking energized and ready to go.

Tanitsu didn’t hate women, in other words, he loved women, and he was the type of person who would be energized as soon as he sucked in the lubricating body fluids unique to a woman’s body.

As he kissed Mika, he pressed her down on the bed, while his hands kept rubbing Mika’s round and plump breasts, feeling the satisfaction of holding the soft warmth in his palms. As he moved his lips away from Mika’s, he could hear her moaning as he caressed her with his hands, and then Tanitsu moved down to the peaks of her breasts, sucking on them as he moved his right hand down to her lower abdomen.

His fingers felt wetness in the delta zone, and while Tanitsu’s tongue flowed over the peaks of his breasts, his hands were busy rubbing the core of Mika’s erogenous zones, a maneuver that caused Mika to purr. Then Tanitsu changed his position and began to press his lips against the freshly cleansed core.

“Ah… the room is so bright… it’s a bit embarrassing!”

Although Mika’s mouth said so, it was not at all obvious how shy she was. Because she stretched out her body greatly in the bright light without any concealment. And Tanitsu’s tongue worked its way around her erogenous zones and felt the sweet juices filling her mouth.

“ah… ah…!” Megha chanted even louder, while her body shook up and down from time to time.

“Ah! Can’t do it! Hurry up!”

Tanitsu had been reserving his stamina for a week just waiting for this moment, so he still worked hard to tease and caress Mika.

Mika ended up holding Tanitsu’s head with both hands.

“No way! Free me now!”

So Tanitsu adjusted his position and buried his body deep inside Mika’s body. This combined action caused Mika to tighten her arms around Tanitsu with both of her hands and began to kiss Tanitsu.

“Woo! Woo!” Finally Tanitsu’s body deeply filled the gap of Mika’s body. At this moment, Tanitsu began to move inside Mika, in and out to fully satisfy Mika’s needs, and as Tanitsu’s body moved, Mika spread her legs wide and spread them so that Tanitsu’s body could hit her core, and then both of them climbed up to the peak of pleasure together.

Twenty minutes later, Tanitsu, dripping with sweat, left Mika’s body and lay across the bed, his body still beaded with sweat as he picked up the cup on the nightstand and took a large gulp of water. Then he lit a cigarette and began to gulp it down.

Mega finally opened her eyes at this point and picked up her lighter to light a cigarette to smoke.

It was the first time that Mika had encountered someone as skillful as Tanimatsu Savehei, and she felt a great sense of fulfillment.

“You’re awesome!” She said seriously.

(This is a real surprise!)

That kind of statement can raise the value of the Ginza woman slightly, I guess!

Tanitsu stroked Mika’s hair. This woman might not be as worldly as she looks, she might only be around twenty-two or thirty years old, full of youth! Tanitsu thought so.

“Mika, has Mr. Tsuruta been to the store lately?” It was time to start cutting to the chase.

“Mr. Tsuruta? You mean the Mr. Tsuruta from Roc Construction?”

“Grace! I’ve noticed he hasn’t been working lately, it’s kind of weird!”

“That’s true, he’s hardly been in the store lately!”

“I was hearing rumors that he seems to have disappeared, has Mika heard anything?”

“Well! I haven’t heard anything, but ask Saori, maybe she’ll know something!”

Saori is a coworker at Mika’s store.

“Oh! Ms. Saori! Is she in charge of entertaining Mr. Tsuruta?”

“That’s right! Saori is a red card in mama-san’s eyes, so for important clients, she’ll most likely send Saori to serve them.”

“In that case, not only Mr. Tsuruta, but even the other high-ranking people of Roc Construction were entertained by Saori-sama as well!”

“The president and the special agent are entertained by Mama-san herself, while Mr. Tsuruta or someone in a lower position than him is the one who is served by Saori.”

“Isn’t the president Mr. Washio? Isn’t he very old? Why is he still wandering around the flowery streets?”

“He comes only occasionally, and when he does, he always smiles and talks about being warned by his doctor to abstain from alcohol and diet, just like a little daughter-in-law!”

“Wow! He’s still in power! He’s really something!”

“Of course he’s still around! He’s only about 65 or 60 years old, and every time she receives him, she gets a backache!”

“I’ve heard that Mama-san works for Mr. Yakuoin! Isn’t she Washio Kitaro’s woman?”

“Ugh! Mr. Provincial Flat, please, let’s not talk about these things anymore!”

“Don’t worry! I won’t leak it out, and tell me if Yakuoin Hozou likes any of the Maiyuri ladies!”

“Well! Mama-san seems to be very loyal to him! But Yakuoin-san is always on the prowl for young ladies, and he’s always flirting with new faces, so Mamasan has to replenish her with new faces all the time, which is something she often complains about!”

Yakuoin Hozo is a member of the Diet of the ruling party and has a background in the construction industry, and his experience also includes serving as a cadre in the Ministry of Construction and Taizo Province, so he has a strong bond with Roc Construction.

The missing Koyo Tsuruta was the head of the Bidding Division, and it’s not surprising that he often went to Ginza with these high-ranking officials and members of the National Assembly as a dancer, so Tanitsu tries to find out what happened before and after the disappearance of Koyo Tsuruta from this aspect.

“Mika! If you’re still on good terms with Saori-san, then could you ask about Tsuruta-san’s recent news for me?”

“Why do you care about him so much? Saori and I are rivals! How could I possibly be on good terms with her, but since Mr. Savepeace asked me to, I’ll try to find out!”

“All right! It’s decided! Let’s meet again this weekend. I’m not going to have the money to spend at the store anymore, so I’ll call and ask you out, and I hope you won’t turn me down.”

“Don’t worry! I value all the customers who come to the store, I don’t care if he has money or not!

Mika’s hands began to stroke their way up Tanitsu’s body again, energizing Tanitsu’s entire body again.

3 The morning sun shone in the courtyard. Shoko leaned her forehead against the lace window  and looked out the window with her eyes.

Azabu’s home, occupied by Shoko alone, just seemed too spacious! And the garden hasn’t been organized for a long time!

The meadows, flower gardens, and trees all present a picture of winter depression.

Shoko’s eyes, however, could not see the view of the courtyard in front of her.

Because her mind was seriously thinking about something, her eyes, sight, hearing, etc. were completely useless at the moment.

She suddenly noticed the phone downstairs ringing, making her suspicious.

(Huh? Is there really a phone? Or is it just me?)

Shoko finally came back to her senses, then left the window.

She was just standing in Kouyou’s study on the second floor when she put down the vacuum cleaner she was using to clean the room and rushed downstairs to answer the phone.

But when she happened to run to the first floor, the phone ringing unexpectedly cut off!

(Could it be Kouyou hitting the pick?)

The disconnected call began to make her mind go in circles.

It was three days later on Sunday after that day, the day I returned from Atami!

and Funakoshi Choutarou had traveled thousands of miles to Atami, only to gain no news whatsoever, and she still didn’t know the whereabouts of Mister.

As for Shoko and Funakoshi’s passionate union, she had readjusted her mindset and was less concerned about it. She looked at it as something like a “traffic accident” that she had to accept if it happened, but of course it was better if it didn’t happen.

She wanted to know about Mr. Kouyou now, it was much more important than that!

(That’s right, tomorrow is Monday, so I have to go to the office. I need to make sure that Mr. Kouyou didn’t lose any money, and then I need to talk to the person in charge of this case to find out what happened before and after Kouyou’s disappearance.)

As Shoko was thinking about this, the phone in the living room rang again, and this time she got it.

Shokoichi picked up the microphone, “Hey! Hello!” From the other end of the microphone came the sound of the other party whispering.

It sounded like a middle-aged man. “Is this Mr. Tsuruta’s house?”

“Yes!” Shoko replied somewhat guardedly.

It suddenly occurred to her what she would do if it was Funakoshi calling.

As a result, the voice on the other end of the line got louder!

“I’m sorry! May I ask who you are to Mr. Kouyou Tsuruta?”

“I’m his wife. May I ask what you want with my husband?”

“Whoa! Mrs. Tsuruta is it?”

“That’s right! May I ask who you are?”

“I’m Moriyama from the Sado Aikawa Police Department in Shin-Etsu Prefecture!”

“Sado? The police department?” Shoko asked out of breath, startled.

There was no doubt about it, but she was holding the phone receiver tightly now.

Normally an ordinary housewife would be surprised to hear a phone call from a police station, let alone one from a police station so far away, which makes her seem even more alarmed. Plus now it happened to coincide with the disappearance of Mr. Kouyou, making her wonder what connection Mr. Kouyou had with Sado’s Aikawa police station.

“What happened to my husband?”

“Well!” The man called Moriyama suddenly hesitated.

“Ma’am, please hurry to us to confirm that your husband appears to have been killed in a car accident!

“Huh? What? What did you say?”

“We have a sightseeing base here in Sado called the Kinpokuyama Osado Tomb Line, and it seems that the car in which your husband was traveling lost control of its speed while turning a corner, hit a guardrail, and unfortunately went down the hill and died!”

Suddenly, Shoko fell silent. She couldn’t believe it for a moment when she heard what the other person said, but only a moment later, her whole body was trembling, her heart was beating wildly, and her hand holding the microphone began to shake.

“Ma’am, did you hear what I said?” The caller went on to explain the situation. “The scene of the accident was a steeper slope and many sharp turns in the mountain road, and the car involved in the accident may have been accelerating in order to facilitate the climb, but the result was that it encountered a sharp turn, and the brakes were not enough to stall and rush down the end of the mountain! As soon as the car hit the ground, it exploded into flames, killing the woman in the driver’s seat and your husband in the front seat!”

As soon as Shoko finished listening, she took the microphone and began to sob in a small voice.

She was surprised to hear words like “explosion, fire, burnt to death”, but she was even more shocked to hear that there was a woman in the driver’s seat.

“That… that… driving…?” Shoko stammered.

“Your husband wasn’t driving the car!”

“I know, my husband is sitting in the front seat. I was asking who the woman was!”

Sub’s mind immediately thought that the female couldn’t be Funakoshi Shoutarou’s wife, Kasumi!

“Well! Due to the power of the impact explosion, both passengers were completely disfigured, so we could not officially confirm the identity of the deceased, but from the back pocket of the deceased’s body, which was deformed by the impact, we found the wallet, which had been burned to a crisp, as well as the driver’s license, and we found the deceased’s address and name on the license, and that name happened to be your husband!”

The police officer who called Shoko kept explaining the whole story of the accident in a tone of regret for disturbing her.

Shoko, on the other hand, was frozen in place, listening to the phone.

“But my husband should be in Kyushu on business! He shouldn’t be traveling to Sado!”

(No! That’s not true! Kouyou is actually in Atami, you just don’t know it’s hidden somewhere in Atami!)

Yet another voice appeared deep inside her to remind her.

“Oh! The trip was probably just scheduled, we got your husband’s name, address and phone number from the business card and driver’s license in the wallet of the deceased’s pocket, so we’ll have to ask you to come to us first to confirm the deceased’s belongings and identity!”

It’s the main thing for the police to liaise with the families!

In addition to the identification of the deceased by the family, there may be routine investigations to be carried out!

It was another double whammy for Shoko.

“Okay! I’ll be ready to go right away.” Shoko finally replied in a small voice.

“But where should I go on Sado?”

“Please go to the Aikawa Police Station and ask for Officer Moriyama!” The person on the other end was about to hang up the phone as if he didn’t really want to talk much more, but he still asked.

“Ma’am, is this your first time on Sado?”

It was the first time for Shoko to even visit Niigata Prefecture, except for Sado.

After hearing Shoko’s answer, Officer Moriyama hmmm’d and began to think, then said, “Since it’s your first time here, you’re probably not familiar with the roads. I see! Let’s do it this way! I’ll pick you up from Niigata at Ryotsu Harbor, where the ferry docks. When you arrive in Niigata Prefecture, ma’am, give me a call and let me know the flight and time of your ferry, and I’ll be sure to pick you up at the exit right on time!”

Then Moriyama kindly told her that there were two kinds of ferries from Niigata to Sado: a large ferry and a jet boat, which was faster than the large ferry and made more frequent trips, and that if both were fully booked, she could tell the conductor that she was Tsuruta and that she had an emergency to get to the Sado police station, and the conductor would surely help her to arrange for a place on the ferry!

“So! Thank you so much for organizing so much for me!”

Shoko didn’t even know when she hung up the phone, but she felt a cold sweat all over her body, and felt her body shivering with unusual coldness. It was like a nightmare. Shoko found it hard to breathe, and fell towards the living room window, noticing that the trees in the courtyard were swaying like a dark forest, and the scenery before her eyes was dark.

But in fact, it was the middle of the day and the sun was shining brightly outside. It was only the sudden darkness in front of Shoko’s eyes that made her think it was gloomy.

After resting for a few moments, Shoko rushed to prepare her traveling supplies.

4 The Joetsu Shinkansen Asahi 317 departs Ueno at 1:08 p.m. and is expected to arrive at Shin-Eki at 2:04 p.m.

Shoko placed her hand luggage on the luggage rack and when she sat down she opened the weekly photo magazine, but her mind was in turmoil and as much as she wanted to see what was in the magazine, she couldn’t get the gossipy news into her head.

The train is about to start. The Shinkansen from Ueno is traveling northeast through a long underground tunnel, so we won’t be able to see anything out the window! The Shinkansen from Ueno, traveling in the northeast direction, had to pass through long underground tunnels in Joetsu, so there wouldn’t be any view out of the window later! Her heart welled up again with the sadness of leaving Tokyo earlier, and she felt very uncomfortable.

Another hurried trip, dressed in a suit and black leather boots, her luggage was the same as the last time she went to Atami, just some personal items and toiletries. The difference was that today she was not accompanied by Shoutarou Funakoshi.

The train began to enter the tunnel accelerating as it proceeded, and as the train pulled out of the tunnel, Shoko suddenly thought of something she had forgotten to do.

For example: she regretted not contacting Mr. Roc Construction, the company he worked for, but the Sado police station called on a Sunday, and she intuitively thought that no one would be working overtime at the company on a Sunday, so she just went out and didn’t call the company. But now that she’s calmed down, she could have looked up the company’s employee roster and called Kouyou’s supervisor or the General Affairs Department’s contractor at home! However, she didn’t call the company because the police station had informed her of the identity of the victim of the car accident, and she wasn’t sure if it was Kouyou, so she didn’t want to notify the company before she was sure.

Another point was that if the deceased was really Kouyou, then he should not have gone to Sado for the company’s business, and he even brought a woman along with him, making it look as if they were embarking on an incestuous trip, which made Shouko too embarrassed to notify the company, and that was why she rushed out of the house without informing the company! However, the thought of being alone with her husband’s remains made her uneasy.

Before she left the house, she had called at Tanizumi Savehei’s place in Kichijoji, but it turned out that he seemed to be out, so no one was answering the phone.

(It’s Sunday, he’s probably still sleeping, so let’s wait until we get to Shinkansen and call him!) After the Shinkansen passed Omiya, the conductor passed by the aisle beside her.

“Excuse me! Excuse me?” Shoko hurriedly voiced her question to the conductor.

“It’s getting close to evening after this train arrives in Shinshuya, is there still a ferry to Sado?”

She asked the conductor directly if there would be any more boats to the island isolated in the Sea of Japan when they arrived at Shin-Etsu after 3:00 PM!

The conductor stopped and looked at the Sado steamship schedule and answered her, “Miss! Don’t worry, there’s a flight every hour or so, and there are still seven or eight more after four o’clock and into the night!”

It was a relief to Shoko that it was so convenient.

“How far is it from the station to the harbor?”

“It’s about a ten-minute ride in a cab!”

“Thanks!”

“You’re going to Sado, huh?”

“Yes!”

“In that case, you can take the four o’clock jet boat that gets to New Leak, and you won’t have to rush so much!”

“So! Thank you so much!”

The conductor’s explanation was a great help to Shoko, who had no idea in her mind about the rest of the trip. Suddenly the question of why Kouyou was going to Sado came back to her mind, and whether the woman driving the train was Funakoshi Kasumi or not.

(This must be a mistake!)

While she was thinking about it, the Shinkansen had unknowingly passed the border of Takasaki and Shibukawa, and was now entering the Oshimizu Tunnel.

I’ve heard that after this tunnel, we’re almost at Echigo Yuzawa, and then the next stop is Shin-Etsuken!

Asahi 317 traveled like a shuttle through the mountains of Joetsu, and after exiting the Echigo plains, it raced along the Shinano River in the direction of the Sea of Japan.

Chapter 3: The Sado Martyrdom Case

1Arrived at New Leak at 2:04 p.m.

Shoko exited the ticket cutout in front of the taxi greeting station and headed for a nearby public phone booth. The phone rang two or three times when she called Tanitsu Savehei, who lived in Kichijoji.

“Hello! It’s Tanizu!” A voice rang out on the other end of the phone.

“Hello! It’s Shoko!” Shoko was much more relieved when she heard the call connect.

Tanizu said he heard the phone ringing just as he got back from being outside, so he ran to answer it still sounding a little out of breath.

Shoko tells him that there seems to be someone who died in a traffic accident on Sado, and the police suspect Kouyou.

“What? Mr. Tsuruta he…?” Tanitsu was quite surprised.

“Yes! That’s why I’m now preparing to head to Sado, but it’s a bit unsettling to be the only one traveling! I’m just now arriving at Shin-Etsu, so I wonder if Mr. Tanitsu can make it over to meet me?” She said in a sappy tone.

Tanitsu then asked, “Why did Mr. Tsuruta go to Sado?”

“I don’t know yet! And it seems like there’s a woman with her, and the person driving seems to be the woman!”

“With a woman? What?”

“I’m not really sure what’s going on, I’m just about to find out! If you’re free tomorrow, could you meet me here?” Tomorrow was Monday, and usually the beginning of the week was probably busy, so Shoko wasn’t sure if the other person was free.

And Tanitsu was a man of action, so he replied, “I see! Let me arrange to see which hotel you’re staying at in Sado?”

“I haven’t decided yet!”

“Alright! Then I’ll set out immediately to the Aikawa Police Station! Just give the name of the hotel you stayed at to the police officer!” Tanizu hung up the phone after saying that hurriedly.

After hearing that he was coming, Shoko’s heart calmed down a little. She got into a taxi in front of Shin-Etsu station.

“To the ferry ride at Sado.”

Shoko wasn’t sure if he understood when she told the driver about going to the harbor, so she had to elaborate. The taxi pulled up.

The scenery in front of Shin-Etsu Station has changed into a modern metropolis with many buildings, and the harbor is close to the station.

She took the conductor’s advice and was ready to buy a ticket for the sixteen o’clock jet boat, only to be told by the conductor that it was full.

“Pardon me! I’m Tsuruta who has an important matter to go to the New Leaky Cauldron Police Station.” When she informed the conductor, the conductor immediately turned around to call her superior and said, “Wait, please wait.”

It seemed that the police had contacted the port first, and shortly afterward, the manager of the Sado Steamship appeared and said, “The ship is full, but we can sell you tickets at a discount by taking out the seats reserved for the staff, I wonder if that’s all right?”

“Thanks so much! I just need a seat.”

“Then please fill in your name, address and other relevant information for the purchase of tickets.”

So Shoko got on this boat without any problems. The ship started right away, and this ship would reach its destination in about an hour or so.

The Sea of Japan is now over the clouds become thicker, the waves have become bigger, the ship’s glass is covered with a layer of fog, the windows are foggy, as the ship’s speed increases, the waves stirred up in the air, maybe even the glass will follow the waves and bob up and down with the waves.

Shoko looked into the field of view in front of her seat and saw only silver-gray clouds and the ocean, with no so-called islands visible yet. On the left hand side, on the other hand, the slight shadow of Sado Island was finally beginning to be visible, indicating that the ship had left the harbor.

However, for Shoko, her heart was quite heavy. When she thought of her husband’s death in a foreign land, the scenery she saw in front of her eyes was gray and colorless, and in contrast to her sadness, the high-speed speedboat ran through the sea of Japan, and arrived at the port of Ryotsu at about five o’clock in the evening.

2 Officer Moriyama of the Aikawa Police Department was waiting for her at Ryotsu Harbor as promised.

“Greetings! Thanks for your hard work!” The officer was around fifty years old, slightly chubby, giving off a thick and unassuming look, and the business card he handed her bore the title of Inspector.

“There’s my car, this way please!” The officer’s car was parked in the harbor’s parking lot.

“We’re going to the Aikawa police station now, then we’ll go to the crash site!”

“Is this on the way?”

“It’s just a slight detour, not a very long way around.”

Shoko’s stomach churned at the thought of watching it live, and she figured it was time to compose herself.

“Please sit there.”

“Got it!” Shoko got into the police car and it started up.

Inspector Moriyama drove himself away from the port of Ryotsu, and as soon as he passed the shopping street, the car entered the lakeside road, which did not look like a big city at all, but always looked like a countryside, and the lake in front of him was called Lake Kamo. The car crossed the lake and turned onto a prefectural road, heading towards the Kokusaka Plain.

“Does that… do I have to face the corpse?” Shoko asked directly the question that had been on her mind.

According to the situation described by Inspector Moriyama on the phone, after the car exploded and burned, the person sitting in the car must have been seriously injured. When she thought of facing her husband’s charred and blackened body, Shoko was afraid that she would not be able to control her emotions, and it would be terrible if she lost her temper and fainted!

“Yes! That’s routine. How can we identify the deceased if we don’t see the remains? We, the police, may also carry out the judicial process of autopsies on the two deceased at that time. Especially for the woman, there is nothing to identify her, so in order to get favorable clues such as her teeth marks and physical characteristics, an autopsy will be performed on both of them in the judicial process, right? If you, ma’am, can identify the deceased from their physical characteristics or leftovers, the autopsy step can be dispensed with!” After hearing the inspector’s explanation, Shoko gasped.

At present, the bodies of both the man and the woman are in a hospital designated by the police, and their belongings are in the custody of the Aikawa Police Department. Inspector Moriyama added that the scene of the accident was located on the Osado Antenna mountain road on the way from Ryotsu to Aikawa, which is not an ordinary road for traffic, but rather a special road for sightseeing.

“Your husband is supposed to be visiting!”

“But he didn’t even tell me about it!”

“By the way, I remembered that you had told me on the phone that your husband was on a business trip to Kyushu, right?

“Shoko had to tell the inspector that Kouyou hadn’t been able to do anything for a full two weeks.

“But it seems like he was in Atami a couple days ago!”

“What! Right! And what is that female?”

Shoko tells Inspector that the female should say Funakoshi Kasumi, the secretary of her husband’s company.

“Of course! I can’t say for sure if the woman who traveled with my husband to Atami, or even with him to Sado, was that secretary or not.”

“Never mind! We’ll check in that direction and see, too!” The car pulled into the plains of the country at some point.

The sight of the vast expanse of plains and also the towering peaks made Shoko wonder if the current location was really an island.

“May I ask when exactly did the car accident happen?” Shoko finally asked the important question she forgot to ask every time.

“It happened around 9:30 this morning, and it was reported by a motorist who was passing through the mountain road, and as soon as it was reported, fire trucks, ambulances, and the police, all responded. But it was too late…”

There was a car accident in Sado at around nine, and she got the news in Tokyo at eleven-thirty, which meant that the police were working quite quickly.

“There will be a judicial autopsy tomorrow, and we’d like to learn more about the circumstances surrounding your husband’s disappearance, so would it be possible for you to stay here for two or three days?”

“No problem!” Shoko replied so.

Because if it’s confirmed that the deceased is Kouyou, she’ll have to stay on the island for a few more days in order to go through the process of collecting the body, as well as the cremation procedures and other things.

“We are now investigating to find out the details of where your husband stayed the night before and what he rented from the car rental company when he rented the car, so tomorrow we will probably be able to find out what happened the day before the crash.” Moriyama said so.

Shoko’s mood was so up and down right now that she didn’t have the heart to listen to Moriyama carefully.

“From here we’re going into the mountains, and they’re bumpy, so buckle up.”

After seeing a road sign that reads “Shinbo,” the car turns right onto the Osado Highway, and then we see yellow fields and forested bushes before walking up a steep slope.

The Jinbei Mountain in front of us is a high mountain, and it is said that it reaches an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level, which is a high mountain of more than 1,000 meters! The Osado Mountain Highway is a north-south longitudinal road at the foot of the mountain, with a total length of 14.5 kilometers. As it was already sunset, the mountain road also followed the darkness, Moriyama will car headlights turned on. The road suddenly turned into a sharp incline, and after passing the Self-Defense Forces’ base, the car began to climb uphill all the way to a veritable mountain road. After walking for an indeterminate amount of time, the car almost reached the top of the mountain, and at this time, the western sky was left with the afterglow of the setting sun, and in front of his eyes, he could look out over all the beautiful scenery of the Kokusaika Plain, Mano Bay, Lake Kamo, and Ryotsu Harbor, which was a truly refreshing view.

Even though she had important things to take care of later, Shoko couldn’t help but marvel at the beauty of the scenery as if she were a tourist. Seeing the beauty in front of her finally made Shoko realize that most of the tourists who visit Sado rent a car or use a tour bus to enjoy the beauty, and rarely go alone.

(What kind of mood is Kouyou in to enjoy this scenery?)

After passing the White Cloud Mountain Resort, which is 840 meters above sea level, the Hell Valley with its towering cliffs will appear on the left and right.

On its right hand, the strong currents drifting in from the outer sea brought gusts of dense fog that drifted toward the cliffs on its left, presenting a magical sight of white swirls before its eyes.

“Scene of the crash, almost there!”

After passing the observation deck of the large platform, the gradient of the mountain road suddenly drops abruptly, replaced by a number of sharp turns at great angles, and underneath all the curves are continuous cliffs, which is simply a downhill section with nine curves and eighteen turns.

“There are frequent car accidents in this area, and it’s easy to go off the end of the hill if you’re going too fast!”

A long brake trail suddenly appeared on the ground in front of the windshield, and at the end of the trail must have been the cliff! Finally the car stopped at the top of the cliff.

“Here is the scene! Please get out of the car and take a look!”

The scene of the car accident was on the way to Jinshan, and the roadside guardrail still left with the smashed view shows the tragic situation of the accident at that time. The bottom of the cliff could not be seen from the inside of the car.

Moriyama opened the door and got out of the car, and Shoko followed suit, except that she had little strength to stand on her feet. After walking to the shoulder of the road, she looked down the cliff, only to feel a dizziness in front of her eyes, while the trees along the edge of the cliff directly below were burnt to a crisp, and the charred remains of the car were also visible.

“That’s where the car fell after it ran off the guardrail, and it was quite a struggle to carry the remains of the deceased on the car!” Moriyama’s voice explaining the events seemed to become distant.

Shoko was so dizzy that she almost collapsed, but in the end she managed to hold herself together and said, “I’m sorry! Could you please take me to my hotel? I don’t think I’ll have the energy to check my belongings again today!”

“Ah! Ahh! I’m sorry! I didn’t notice you were uncomfortable!” Moriyama rushed to support Shoko’s body with his hands.

Shoko felt like vomiting as she staggered toward the car, saying, “I’m sorry for the trouble!”

3 The ryokan where she stayed was by the sea, far from the city of Aikawa, and situated on a cliff near Senkaku Bay, making it impossible for Shoko to sleep peacefully with the sound of the waves all night long.

The next day Shoko came to the Aikawa police station.

“Alas! I was so rude yesterday, please forgive me! The relics we keep here, please go this way!”

Inspector Moriyama led her to a room.

The remains included burned and torn clothes, shoes, and the remains of belongings. Among the belongings was an alligator wallet containing a driver’s license, business cards, loose change, a key ring and other items.

Any of the items were items that Shoko recognized, these were definitely Kouyou’s things, especially the buckle on the belt that made Shoko recognize it as the belt that she had bought for Kouyou, as well as the deerskin moccasins, the key ring, and the alligator leather wallet, each of which evoked memories for her!

“How?”

“That’s right! I think that’s my husband’s stuff.”

“Are you really sure these are really your husband’s.”

“That’s right!”

“Just to be on the safe side, I’m going to start describing physical characteristics.”

Inspector Moride began to look at the report, reading out the presumed height, weight, body type, presumed looks, etc. of the deceased, and every feature made Shoko think that the deceased should be Kouyou.

“However, we haven’t confirmed the teeth marks yet.” After saying that, Inspector Moriyama closed the report with a snap.

“What?”

“After confirming the tooth marks, we found that the deceased’s teeth showed no signs of treatment, but we still have to make a dental mold and send it to a dentist in Tokyo to do a comparative confirmation.”

“So!” But it was true that Kouyou had not seen a dentist as far as Shoko could remember.

“Okay! We’ve identified the deceased as Kouyou Tsuruta, age 35. As for the female victim! Mrs. Kasumi Funakoshi mentioned yesterday that it might be Kasumi Funakoshi, so we’d like to look into that in more detail!”

Shoko is taken to a room similar to an investigation room, and begins to be questioned about various things, mainly about her impression of Kasumi Funakoshi, her clothes, her contacts, and so on, and then finally the subject comes back to Kouyou, with questions about his company, his work, and what happened before and after he disappeared.

The interrogation took about an hour or so. Shoko suddenly thought that it seemed a bit trivial to make such an inquiry in order to confirm the identity of the victim of the car accident.

After finally finishing his inquiry, Inspector Moriyama closed the investigation book and asked, “What are you going to do with the remains?

“I’m sorry,” he said, crossing his arms and staring straight at her.

Shoko was at a loss because she hadn’t thought of this place yet.

“These similar cases often occur on the island, and most of them are cremated in situ, and then the family returns to Tokyo with the ashes for burial. It’s okay if they don’t.”

Plume felt relieved after listening to Inspector Moriyama’s explanation, and thought that it might be better to inform the company first, and that it might not be too late to discuss the matter when she met with Savehei Tanitsu in the afternoon.

“I’d like to talk to someone about the possibility of sending the remains again to a hospital designated by the police department.”

“Okay! No problem!”

“I intend to stay at the hotel tonight, and I’d like to make another visit tomorrow, so I’ll trouble you again then!”

“No problem! Thanks for your hard work!”

4 It was about 2:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon when Chuo Daily’s Tanimatsu Savehei arrived at Sado.

Shoko was resting in the hotel.

After hearing the call from the counter, Shoko went downstairs to the lobby, where Tanitsu was already sitting on the couch with his jacket off.

“It’s tough, isn’t it! It’s so hard on you!” He stood up to comfort her.

“I’m sorry for bothering you when Mr. Tanizu is so busy!”

Tanitsu took the jacket of his dark blue suit in his hand before draping it over the camera on his shoulder, while he didn’t have any luggage with him, exactly like his usual style.

“Well? What’s the situation now?”

“The dead man would have been my husband, there’s no mistaking it! What a great blow!”

“That’s really true! I also checked with the company before I left today, and Roc Construction doesn’t have any projects underway in Sado, so Mr. Tsuruta shouldn’t have any official business to come to Sado, let alone bring a female companion, so why on earth would he come to Sado?”

Shoko began to explain the circumstances of the car accident.

“Rushing off a cliff? I always thought things weren’t innocent!”

“Not innocent?” Shoko asked after she heard what Tanitsu said.

“You think Mr. Tsuruta is missing! Didn’t the rumors say he absconded with the money? This car accident, it shouldn’t be that innocent, I always feel something is very wrong!”

“Not right? You mean there’s an inside job?”

“Whether it’s really an inside job or not, I can’t say for sure!” After Tanizu finished speaking, he continued, “Have you contacted the company yet?”

“I haven’t informed the company yet, I’d like to discuss it with Mr. Tanizu first before I do!”

“This is really troublesome, if the police go to question the company first, then it will surely cause a big commotion in the company, I think it’s better to let the people in the general affairs division know earlier first, because Mr. Tsuruta is the head of the bidding division, so it’s easy for people in the company to spread the word, when you come across this kind of situation, you should notify the company’s general affairs department first, so it’s not too late now, notify him immediately It’s not too late, so inform his supervisor right away!”

“Whoa! I’ll get right on it!” Shoko was about to get up to make the announcement when the counter attendant happened to page her as well.

“Is this Ms. Tsuruta, please?”

“I am!”

“The police called and just transferred to your room you’re not there!”

“Wow! Thanks!” Shoko picked up the phone at the counter. The caller was none other than Moriyama, whom she had just met this morning.

“Alas! I’m sorry to bother you so often! As a matter of fact, a report has just come in that the remains of your husband and the woman were found in a hotel in Ryotsu, the same hotel where they stayed the day before the accident. The results of the autopsy have been released, so I’d like to ask you to come to the police station again.

“What were the items left behind inside the Ryotsu Inn?”

“Well… it’s not really appropriate to say this over the phone, but I’ll tell you that a large amount of cash, all in new bills, about 12 million won, was found in the locked safe in the room. Do you know about this, ma’am?”

Inspector Moriyama went on to ask her if she had ever withdrawn such a large sum of cash at a bank window.

“No! How is that possible?” Shoko immediately replied it was impossible, she couldn’t believe that Kouyou was traveling with a large amount of cash.

She’s starting to worry that the rumors of Kouyou’s disappearance with a deficit of public funds are turning out to be true.

“Ma’am, we’d like to ask you a few more things, such as the origin of the leftovers and the results of the judicial autopsy, and we’ve also found a few minor problems, so could you please come back to the station?”

“I have no recollection at all of the matter of the legacy being cash, and even if I saw it I could not recall its origin! However, I happen to have a journalist friend with whom I’m discussing related matters right now, so I was wondering if I could ask this journalist friend of mine to find out the results of the judicial autopsy on my behalf?” Shoko suddenly felt a headache for some reason, and wasn’t feeling too well.

Because the night before the car accident, the hotel where Kouyou stayed had clearly indicated that he had spent the night with a woman, which made her suffer a great shock, and even more so, she could not accept this fact, and now according to this situation, she had to notify the company as soon as possible. The company might not know about the 12 million yen in cash left in the safe, so she should notify Saito’s sales manager first.

So Shoko wanted to make Savehei Tanitsu her agent to run the police station on her behalf, and Inspector Moriyama agreed to this agent’s proposal.

“Please! Please run to the police station instead of me.”

“No problem, I’ll get it done for you as soon as possible.” Taniuzu Provincial Flat promised her with alacrity.

Tanitsu stayed at the Senkaku Bay Hotel with Shoko that night and went to the police station as soon as he had completed the formalities for his stay.

5 “What? Having a sleeping pill reaction?”

“That’s right! It’s only a small amount, but we did find a reaction to barbiturate sleeping pills in the female’s stomach!”

“That means the female was driving after drinking the sleeping pills?”

“Nope! That’s not what we’re judging, we think it’s possible that the medication she took the night before, still remains in her system.” Inspector Moriyama spoke carefully.

(Is that so?) Tanimatsu Souhei began scratching the back of his ears, a habitual action when he was thinking.

“That is to say, we can assume that in order to create a car accident in which two people fall off a cliff due to driving errors, someone made the women drink coffee or drinks spiked with sleeping pills before or during the drive!”

“To deliberately arrange for a car accident to happen like this means that the current situation is similar to a homicide incident!” Inspector Moriyama’s face calmed down a bit after hearing this hypothesis.

“At the very least, you guys doubt that possibility, right?”

“A news reporter indeed, well thought out.” Inspector Moriyama said with a smile.

“Actually, I think so too, so I’d like to review the car accident situation and investigate it carefully once more.” Moriyama added.

“But with all due respect, I doubt that the woman driving the car should have anything to feel bad about in her heart at the end of a vacation on this incestuous secret trip, which means she shouldn’t have chosen to die on Sado!”

“Exactly! There shouldn’t be anything to be upset about, which means she shouldn’t have chosen Sado to be martyred!”

“Exactly! That’s exactly what I think.” Moriyama lit a cigarette and continued, “Taking all the circumstances into account, if we analyze the following, it can explain their behavior. First of all, both the man and the woman have spouses, so this incestuous relationship can’t be solved just by having secret meetings. The second point is that the man lost his money and went into hiding with his lover, so he came to Sado, an isolated island, and planned to stay there as the end of his trip. At this point, the woman, in order to make the relationship go more smoothly, drinks a drink containing sleeping pills before setting out to explore the mountain scenery, and dozes off while driving, wanting to go to Elysium with the man!”

That’s a good and reasonable explanation. Tanizu looked out the window at the blue sky.

“Do you have any proof of your claim that he defrauded the public purse?” Tanizu asked him back.

“As I reported to Mrs. Tsuruta on the phone, 12 million dollars in cash, all in new bills, was found in the safe of the hotel where they stayed the night before the accident. After contacting the company where Yukio Tsuruta worked, we learned that Tsuruta had been missing for more than two weeks after he defrauded the company, and his whereabouts were unknown!” The police had already contacted the company.

From Moriyama’s conversation, he learned that the night before the accident, the two men had stayed at the Kamo Inn in Lake Kamo, Ryotsu City.

The hotel also stated that the two had booked a room for two nights. They rented a car for three days from a car rental agency near the port of Ryotsu.

Therefore, in addition to cash, there was a suitcase of women’s belongings and clothes left in the hotel room. A business card of “Kasumi Funakoshi” was attached to the suitcase, which was the same person as Shoko Tsuruta had previously deduced, so the police started contacting her husband, and tomorrow her husband, Shoutarou Funakoshi, will be able to come to confirm the identity of the deceased.

However, when they booked the room, their names were not their real names, i.e., the names of Yukiyo Tsuruta and Kasumi Funakoshi were not listed in the register, but rather, they were listed as Mr. and Mrs. Sadao Naito. Inspector Moride further clarified.

“Inspector, if this is something that I look at as a homicide, then before the two people were involved in the car accident, were they in a situation where they met with a third party on Sado, or did they go to any other place on the island, and also have they thoroughly questioned the witnesses to the car accident incident on that day again about the actual circumstances of the car accident that occurred on that day.”

“Do you suspect some kind of conspiracy behind the incident?”

“Well! A little bit!”

“What do you suspect?”

“I haven’t determined what it is yet, so I’m sorry to tell you, but I just don’t think there’s something right about this, so if I find out something, I’ll be sure to inform the police!” Despite what he said, Tanizu simply didn’t have any information to provide to the police right now! Was it really a car accident? Or was it a murder? Or a martyrdom?

It’s just that Tanitsu always thought that Shoko her husband’s death was never a mere car accident. But the police because they can not search for evidence of related crimes, so they can only close the case as a simple car accident incident, and it is impossible to continue  evidence all the time.

Tanizu could only try to remind Inspector Moriyama that there was something not innocent about the crash.

“At the very least, the fact that sleeping pills were found in the bodies of the women who drove the car indicates that this is not a simple case, so please thoroughly investigate the places they visited after they came to the island, and you should be able to find some clues!”

Moriyama twirled out his cigarette while saying in agreement, “No problem! We know: we’ll look into it further!”

“Everything please!” After leaving the police station that day, Tanizu rented his own car and went to the scene of the crash to check it out. He also went to a hotel in Ryotsu City to find out the situation, and the answers he got were almost always the same as what the police said.

When Tanitsu returned to the Senkaku Bay Hotel in Aikawa and entered his room, it was already around nine o’clock that night when he was about to pack up for dinner.

At first, Tanitsu didn’t notice because he was taking a bath. However, he felt as if he heard the doorbell, turned off the faucet, put on his bathrobe and stepped out of the bathroom, and heard the doorbell again, so he towel-dried his hair while asking out loud, “Who is it?” Then he unlocked the door chain.

The man at the door didn’t answer right away, though.

“Come in!” Tanizu held the handle and opened the door.

I thought it would be a waiter from the hotel, but I realized it was a beautiful woman I had never seen before standing in the doorway! The beauty had long hair and was standing in the doorway wearing a yukata without any makeup, and upon closer inspection, it was actually Shoko standing in the doorway like a ghost!

To say it looked like a ghost was a bit of an exaggeration, but in reality, it was Shoko’s spirit standing in the doorway as if it had flown off somewhere.

(It’s not Shoko, is it? What’s wrong?) Tanizu thought to himself as he stepped out of the bathroom, which is why he hurriedly wrapped his body before answering the door.

“I’m so sorry! I was drinking by myself after dinner and suddenly felt so alone that I couldn’t sleep!”

“It’s not time for bed yet! I happen to have something to tell you too, come in!”

Tanitsu pulled Shoko into a chair by the window and sat down, while he hurriedly put on his hotel robe before opening the refrigerator.

“Want a drink?”

“Okay, thanks!”

“That’s the only drink I could find lo!”

Gohan took out the mini-bottle of whiskey from the refrigerator, and after such as the appropriate ice cubes and ice water, sat down across from Shoko.

Shoko, for her part, seemed to drop her heart as she looked out the window at the dark ocean view!

Below the ryokan was the ocean, and since the ocean was so close to Senkaku Bay, the sound of the waves pounding on the cliffs from time to time was unceasing. And the ocean as far as the eye could see was all the Sea of Japan, and on the surface, the bright lights of fishing boats.

Shoko finally shifted her gaze back indoors.

“Any new leads from the police?”

Tanizu thought about it but decided to tell her the situation.

“Yes! They have discovered very unexpected facts!”

Tanizu one and a half of the judicial autopsy, in the female body found a slight sleeping drug reaction, so the police suspect that the incident is not a simple car accident, and toward the martyrdom or homicide of the direction of the investigation!

“What? Martyrdom? …?”

“They think the woman may have wanted to die with her! Because no sleeping pills were found in your husband’s stomach!”

“What a horrible woman!”

“However, the current isn’t really sure about martyrdom, maybe it’s his murder!”

“What? He killed… it’s horrible!” When he thought about it, Sho Yu didn’t want to talk anymore!

Tanizu took a sip of his drink while Shoko followed suit.

“However, it seems to be currently established that the woman your husband brought with him would be Funakoshi Kasumi correctly! It’s just that everyone is still unclear as to what that woman is thinking?”

Shoko lowered her head slightly. “There’s something I haven’t told Mr. Tanitsu!”

So Shoko tells Tanitsu about meeting Kasumi’s husband last week and going to Atami together to track down their other halves.

Shoko didn’t explain the whole story in detail, but only explained that she had spent one night in Atami with a man named Shoutarou Funakoshi, but it was clear from her words that the two of them had had a physical relationship between a man and a woman.

Tanitsu was quite surprised, and he felt rather jealous of the man called Funakoshi Choutarou.

(I haven’t even touched Shoko yet!) At that thought, his chest was stuffy and his throat felt parched.

With that, Tanizu rushed to take out another bottle of wine and pour it into a glass and drink it.

“So it’s true that Mr. Tsuruta has been to Atamiro with that woman called Kasumi!”

“I think so, and there are pictures to prove it!”

“So the two of them have been dating for a long time!”

“Probably! What’s wrong?” Shoko turned her eyes to the sea again.

The alcohol level in the glass has long since doubled!

“This is weird!” Shoko muttered to herself as if something suddenly occurred to her.

“What’s weird?”

“It’s that Kasumi woman! She’s not someone who’s going to make a man the center of her life!”

“What’s there to show?”

“There’s no real proof, but from her husband’s words, I can sense that she’s a very powerful woman! She was able to work and support her student lover during the time he was in a sanatorium, and her job was very important to the president and chairman of the board, so how could an office worker who was so involved with men see men as the center of her life?”

There are many legends about this area of Sado, and it is said that in the Edo period, a disillusioned samurai named Mizutaki Hitoshi composed a poignant and sad story with a dancing girl from Aikawa! There are also many men and women who chose this mountain path as a place for martyrdom.

And these legendary women should be of a different type than the Kasumi Shoko remembered.

“In that case, Kisumi is the secretary of the chairman’s office, which means it’s the highest-ranking secretary! A woman like that died with the head of the bidding department? Well, from these signs, this case should be a murder case!”

Tanitsu inadvertently reasoned to himself in front of Shoko at this point.

But it was as if Shoko hadn’t heard it at all, because her eyes were fixed on the lights from the fishing boats on the dark sea.

Tanizu toned down the wine a bit.

“Stop caring about her! Drink some more!”

Tanitsu wanted to comfort Shoko, but he couldn’t think of any words to do so. At her young age of twenty-nine, having to deal with the sudden death of her husband, any words of comfort shouldn’t be of any help to her!

“Right! Has there been any movement at the company?”

Tanizu suddenly thought of this topic to distract her.

“What?”

“If it’s confirmed that Mr. Tsuruta was on a business trip, then the car accident would be considered a death in the line of duty, but if it was a private sightseeing trip, that’s a different story!”

“Hasn’t it been confirmed that it’s the latter?”

“That’s not necessarily true! Mr. Tsuruta’s death may have involved some unknown secrets of the company, allowing the company to claim that he was on a business trip and bury him in the company’s name.”

“But the company could also sue him for defalcation and entrapment!”

“Yeah! What about this?”

Tanitsu himself takes great pleasure in deducing the events surrounding Kouyou Tsuruta’s death, and speaks of his hypothesis to himself with great amusement. However, in order to clarify whether or not Kouyou Tsuruta’s death was related to the company, it was necessary to organize the key points that would crack the case, so calmness was a necessary condition.

“It’s so unpredictable!” After a moment of silence, Shoko suddenly spoke as if to herself.

“Yeah! It’s so unpredictable! It’s so impermanent that someone who is the head of the bidding division and carries the heavy responsibility of the company would get so spooked that he elopes with his lover and travels to Sado, only to be killed in a car accident by mistake.”

(It would be even more unusual if he was murdered on company business.) While Tanitsu was thinking to himself, Shoko said with tears in her eyes, “I’m not talking about my husband, I’m talking about myself. I never thought I’d be a widow at twenty-nine!”

This comment made Tanitsu a little nervous, and even though he was a few years older than Shoko, he didn’t know how to chime in.

“Mr. Tsuruta’s death was so sudden that you didn’t know how to cope with it… You’re still young, it’s too serious to call yourself a widow… Don’t think too much about it! Don’t think too much about it!”

“There’s no way for me not to think about it! It’s always too impermanent for me, and I feel this emotion whenever I hear the sound of the waves.”

“Danger! Danger!”

“All I have to do is think about our marriage, our family, and how impermanent it is!”

Shoko had felt very lonely since she was alone just now, listening to the sound of the waves, and that loneliness was indescribable. “Right! You see, I became a widow before I even turned thirty! Not just a widow, but I’m also labeled as the wife of a suspect who defrauded the public coffers! What should I do?” Shoko said with great agitation.

Tanizu didn’t know how to comfort her, much less what to say?

Tanitsu had to stand up and come around behind Shoko, placing his hands on her shoulders and stroking her hair as Shoko turned her face toward Tanitsu and wordlessly offered her lips.

He froze for a moment when Shoko’s lips touched his solidly, but instead of moving away, he was drawn in as if electrified, and he felt his mouth fill with a salty taste, only to look and realize that at that moment Shoko was in tears!

With tears streaming down her face, Shoko kissed her fiercely, and their lips were attracted to each other like magnets. After kissing fiercely, Tanitsu moved his face away and stroked Shoko’s hair as he said, “Come on, a little more wine will make you sleep better! Just forget about everything and sleep well, you’ll be refreshed, don’t think about anything now.”

“I don’t want to go to sleep now, let me stay here a little longer.”

“But I want to sleep.”

“It’s okay if you go to sleep first, I want to drink some more wine and listen to the waves.”

“Then! I’ll go to sleep first!”

Not knowing how long he had slept, Tanitsu lay back into his nest as if he had been in a light sleep, when he suddenly felt a hair touch his cheek, so he woke up, and before he went to sleep he turned down the bedside lamp a bit so it was now rather dim in the room.

But he knew right away it was Shoko in her robe lying next to him.

“Please! Don’t turn on the lights!” Shoko, who had just sat by the window, had turned off all three electric lights, so the room was dark.

“Can’t sleep?”

“Grace! I’m afraid to be alone, please let me stay here.”

At this moment, Shoko’s body was wrapped in her robe, while her exposed wrists touched Tanitsu’s body, and since this part was not wrapped in her clothes, her hands and feet were cold! Tanizu hesitated for a moment, it would definitely not be good to embrace the recently widowed Shoko at this moment! He and Shoko had never crossed the line between friends; they were purely friends who knew each other as sweethearts and friends in green shirts. This relationship can be considered as friendship or pure love.

However, their hesitation was redundant, because what Shoko was thinking was unilateral. The sound of waves coming from the sea of Japan in the silent night reminded Shoko of her lonely heart, making her want to fall headlong into hell. No, that’s not it! I don’t mean to say fall into hell, but to say that Shoko’s burning desire deep inside her heart was making her feel uneasy and lonely, and if that was the case, then wouldn’t it be better to save her?

At this point Tanizu began to think in that direction. In fact, this was his own rationalization for the desire that had arisen in his heart! Thinking that the man named Funakoshi had touched Shoko’s body in Atami, Tanitsu, without saying a word, embraced Shoko in his arms, then pressed his body against Shoko and slowly kissed her on the lips, while Shoko responded silently. Tanitsu then boldly unbuttoned Shoko’s lapel, and used his hands to caress her breasts, holding her firm and round breasts in his hands, which were so soft and comfortable that he began to knead them, and this action made Shoko’s mouth let out a delicate sound.

“Mr. Tanitsu, am I messing around!”

At this moment, Tanitsu took off Shoko’s nightgown, presenting her white and tender skin, while Shoko’s breasts were hard and full, inviting him, like the budding pink roses, so Tanitsu couldn’t help but to take the tip of the bud in his mouth and began to suck on it.

“AH… AH…” Shoko chirped as she was getting older.

Tanazu’s hand slowly moved down to the warm, sensual area, his fingers penetrating even deeper into that deep valley pussy, feeling the wetness and warmth.

“Mr. Tanitsu… I’m in so much pain… Take off your clothes!”

Tanazu took off his shirt, revealing the throbbing of that magnificent hardness, and then he began to move his fingers in and out of that wet lily valley again, feeling the spring gushing out warmly.

“Ah… what should I do?” Shoko cried out as she shook her body.

“Kouyou… Kouyou… has only just left!”

Tanitsu took off the last piece of clothing on Shoko at this point, and proceeded to let Shoko see his throbbing that was waiting to happen, and that guy left Shoko torn and conflicted between morality and carnal desire!

And Tanitsu couldn’t care less at this point, he just wanted to go with his senses! Finally he pushed his dick deep into the wet valley, which made Shoko cry out in excitement. As Tanitsu pounded that soft body, Shoko spread her legs around Tanitsu’s waist, trying to match his movements.

“Aaah… aaah…” Shoko cried out as she shook her head and swayed her hips. At this point, she could only indulge in carnal pleasures by feeling, and Tanitsu had no idea what was going on inside Shoko, who had thrown herself at him tonight!

In fact, Shoko can’t stand the fact that she carries the stigma of being the wife of a suspect of defalcation, so she wants her body to be tainted as well, and all of this is a reflection of her inner turmoil, and all of this is the reason why Tanitsu can’t think of her bonding with him!

At this point, Tanitsu was on the verge of reaching his peak, and couldn’t take it anymore! Shoko had reached her peak at the same time, and the two of them went to heaven together!

And the roar of the waves came from the darkness outside the window!
